When he called her from the office to attend the dinner, he remembered that in his previous life, she had worn a lot of makeup for the party. Feng Xinying smiled and said, "The honor is mine, Mr. Lim."

Feng Xinying knew who Lim Chuen was. She had seen his daughter a number of times in social circles and had insulted her on one or two occasions. She realized that Lim Chuen hadn't recognized her, which worked better for her.

"Xie Yuansheng, how are you, my friend? I have been waiting for you for a long time," he said, giving a bear hug to Xie Yuansheng. "Come on, let me introduce you to someone." Saying that, Lim Chuen dragged Xie Yuansheng away from Feng Xinying, which invited a frown from Xie Yuansheng.

However, she already knew what her father wanted, and so she seductively looked at Xie Yuansheng. "Good evening, Xie Yuansheng. I have heard a lot of good things about you from father."

Xie Yuansheng nodded and said, "Thank you."

He looked to his side and found Yun Chen standing very close to him. As soon as he looked, Yun Chen brought her hand forward to coil it around his arm. Xie Yuansheng gave her a cold glare that scared her to the extent that she stepped back, which made Lim Fei Yen laugh softly. Hiding her embarrassment, she coughed a little and said, "CEO Xie, do you want a drink? After all, I am your secretary. I will do as you want." Saying that, she trotted off to the bar where drinks were served. Lim Fei Yen started talking with him, but he gave answers in monosyllables. Soon, Lim Fei Yen became bored and diverted her attention to other friends.

He started scanning the room to find Feng Xinying, who hadn't walked with him. He remembered the pain he had caused her in his previous life and immediately became restless. He wanted to be with her. He took out his phone and called her.

"Have you had your dinner?" he asked softly.

"No. We have just arrived at the venue," she replied.

"Where are you?" he asked.

"Somewhere no one will notice me. Why?"

"We are going home in five minutes. Come at the entrance," he said.

Xie Yuansheng walked away from there. Yun Chen had gotten the drink made for him and walked over to offer it to him, but she saw that he was leaving with that woman again. She was so enraged that she wanted to kill her. In her anger, she downed the entire drink that she had brought for Xie Yuansheng in one go and then took another one from the waiter who was passing by.

Later, she found herself naked in the hotel's room, being devoured by someone she didn't even know.
