Into The Zombie World Chapter 224

[360° Sensor Activated!]
After the System prompt sounded in Nile's mind, the System Map inside also blinked twice before a sonar like wave could be seen waving out of him.
As soon as the sonar wave took off with him as the center multiple red dots could then be seen in the System Map.
Nile became elated as he tried to memorize all of the locations of the red dots that surrounded him. There were more than ten red dots and it was no problem for Nile to memorize them all.
Five seconds passed in the blink of an eye and in no time, Nile had already commanded the System to turn it off immediately lest his Apocalypse Points got deducted needlessly.
With that 5 seconds, not only were Nile able to memorize all of the locations of the more than ten zombies that surrounded him, he was also able to notice a slight similarity between them.
They were all moving in the same direction.
Towards the place where he had just come from, the North side of the town of Daan.
Nile thought about it but he couldn't put his head into it no matter what. He just couldn't fathom the reason why they were moving towards that direction. As far as he knew, the North side was also barren, zombies, hybrids, and humans alike.
He could not say the same thing near the center though as he encountered many zombies as well as hybrids there.
"Well, no need to think about it. I'll still kill them if given a chance…"
"We need to go back guys. It's time for a little hunt…" Nile commanded as he let Maximo turn around.
Croco and Ogis responded positively as they also moved behind the scenes.

With Nile providing the general direction, Ogis was able to spot zombies easier than before. And in no time, they had already found their first prey.
It was a level one zombie, nothing 'fancy'. As they didn't want to waste time, Croco moved as per Nile's order to kill the zombie in one blow.
Croco was successful and Nile received the stats points immediately. The cold and pleasant sensation was still there but it was not as strong compared to the first time that he experienced it.
No, Nile would always want to feel himself get stronger. The reason why he doesn't feel that much pleasure anymore was because the increment was so 'little' for him to celebrate.
Anyways, after Croco killed that zombie, they immediately searched for the next target. And with Ogis and Nile's help, they spotted zombies after zombies, killing them one by one without surprise.
There was an occasional Level Two zombie that would pop out but as usual, Croco and Ogis killed them with good combination.
It was not a problem for Nile even if he doesn't fight for now. The talent, Instant Adapter would always allow him to fight like no equal. Unlike the others, he doesn't need to gain experience in order to fight fluently, all it takes is for the Instant Adapter to take effect and he would be good to go.
However the hunt didn't go that smoothly as someone was already trying to express their jealousy.
Maximo was no longer in the limelight as he was no longer able to fight now that Nile had already given him the job of becoming his 24 hour ride.
Like the others, he also wanted to fight and receive praise from his master. He felt jealous that only Croco and the new pet Ogis were the only one who fought. He felt threatened that they might steal his spot as the favourite pet of their master.

Hence he wanted to be as helpful as possible.
Nile noticed Maximo's strange behaviour and was able to know what had caused it. He was expecting it already anyway. And besides, he just wants Maximo to get stimulated so as to try and make him evolve sooner.
Anyways, upon feeling Maximo's jealousy, Nile didn't hold him back anymore as he allowed him to fight.
It was also a coincidence that they spotted two zombies at the same time. Croco dealt with the other one while Nile ordered for Maximo to take on the other.
Maximo's expression instantly lightened and one could even see a beaming smile surface on his face. He licked his nose that was pierced by the earring's of loyalty before he walked towards his target with an evil expression.
The zombies this time were both level two and Nile expected that it won't be easy for them. Especially for Maximo who is only at the final stage right now.
Nile ordered Ogis to get ready and to interfere if necessary. Although he wanted them to improve rapidly he also doesn't want them to hurt needlessly.
Ogis accepted Nile's order by flapping his wings up and down.
He also instructed Maximo and Croco to be careful, lest they get ahead of themselves.
Maximo and Croco nodded their heads up and down but their gaze was still lingering on their respective targets.
Croco moved silently and followed the level two zombie's walking pattern. After studying it, he went ahead of it and tried to anticipate its next move.
His anticipation was on point as in the next seconds, the zombie did come towards his location as if being lured by something.
And as it grew closer, Croco's breathing became as still as a rock.
An assassin waiting for the right opportunity, that's what Croco was trying to do.
And when the level two zombie stepped inside Croco's range, he didn't waste any more time as he directly pounced to it from behind.
He swiped his arm blade forcefully, causing a 'swoosh' sound to be heard.
However, a level two zombie's reaction speed could not be underestimated, and so as Croco's swipe.
The zombie tried to react by ducking, and as it thought that it had already escaped the danger, what the zombie didn't expect was that it was still not over.

MC is strong from the word go and he has a specific goal. He's also learned many skills before the beginning of the novel, so don't expect a murderhobo for levels.
