Into The Zombie World Chapter 177

After successfully kill stealing the level two zombie, Nile felt satisfied and made a wink towards the human who became his cannon fodder.
'It looks like he fainted.' He stated as he stared at the man who was lying on the ground.
He wanted to leave the man, but he did feel bad for kill stealing the zombie. Well, if he didn't interfere then the man should pray that his head wouldn't cut off from his neck.
However, he did still grab the man's collar and carry him over towards the building where Maximo and Croco were at.
The battle only lasted for a couple of minutes. Nile returned while carrying a man.
He didn't feel grateful or whatsoever, but as he didn't like the idea of leaving the man behind only to be eaten by some wandering hybrids, he decided to bring him over.
What he was wondering though is that ever since earlier, hybrids or zombie's no longer pop outs on his System Map.
'Where are they?' He put his hand over his chin as he thought of the hybrids. They emerged like a bubble and disappeared like a bubble.
'Maybe they got scared?' He said inside his head.
The fight between two levels two beings had scared the low leveled hybrids and zombies. Hearing the scream earlier, they already knew what to do.
Don't go to that place, unless you have a Level Two° being with you, and the said Level Two° hybrid is confident in defeating a Level Two° zombie.
He didn't put him in the same building though and instead, placed his heavy body on the opposite building. He didn't plan on saving the man all day long, after this night, he would be on his own again.

He placed the man's body over an elongated chair. After doing that, he returned to the opposite building and patted Maximo's head. The two then went inside the building.
His System Map was clear of hybrids, zombies, and humans for the moment. He didn't know how long this would last, and he knew he needs to prepare for it.
After jumping from building to building and fighting the hybrids, his energy had already become lower. Although it was also replaced the moment he made a kill, the amount could not replenish all his energy during a fight.
He still hasn't tried emptying his energy out and he didn't want to try it either. So, he bought an Ice Water inside the System Store and drinks it all in one go. Slowly, his remaining energy stats started to rise, little by little. After a minute, it had finally become full again.
A refreshing and cool feeling washed his body as he stared at the full energy stats. He then recalled that Maximo had still not drink any water yet, so with 7 Apocalypse Points, he bought a huge bucket, no… a container full of water for Maximo to consume.
Seeing the almost unlimited water, Maximo's eyes bulge in surprise as he instantly dips his muzzle towards the container's entrance, drinking a mouthful of water.
After a few minutes, Maximo already finished half and it seems that he still doesn't have the intention to stop. So Nile leave him be and went towards the evolving Croco.
He was surprised by the sight before him. He almost jumped in fright thinking there's a new animal that had snuck in the building.
However, a moment later, he realizes that it was indeed Croco, his pet, the shameless crocodile Croco.

Currently, Croco's body had already shrunk by a fourth to his original size. He had also gotten thinner.
'System? Tell me... did the evolution… failed?' He asked worriedly.
[No, Host. The pet Croco was still undergoing his evolution, please don't disturb the evolving crocodile, host.]
The System replied reassuring Nile about the current circumstances.
'You don't like your body being huge, Croc?' He playfully said.
'I wonder what other things would change this time.',
He already knew that Croco was pursuing the path of being a silent assassin. He already had his arm blade as the weapon, and the snake's wriggly move as his way of closing the enemy closely, now what he needed would be a thin body.
'Maybe he shrinks his body to move faster with less weight? I see… that must be it.' He pondered and went towards the drinking Maximo.
He stared at Maximo's fat ass that had almost clipped the base of the tail.
'When will this animal evolve?' He said thoughtfully.
'Maybe he still needs inspiration or something? Hmm… come to think of it, Croco did evolve due to the stress that he was trying to overcome.'
'Hmm… it looks like I need to send Maximo out to battle more often.' He said while his right hand was still clasped under his chin.
He took a glance at the System Map and still there's no sign of any zombies, hybrids, and even humans inside it. He nodded his head in understanding and sat beside Maximk.
'It looks like my previous speculation was correct.' He said confidently.
'Well, nothing could be done about it, I'll just wait for some stray hybrid and zombies to earn some points and stats in the process.'
An hour had already passed but there's still no sign of zombies and hybrids around. Croco was the same, it looks like it would still be for another day, his evolution.
He taps the surface of the face mask, as his mouth opened wide with a yawn. He was already sleepy.
'System, alert me if there's new arrival of goods. I will take a short nap.' He said with a smile plastered all over his face.
[Affirmative, Host!']
'Nice, the System should be called the Alarm Clock System. I hope my alarm clock won't malfunction, hehe.' He said joyfully as he really did went and close his eyes to sleep.
Seeing his master's action, Maximo also followed suit and lay towards the ground to take a short nap.
After an hour, an annoying buzz appeared inside Nile's brain as he slowly opened his eyes. Seeing the notification from the System, he instantly got up and prepared for an intense battle.
