It's as if the surrounding was in a slow motion. He saw the zombie's arm descending towards his neck, aiming to chop his head off.

One of his knees dropped to the ground, making it look like he was kneeling with one knee in front of the zombie.

As the arm was about a few inches away from his neck, he suddenly regained his usual self.

Instantly, his eyes turned wild as he brandished the broken sword towards the zombie's eyes.

A smile appeared on Burnok face after seeing his attack finally connected. However, a moment later, it also bulged out as the zombie's arm landed on his neck.

Fortunately, because of his sudden movement, the attack point was lowered, hence only the base of his neck was hit. Still, due to the force and pain, he instantly passed out.

He retracted the ax and aimed it towards the zombie's neck. Even if for the instance that the ax couldn't penetrate the zombie's neck due to some factors, he was confident that he would still be able to kill or at least make the zombie unable to fight due to the momentum alone.

The force from his jump, the gravity, his weight, the ax weight, and yet another force that cane from him. He didn't doubt that even if what he was using a blunt weapon, he could still kill the zombie with this attack.

As long as it hit the zombie, everything would be over.

However, what he didn't expect was that he noticed the zombie trying to turn its head towards him.
