Into The Zombie World Chapter 175

'The plan was to lay low inside the house and observe for any movement that came from the beheader. It was so peaceful. But why did this zombie suddenly emerge from the rooftop?'
Burnok grumbled as he stood up from the rubbles.
Aside from the slight pain on his chest and nape, he was perfectly fine. A Level Two° physique could be as hard as metal, depending on their stats.
Aside from really sharp weapons and very powerful force, their physique couldn't be damaged that easily.
'Pa, you said to know your enemy before attacking, right? But, what if you don't have any other option but to fight?'
'Are you gonna let me escape again while you stay behind to fend them off?'
'Isn't that what had happened to us previously?'
'Now look at us! You become a prisoner that doesn't lose a slave. While I became a mere spy that they could order around.'
Burnok brandished his sword strongly as he stared at the Level Two° zombie who sent him flying after two punches. His chest was still aching but he endured it. He could only do so.
Encountering a Level Two° means a fight must proceed. Level Two° zombies don't let their prey leave alive. Unless numerous people could make a Level Two° zombie occupied, there is no escaping it.
He couldn't even be distracted for a second, how much more escaping?
Asking the hybrids for help? That won't do. He's only an informant, not an important member.
In fact, the hybrids would love to see him die. The only command they got was to never touch the informants. It didn't mention helping them if they need assistance.
Burnok stood rooted in the spot, afraid that if he made another slight movement the zombie might attack him. He stared at the zombie a dozen meters away from him.

The zombie that he was facing has a thin appearance. It has long and elongated arms that hang towards its bended knees. Its head has the shape of an oval while its teeth housed dozens of sharp fangs at its corner. Bones could be seen sticking out on the wounds at its chest and thighs. But funny enough, it doesn't seem to hinder its movement that much.
Kreeeekkk!
The zombie bellowed loudly as its saliva showered the ground. It curled its elongated arm backward as it prepared to pounce towards him.
Hearing the shrill cry of the zombie, Burnok braced himself for the sudden impact. He couldn't afford to be careless as he knew that it signifies death. He already did earlier and he was sent flying towards here.
Whoosh!
The zombie's figure blurred and dashed like an arrow towards him. Its two hands were curled as it dashed towards him.
Burnok knows he can't escape and could only fight. He lowered his posture and made a sturdy horse stance as he waited for the zombie's arrival.
It might be fast for a normal person, but for him, it was manageable.
"NOW!"
He sweeps his sword from right to left with both of his hands.
Boom!
The sword meets with the zombie's hand causing a little shockwave to occur. Although he successfully deflected that attack, his hands were also trembling due to the force. His foot was dragged sidewards as he tried to resist the impact of the collision.
Even though he has a sword, it didn't have that much damage to the metallic arms of the zombie. It was only a normal Level Two° animal fang after all.
He gritted his teeth and waited for the impact to lower. Waiting for the right opportunity to attack.

Total concentration could be seen on Burnok's face as he sensed the strength of the collision. After feeling that it had greatly weakened, he instantly retracts the sword only to brandish it again towards the zombie's neck.
However, it was also at this moment that an elongated arm was also inching towards his head.
BOOM!
PIERCE!
The zombie was ultimately stronger and faster than him. Its attack arrived first, hitting squarely on his left ear.
Tinggggg!
A high pitch sound invaded his mind as the attack hit his ear. It's as if a loud horn was fired directly to his ear. Due to the force, his body staggered to the right.
It was fortunate that his sword was also able to pierce an inch at the zombie's neck. However, piercing an inch wound on the neck doesn't guarantee a zombie's kill.
He groggily staggered from that attack. His head was spinning and as he was about to fall down due to the dizziness, another blow was dealt towards his ribs.
Crack!
The bones on his ribs crack from the force of that punch. The zombie might have thin and weak looking long arms, but it doesn't mean it has a weak attack.
Burnok's body was raised to the air and was sent flying towards a car in the distance. The car got disfigured as Burnok's body was embedded inside it.
However, the pain from the last attack also manages to awaken Burnok from his groggy state. The moment he got embedded in the car, he instantly tore it into two before emerging from within.
A concave could be seen in his rib area. His clothes were in pieces on that side. His orifices were bleeding out profusely.
His appearance had become nasty, his sword was broken into two, the other piece was left stuck on the zombie's neck.
He spat a mouthful of blood to the ground as he pointed his broken sword towards the zombie.
He knew this would be the outcome, he just didn't expect he would also be defeated that easily on the second confrontation. And this time, the damage he took was more than doubled from the previous one.
'I thought that I had a chance, but it looks like I overestimated myself this time.'
'Ma, Pa, it looks like this will be my end. I'm sorry I couldn't save you, just like what I have vowed.'
Burnok surmised inside his head. He smiled wryly at how arrogant he had been. However, a moment later, a resolute expression appeared on his face.
'As I will die anyway, let's at least make it a hard battle for that zombie.'
