'Alright… A pointy weapon you asked, a pointy weapon you shall get.' Nile said as he transformed the sledgehammer into a sharp sword.

Slowly, he stepped out of the rubbles that were created when his feet were dragged back. He then walked towards the hybrid who also started to walk towards him.

"Ehh? Where did your sledgehammer go little brother? And where did that sword came from?" She said as she stared at the sword in Nile's hand.

The sword was over a meter long and had quite a thin blade. Its hilt was decorated with a red line coiling upwards, in a very tight spiraling motion.

He didn't answer the hybrid's question and continued to walk towards her.

Currently, they were now only two meters apart from each other.

"You not talking little brother? Did you become mute all of a sudden?" The hybrid mischievously.

Nile didn't reply and only stared at her eyes directly. A look of pity and disdain surfaced in his eyes as both of their gazes meet each other.

Suddenly, the hybrid's body trembled a little as she burst out with a shout.

"Stop staring at me like that." She shouted as her fist was being pulled back to punch the man before her.

Nile only shook his head. 'What a disgusting appearance.' He thought.

'For the first, time. I actually feel confident about my looks.' He thought.

As the hybrid had already pulled a fist, and Nile is not as fast as the hybrid, he knew that he couldn't contend with it.

Instead, he stepped back his right and firmly planted it on the ground along with the left leg on the front. He then lowered his posture and raised the sword at the chest level at the same time.

With the Instant Adapter talent's help, he wanted to use the hybrid's strength for his own.

He pointed the sword tip just exactly where the hybrid's fist would land.

As Nile's movement was too sudden, the hybrid female didn't have the time to withdraw her fist. She was startled at first but instantly recovered from it. 'Hmmmp… My gauntlet is made from the bone of a Peak Level Two° animal. A mere sword like that won't be able to pierce this gauntlet no matter what.'

However, her eyes soon bulge in bewilderment as the moment her fist and the sword collided, the sword manages to pierce it a little.

She wanted to stop but due to the momentum of her fist, she couldn't as it might cause her to stumble due to losing her balance because of the sudden shift of the center of gravity.

Nevertheless, the sword had still not pierced her skin, and Nile who was holding the sword was also getting pushed back little by little.

He gritted his teeth and endured the hybrid's forces. After a while, the momentum finally stopped after his feet got dragged to his back for over a meter.

Seeing the sword, he couldn't help but smile.

Currently, drops of pinkish blood drip from the sword tip towards the hilt of the sword.

Instantly, he pulled the sword back and retreated for a few meters. At the same time, the cut on the hybrid's gauntlet had pink blood gushing out of it.

What he was surprised though is that the hybrid didn't even flinch a little even though its fist was also wounded.

In fact, the wound had actually made her enraged.

She stared instantly at Nile and instantly dash towards him.

"I'll fucking gonna eat you!' She shouted in rage as she did her best to close in towards Nile who also keeps on retreating to the back.

Finally, the moment she caught up, she instantly made a punch towards Nile.

Nile's body trembled after seeing the hybrid's punch. Even before it arrived, the air had already reached his face. Basing on that, he knew that, that punch definitely packed a lot.

Unlike last time, he no longer wanted to confront it with the same method. He knew that if he did so, he would fly like a rocket before the sword can even pierce a millimeter on the hard gauntlet.

He ducked and dodged the hybrid's incoming fist. Fortunately, the speed of the fist was slower than before, hence the reason why he was able to avoid it with a hairsbreadth.

The fist went past his head and his scalp tingles for a moment because of it.

After successfully evading the attack, he immediately did a counterattack of his own.

The sound of a sharp object slashing the air echoed as the sword on Nile's hand went for the hybrid's knee cap.

Most of the hybrid's body was covered by the armor. The only opening he could find was the hybrid's face as well as the joints on her limbs.

Even though the Weapon of Change can really pierce the hybrid's armor and gauntlet easily, it was only the case for peak level two humans.

With his current strength, he knew that he could still not bring the weapon of change's full potential.

So that's why he wanted to aim for the joints, for now, to avoid wasting time by trying to pierce those thick armor instead.

Even though there's still a layer of thin armor there, he knew that it wouldn't be enough to stop the Weapon of Change.

"Ahhh!" The hybrid made a yelp as her knee cap was suddenly cut.

Instantly, the moment her fist arrived at the last point above Nile's head, she instantly curled it and made an elbow towards Nile.

Due to the Instant Adapter talent, Nile had already thought of the possibility for the hybrid to elbow him if he ever successfully slashed her knee cap. And he was right.

Fortunately, he was already prepared for it. The moment he felt that the sword had already cut quite enough of the hybrid's knee cap, he instantly dropped to the ground.

Above him, on his back, right below the nape, a sharp elbow was also trying to land towards it.

'Shit! I underestimated its speed this time.' He thought as his body plummeted and got smash to the ground.
