Bruno and his gang were running like crazy towards Nile. The woman followed behind them carefully not wanting to attract the attention of anyone.

Nile was holding his two swords as he recalled the Dual Wield Talent. The dual wield talent allows him to skillfully wield two weapons at the same time. The moves for the master of close combat talent also appeared on his mind.

Opening his eyes, Nile was able to see the incoming people ready to skin him alive. Nile doesn't want to let Croco's evolution end in failure due to the noises, so he decided to dash as well to meet his opponents in the middle.

Nile leapt and instantly arrived a few meters ahead. Forty to fifty meters away from him were the enraged people. Bruno was in the front, running madly, his hands were holding a dagger the same as the one that almost hit Croco's bottom.

Nile ran for over twenty meters, and he finally met Bruno. They did not waste any more time as they proceeded to slash each other.

"Where's the dagger?" Bruno shouted as he thrust his dagger towards Nile's throat.

Nile did not respond as he parried the attack with the Kriegsmesser of Agony while his other hand which was holding the Katana of Liberation reached to sever Bruno's head.

Bruno didn't get flustered as he ducked to avoid the Katana slicing his head off calmly.

It was at this moment another man arrived, the man upon getting closer, immediately swung his axe towards Nile's extended hand. Nile calmly withdrew his hand and the axe hit the blade of the Katana.

Instead of being pushed down, the Katana instead went up, deflecting the axe in the process. The axe pivoted and hit it's wielder's forehead causing it to bleed.

Twisting his grip, Nile plunged the Katana's tip towards the man's forehead as well. The Katana embedded itself on the man's forehead as he started to limply fall on the ground, dead.

Bruno then sneaked up on his back and managed to kick him on the butt, causing him to stumble forward. Bruno followed Nile's stumbling body, but as he was about to plunge the dagger on Nile's nape, he noticed that Nile actually made a front flip, avoiding him entirely.

While doing the front-flip, Nile arrived at one of the closest gang members. Not wasting his time, Nile instantly swung his blade, trying to sever the man's head off his neck.

Unfortunately, the man was able to dodge it barely by leaning backwards. He then made a kick and managed to hit Nile's stomach. However, because of the superior physique as well as the superior clothes, the man's kick did not do any actual damage. The man got flustered and at that moment, an agonising pain washed over him as he stared at the blade that was impaled on his heart.

He coughed out a mouthful of blood as he struggled to open his mouth.

"Argh-" low grunt could then be heard, before his body plunged to the ground, dead.

Nile's body moved and attacked at the same time. He was being encircled by two or more opponents at the same time. Bruno would even chime in all of a sudden, causing Nile to get loaded with attacks.

Nile was barely dodging, but he thought that it was okay as he could also kill one opponent or two from time to time. The only problem for Nile right now was Bruno, who keeps on disappearing to dodge and then reappearing to attack.

Nile was already laden with minor wounds, especially on his arms which were not covered by the level one clothes. Nile had just realised how dumb he was for choosing to look cool over having more defence for his arm.

(A/N: the mc believes that he looks cool like that, he believes that his face is only average. That is also the reason why he bought the face mask, aside from being afraid of getting stained with zombie blood.)

Before the battle started, Nile was able to check on Bruno's constitution stats points, and it was only at 10.20, Nile was stronger by .35 points. Nile thought that the System issuing the mission to escape must have gone insane to be afraid of this kind of strength.

However, a little while later, Nile was able to see the reason why the System issued him that mission. It was also stated at the Mission description.

There was a strength in numbers.

There were still 20 or more enemies left but Nile's stamina or energy is now at half.

The enemy, after hearing Bruno's order, did not attack Nile as frantically as before. Instead, they almost look like a coward as every time they attack, they will retreat immediately. Of course, not all of them have been successful, some of them had to leave their head behind before their body could retreat.

The enemy kept on harassing Nile.

Just like Nile, Bruno was also now ladened with wounds. There were deep cuts, some of the cuts were painful while the other cuts were pleasing. Bruno felt strange about this, but because of the ongoing battle, he did not have the time to check his wounds.

Bruno and his gang's numbers were getting thinner along with Nile's breathing becoming heavier.

It was good that Nile was able to buy the master of close combat talent, as, without it, Nile might not be able to last this long. The enemy's strength was weaker, it was their numbers that became problematic for Nile.

'If only Max and Croco were here!' Nile thought as he parried a metal staff that was trying to hit his ribs.

Nile's clothes were already torn, his body was covered with numerous wounds and bruises. His hoodie had already fallen back long ago. The black face mask also has a cut on the side. That cut was caused by Bruno's sneak attack, fortunately, his already averaged face did not get sliced along with the mask.

"Max!" Nile shouted while he plunged the Katana of Liberation towards a man's throat. The man smiled in relief while blood spurted out from his mouth.

Only fourteen people were left, they kept on alternating their attacks towards Nile, harassing him. Nile was running low on his energy already. Nile wanted to buy food in the System to restore his energy, but because of the constant harassment, he will not be able to consume it, so he opted that as his last resort.

Desperately, he called Maximo for help.

However, minutes passed but Maximo did not come. Unbeknownst to Nile, Maximo was also fighting a bitter battle inside the house.

Ellie was at the back of the gang when Nile and Bruno confronted each other. When she saw Bruno and Nile evenly matched, a creepy smile appeared on her lips.

She moved her body and sauntered towards the house earlier. She wanted to retrieve the dagger that she threw before, and in the process, she wanted to kill that carabao and the sleeping crocodile.

After seeing Nile torturing that trio from before, she must admit that she was scared out of her wits. When Nile, approached her, she felt terrified as she thought that Nile would torture her next. However, contrary to her expectation, Nile decided to set her free.

She thought that Nile had taken a liking to her body, just like any other man. But, after seeing Nile shut the door closed, she got bewildered as she didn't know what to do.

After knowing that Nile had really not taken a liking to her, she decided to get up and leave this place immediately. She knew that Bruno and his gang were still searching for her.

However, she then remembered something. 'That man was quite strong, as strong or even stronger than Bruno. If I could seduce him and make him mine, then I will no longer worry about surviving.'

She then formulated a plan inside her head. When she saw the two men searching in the houses, she just gained her perfect excuse to come back and get closer to Nile. Offering her body to Nile was definitely a go, she thought that it was just her body anyway. She was a prostitute in the Town before the apocalypse started, after all.

She also thought the same for Bruno, she wanted to use him as her bodyguard. At first, it was alright, but after seeing Bruno's small d*ck, she felt disgusted and wanted to leave all of a sudden. Surviving was one thing, but her conviction of never fucking a man with a small d*ck was everything.

She just hopes that Nile will be able to keep up with her, she was also hoping about Nile having a bigger 'willy' than Bruno.

When she went back and Nile decided to let her in, she felt ecstatic as she thought that her plan was progressing well. However, it all changed because of that suspicious carabao.

Recalling that incident, Ellie could not help but tremble with rage. That carabao was also the reason why she got more injured after putting a knife on Nile's throat. She clenched her fist in anger as her lips curled into a cruel smile.

Ellie was holding a long staff with a sharp metal attached to its end like a spear as she sauntered towards the house very slowly.

She doesn't want to let Nile and the other's know of her plan. She knew how strong Nile was, that's the reason she decided to escape from before, although she knew that she could contend with that carabao just fine. Right now, her stomach wound had also started to heal a bit due to the superior physique obtained from consuming dead Apocalypse Virus.

Nile and Bruno were preoccupied with each other, she knew it was the best time for her to act. She wanted to retrieve that dagger and kill the carabao and the crocodile. She would then harvest their mutated parts and bring a little meat before escaping. She did not believe in the slightest that Bruno would really fulfil the other end of the deal.

She wanted to use this opportunity to escape.

Ellie came close to the house without alerting anyone. Bruno and his gang were busy harassing Nile and Nile was also busy deflecting and attacking them at the same time.

Using the window she had escaped from before, Ellie jumped up and landed inside the room.

And just when she was about to turn and search for the dagger and the carabao, her eyes widened in surprise as her body flew back towards the window frame.
