Into The Zombie World Chapter 48

With how many times Nile has been ambushed by Level One° zombies, Nile is no longer surprised at getting ambushed another time.
Nile deflected the incoming zombie away with the handle of the Katana.
The zombie is wearing a dirty priest robe; it was thinly built and is clearly developing to an agility type zombie. Its face had a hideous wound from the forehead all the way into its chin.
At the back, Sissa is flustered because of the sudden attack.
The zombie is already back to its feet. It immediately pounced on Nile again.
This time, Nile only side-stepped a little and the zombie's figure brushed past him. The zombie collided into the chairs, breaking them apart.
Those chairs are made of thick wood, the chairs breaking apart are the best testimony of the zombie's strength.
Sissa bulged her eyes out in surprise. With the zombie's speed and strength, she will not even have a chance to struggle before getting killed if faced with this kind of zombie.
She retreated a few steps while shaking in nervousness.
"Listen, this is a level one zombie, with the strength and speed it displayed, non-evolved humans could no longer contend with it." Nile said while looking at the shaking Sissa.
He then continued, "The only possible way to kill such a thing is by evolving yourself or by using powerful armaments, but, as what I have said before, guns and other metals are already losing their functions. Even your bolo is on the verge of breaking apart."
Nile keeps on talking while evading or deflecting the zombie. Sometimes, the zombie will switch its target into Sissa but Nile will only flung it away before it comes back rushing towards him.
"You want revenge, right? Then evolve, it is the only way. You still have a long way to go..." Nile smiled. But because of the mask, Sissa could not see it.

On the surroundings, Nile could no longer see any intact chairs.
The zombie was deflected at the far corner of the room.
It stood up and roared in indignation. It pulled its hairs, causing it to become slightly bald.
Reddish saliva keeps on pouring out of its mouth.
It roared again on the top of its lungs and dash madly towards Nile.
Nile smirk under the mask. He took a step forward and kicked a one foot long wooden chair debris towards the incoming zombie.
The wooden chair debris pierced into the floor. Right at that moment, the zombie's right foot arrives just centimeters away from the wooden debris.
As the zombie took another step, it tripped over the wooden debris causing it to stumble.
Weapons Master Talent
In Nile's eyes, the stumbling zombie was in slow motion. He took two steps forward and extended his right arm that was holding the Katana forward.
Just in time, the tip of the Katana directly pointed on the zombie's forehead.
The time resumed normally. With the speed generated from madly dashing forward and from the stumble. The zombie's forehead is closing towards the tip of the Katana at a terrifying speed.
Pierce*
Like a hot knife cutting into butter, the Katana pierced the zombie's head unhindered.
'I did not kill it, it killed itself because of its carelessness.' Nile thought.
As Nile heard the notification of the Apocalypse Virus getting collected, he basked on the feeling of getting stronger.
He then remembered Sissa's expression when she was collecting the Apocalypse Virus.
No way?
Nile pulled the Katana from the zombie's head. An expression of delight and someone being liberated appeared on the zombie's hideous face.
Nile felt amused and said inside his head, 'What's with that delighted expression, do you want to get pierced again?'

Sissa on the other hand is bewildered.
Why? The zombie is strong, but why do I feel like it is suicidal? Why did it put its head on the tip of the blade?
Sissa did not notice the wooden debris on the zombie's foot, it was that tiny debris that caused the zombie's downfall.
Nile flicked his arm swiftly that is holding the Katana of Liberation, and the blood that is coating the blade of the Katana is successfully shaken off.
He then put the Katana of Liberation on its Saya again.
Nile turned his head towards Sissa. She is still shaking lightly. Nile moved closer towards her and said, "Are you alright?"
Sissa nodded her head. She is alright, but the shock she receives right now is immense. Only now did she realize again how dangerous it was.
The other shock she felt came from Nile. Nile is already so strong, but he is still willing to help Sissa.
Sissa also realizes that she still has a long way to go.
Sissa felt really grateful. Nile already helps her to awaken from that pit, and now Nile is helping her again.
Her eyes became cloudy as she stared down at the ground. She then braced herself up and said, "Thank you, Nile."
Nile is surprised at first, but he gets over it immediately.
"No worries! As I said, just survive!" Nile said.
He then continued, "As you've seen, Level One° zombies are on a different scale compared to the one you fought before. Avoid them as much as possible."
Sissa nodded her head as she wiped the tears that were forming on the corner of her eyes.
As the chapel is clearly not suitable for resting, they move to a small house close to the chapel.
The sky had already turned into a slight orange as the sun was preparing to settle down on the west.
Sissa had already rested enough. They are now on the way to the Village Hall.
"Oh yeah, how about the Apocalypse Virus inside that priest zombie?" Sissa asked curiously.
"I have already collected it!" Nile answered as a matter-of-factly.
Sissa is bewildered, "When?"
"That time when you are not watching." Nile said.
"Alright!" Sissa noticed that Nile is being secretive, so she let the matter go.
After walking for a few minutes, they arrived at the dimly lit Village Hall.
As they got closer, they heard loud noises coming from inside the Village Hall.
As Nile pushed open the enormous door, what he saw was a bunch of people eating a feast.
They are eating the loot which Ombit and the others collected earlier as they circled around the small bonfire.
There are empty packets everywhere, may it be an empty packet of noodles, or empty plastic bottles. It was everywhere.
They are having fun eating while they talk. The four trolleys of food did not last for even a day.
No one noticed the new arrival, Nile and Sissa.
Even though they may look like partying, Nile could see that they are not happy. There was a trace of despair and helplessness on their faces.
Nile searched around and did not find Ombit's group in this gathering. He reckons that they go upstairs earlier.
He beckoned to Sissa to follow him as they also went upstairs. Sissa's aim of going back here is to bid farewell and express her gratitude to the Village Captain and his companions.

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.

World Labyrinth
Meet our hero: an average young man with an average life, who ended up dying while working an average job. However, he's a given a chance to see another world at the final crossroads of his old life. The catch... well... he knows there's one. There always is. But, hey, when you're about to die, you take whatever opportunity's provided to you. This is the young man's story in the new world as he learns he can't afford to be average anymore. AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've decided to put this note up due to some comments and ratings left for this ORIGINAL FICTION complaining its boring. This story starts slow and it takes time for things to pick up. Also the MC doesn't start off as superman or become superman magically in two chapters. He also is AVERAGE... so it takes time to build up his character. Starting chapter 14 or so things pick up, but this isn't a pure hack and slash and skills level up story like most of the FF on this site. Just giving you a warning, so you don't end up disappointed and end up having to post large paragraphs complaining about the story... I also post on average every TWO OR THREE DAYS, so you'll get more to read.
