Into The Zombie World Chapter 25

Carrying the sledgehammer over his shoulder, Nile slowly moves towards the center of the area.
While doing so, he killed all the zombies that he encountered. He killed them with a smash of his sledgehammer.
Level Zero° zombie's bodies are so fragile. With only one smash, even if Nile will only rely on the weight of the sledgehammer, their head will directly explode into mush.
Luckily, the weapon had the automatic function of collecting Apocalypse Virus because if not, Nile thinks that he could no longer collect any Apocalypse Virus as the brain would explode everywhere after just a smash from his sledgehammer.
A Town comprises many villages, Malibo Village was just one of the many villages that are under the jurisdiction of the Town of Daan. A Village consists of many hamlets, and Hamlet Palma was just one of the many hamlets under Malibo Village.
Every village has their own Elementary School, but only a handful of them have a High School. Colleges are rare in these places. Colleges could only be found in the Town or to the more urban areas like the City.
Malibo Village has their own Elementary School and High School.
Every Village also has their own Village Hall. It is the place where village officials do their things. Every Village Hall is also the outpost of the Local Police, or what they called here as Tanod.
Tanod don't have the authority as those of the actual Police. They are more like the residents of the area hired to conduct some searches and guard duty for the locals.
Nile's destination this time will be the Village Hall. Although the school was supposed to be the place with many people, in the current situation, that was not the case.
As the outbreak of the first virus spread. Just like some facilities, they also shut schools down during that time to slow or stop the spread of the virus.
The reason that the Village Hall is Nile's destination was because, at the Village Hall, there should be stockpiled relief goods that are supposed to be distributed to the people in every hamlet that is under Malibo Village.

Before the Apocalypse Virus or the Second Virus, the Cure Virus strike, the First Virus is already spreading for a month. This affected the livelihood of the people.
Another reason Nile wants to go there is because of the population.
The Village Captain and other Village Officials usually live near the Village Hall. Only a handful of them live in other areas, just like the Councilor that lives on the periphery of Hamlet Palma.
As Nile noticed before, even the Councilor has that small mansion, and many workers under him. Shouldn't that also be the case for other officials?
He might also encounter another Level One° zombie. He just hopes that no Level Two° zombies pops out of thin air.
...
Host: Nile
Level One°
Will: 6.61
Body: 6.11
Strength: 6.11
Energy: 6.11(6.0)
Weapon:
Level One° Sledge Hammer
Talent:
Level One° Weapons Master
A.P.: 42.0
L.P.(Level Points): 0
This is now what is shown at Niles status.
Nile manages to kill many Level Zero and half-step Level One° zombies along the way. He also killed one Level One° zombie that had the same strength as the zombie Councilor from before. And the battle with that zombie? Mehh, a single smash with the sledgehammer is only what it takes for its head to curve in, killing it directly.
His stats point increase by 0.06, he killed a Level One° zombie for the 0.05 increase, while the 0.01 increment must be from the accumulation of dozens of Level Zero° and Half-step Level One° zombies that he had killed.
'So, it is not because Level Zero zombies would no longer give me stats points increase after becoming Level One°, it's just that the increase is so minute that only after I killed so many do my stats points increase by 0.01.'
...
Nile looks at the extravagant Village Hall.
It was big.
The building is three stories tall. The whole building was painted with a white color. In Nile's previous world, this could already become a Municipality or a Lungsod's Hall.
Nile notices that there are bodies of zombies at the front of the Village Hall. Some of the zombies' heads were split, while some had their heads separated from their bodies. Nile thinks this must be the doing of the humans. Level One° zombies are not capable of such stunts yet. He could not be sure of Level Two° zombies, though.

He asked the System, but it looks like the System is not all knowing.
About the origin of the Virus, the System stated that it is not sure if it was intentional or not. However, the System reassured Nile that it was really because of the mutation from the first and the second virus that it created the Apocalypse Virus.
Although some of the zombie's head was split by humans, after some observation, Nile saw that some of them were the doing of zombies. Hence he concluded that there might really be a Level One° or stronger zombie inside the Village Hall.
Nile did not go inside the Village Hall immediately. He did not want to make the same mistake twice.
Nile circled the Village Hall, he maintained a 50 meter distance away from the Village Hall while doing so.
He scouted the area around the Village Hall, including the many houses around it.
After a few minutes of scouting, Nile killed 8 half-step Level One° zombies, 22 Level Zero zombies and 1 Level One° zombie. Making his Apocalypse Point increased from 42 to 62.
This also further confirms that there is a powerful Level One° zombie at the Village Hall, considering that there are half-step Level One° and a Level One° zombie at the periphery of the area.
If they are not controlled, they should have already killed each other and Levelled into Level One°. And the Level One° zombie should have already killed all the weaker zombies around it.
With these Apocalypse Points, he could buy another Weapon or another Talent, but he knew that that would be wasteful.
He bought some items from the System that can protect him if ever he is ambushed, just like the case of the zombie Councilor from before.
He bought a Level One° shirt, a short and a pair of shoe. These clothes can also be considered as his protection.
Level One° Short Sleeve Hoodie (Red with black side stripes)- A Short Sleeve Hoodie that can withstand an attack of Level One° zombie for a few times. Can clean itself.
/20 AP.
Level One° Jogger Sweat Short (Black with white side stripes)- A Jogger Short that can withstand an attack of Level One° zombie for a few times. Can clean itself.
/20 AP.
Level One° Running Shoes (Black with red side stripes)- A Running Shoes that cannot be pricked. Can withstand an attack of Level One° zombie for a few times. Can clean itself.
/15 AP.
He bought them all. Amongst all the apparel displayed in the Apparel Store. These three are listed at the middle of their respected section.
And with these, his Apocalypse Point is back at the single digit again. What a spendthrift. Well, it is worth it though.
After buying them, his current clothes are immediately replaced by the ones he had just bought.
Touching them, he knew that they are made from excellent materials, even though he is not an expert on materials, he can tell the quality of them just by touching.
As for their appearance, it's wonderful. The color is vibrant.
Nile doubted the apparels defensive capability that is supposed to withstand the attack of a Level One° zombie. He tried hitting his chest with a 'little' force to test its defensive capability.
Like the hardness of a metal. Nile could feel the sturdiness of the Hoodie with that hit.
It is so magical. While wearing them, Nile felt that they are so soft, hence making him doubt its sturdiness.
But after hitting the hoodie, the doubt he had earlier vanished away. It was the same on the short and the shoes.
They were as hard as metal.
For the others, they might only really use them as defensive clothes or items, but for Nile, with his Weapons Master Talent.
They could be more lethal than lethal weapons themselves.

It was the day in which everyone that was fifteen years old was given access to the System and was given a ‘Class’ depending on your aptitude, two if you were exceptional and lucky. It was his hope that he was given at least one class worthy of becoming an Adventurer, which would help him start his path to a life of wealth, fame, luxury and pleasure. Being an orphan that never knew his parents and having no one that he cared for nor that cared for him, it was not surprising that these were Michael’s goals. First and foremost, I must apologize as this story is currently on an indefinite hiatus. School, my main project, and writer's block have gotten in the way. I was rather unprepared when I began posting this and kind of just did it on a whim. Thus, I shall ensure I am thoroughly prepared before posting anything else, but I plan to return to this someday to conitnue it. What better retirement plan for a scumbag than to become a demon? Whether he likes it or not, that's Berrick's only choice. Heaven thinks hell is getting a little lukewarm and Berrick is just the guy to heat things up again. Follow Berrick as he works for home and hell as one of the few Egg Guardians. Author's note: Are you looking for bad writing, terrible dialogue, short chapters, and slow releases? Then you've come to the right place! This is honestly just something I'm writing for fun and figured I'd publish while I'm working on my main project, but I always appreciate constructive criticism so I can improve.
