Pain all over his body!

This is what Nile is feeling right now. In fact, it was much more that he can no longer have a word to describe it. Nile felt that the pain he got earlier when inheriting the memories of the previous Nile was only so so.

This pain reminded Nile that he is still a human being.

Even with the System's quick method of getting stronger. He is ultimately still a human. He can still be hurt. He can feel other emotions. It did not disappear.

Just like the novels he had read, he thought that upgrading to Level One° will be as simple as, 'Wait for a few minutes. Your purchase is being processed' and then Voila! You are upgraded to Level One°.

Right now, Nile was being slapped by the hard truth.

The pain of his bones shifting. The pain of his muscles shrinking. The pain of his flesh getting cut, stabbed and then repaired. Nile felt it all.

Imagine having all of your muscles experience a cramp at the same time. This was only one of the pain that Nile felt right now.

Nile now regretted having a stronger 'Will'.

Throughout the entire 'Ordeal' of upgrading, he only fainted twice because of his stronger 'Will'. But Nile wishes for more fainting, he even wished that he had fainted all the time.

Experiencing the excruciating pain, and then you felt relieved for fainting. But not a minute will pass and you will be awoken again because of the same excruciating pain.

What is torture? This is torture.

Atlast, after five minutes of torture.

'Congratulations my ass. You said I will only experience a little pain, was that a little pain? What is painful to you then?' Nile grumbled inside. He felt that he was being mistreated by the System.

'I demand a System Repatch'. Nile jokingly protested.

No need to lament what was already done.

Nile got up and glanced at himself in the mirror.

After five minutes, Nile was already on the floor. Because of so much pain previously, he can only roll and roll til he dropped on the floor. Scratching, stretching and squeezing his whole body has he rolled because of the pain.

In the mirror, he could see his own reflection. His hoodie was already ragged and torn because of the scratching that he had done previously. Nile decided to tear it apart, completely exposing his naked upper body.

If previously, Nile's body was like a hulk, now Nile's whole body had shrunk by more than a half.

Lean and muscular, chiselled in perfection. A six pack abdominal muscles protrude on his stomach with perfect proportion. His both arms are also perfected, with both biceps and triceps in perfect sync. His chest was also the best it could be, with some breast tissue under the areola.

Turning around, he could see his muscles on the shoulder blade area. He flexed both of his arms. He imagined seeing a demon face being formed by the muscles on his back, but it looks like it was only wishful thinking.

He turned his body and faced the mirror again. His 'inspection' would only be completed after seeing his legs. He directly tore down his pants, and the only thing that remained on his body was the black underwear and the black shoes.

Just like his upper body, his lower body was also chiselled in perfection. Nile could see muscles protruding a little on both of his legs.

'Perfect! The pain was worth it.' Nile reassured himself. This is the kind of body that he wishes to obtain. The lean muscular type.

His previous dislocated arm was obviously already fixed. All of his injuries seem to have also healed.

He felt glad that the pain only lasted for five minutes, at least that was what the System said, because for him he felt that an eternity had already passed.

'Status' Nile remarked inwardly, and inside his head, words formed instantly.

After killing the Level One° zombie Councilor, his Apocalypse point now totalled 43. With these points, he will only fall short after buying his desired weapon and talent.

Even if his Body, Strength and Energy only had an increment of 0.1 from his previous stats of 4.9. With these 0.1 increments, Nile felt that his strength is so much more stronger than before.

A Level Zero° with capped stats at 4.9 could not be compared to a Level One° with 5.0 stats. This could no longer be quantified as a mere 0.1 increment. Nile felt like he was on another Level, on another 'Life Order Level'.

Of course Nile was right, becoming Level One° means he has already unlocked all the limiters that a Human Being has. It means that right now, his body was already back to its purest state.

His Level Points also now have 1 on it. Level Points are like free attributes on games. A player can distribute it manually in any of his stats.

With Nile's current stats, there is no other option, he will put his Level Point towards his body stats. On his System interface, only the 'Body' and 'Will' could be added to Level Points.

As Nile's 'Will' is already stronger than his 'Body' he does not want to make the gap even further, as it will not be beneficial to him. Although having a stronger 'Will' means he can think faster, have stronger mind and willpower, if his body could not cope up with his thinking. It will not pose any meaning.

Just like what had happened previously, his 'Will' had already performed a dodge, but his body could not cope with his 'Will's' thought, and instead fell short getting struck by the Level One° zombie punch.

After adding the Level Point to his 'Body', a tingling sensation covers his whole body. Just like the time when he could still get an increment of stats after collecting the dead A.V..

This is what Nile's status interface looks like after adding his one Level Point into his body. With his body becoming stronger, his strength and energy also comes along with it.

Now, the gap between his 'Will' and 'Body' stats is only 0.5. This is now much better than the previous gap of 1.5, even though his 'Will' is still stronger than his 'Body' it is only a slight margin and will be manageable.
