Into The Zombie World Chapter 10

At the last part of the sentence, even though he was only reading, he can clearly imagine the System's eagerness to continue its operation.
'So that is why I felt like my hands moved on its own earlier, the System controlled it for my sake. Damn, here I thought it was my fighting sense that acted up.' He thought as he asked another question for the System.
'System you said that you decided to control my hand earlier, does that mean that you can directly control my body anytime you want?'
Thinking of those System's that can control their Host, he was terrified at the thought of his System controlling him permanently.
[The Host need not to worry. The System can assure the Host that the System won't seize the Host. The System will only take control of the Host body if it has the permission, or when the Host is in a perilous situation. The System was programmed that way, Host.]
'You always said that you are programmed that way, but who programmed you, System? And how did you end up inside my 'Will' in my previous life?' He asked the System inside his head.
[That Host… The System could not answer that question ,as the System itself does not know the answer of that matter. But the Host can rest assured that the sole purpose of the System was to aid the Host on his journey to become strong at this zombie world.]
After reading that, he finally lets out a heavy breath. He could only trust what the System said for now.
Now that he already has a basic understanding of the System, he wanted to explore the other functions of System first, before exploring the outside world.
Because the System has its own store, he no longer needs to go into the Councilor's house to get some weapons. He has a message for his friends outside though.

'The zombies outside, just you wait there calmly, I'll be with you soon' He thought as his lips formed into a grin.

Stats?
He doubtfully said after trying many different keywords that he thought might work. But this time, the word 'Stats' appears to be the right one. As inside his head, a line of text appeared and lined themselves automatically.
Host: Nile
Level Zero°
Will: 2.5
Constitution:1.0(0.5)
Energy: 1.0(0.5)
Talent: Nothing!
Apocalypse Points.: 0.5
L.P.(Level Points): 0
After reading his current status, he nodded his head as finds them to be reasonable and pretty accurate.
The 'Will' is certainly stronger than the rest of his attribute points. He knows that he has inherited the memory of the previous Nile, it means that both their Will had combined into one, making it stronger compared to his body or constitution. Maybe it was the System that combined both their Will, he didn't mind it a bit as he knew that it's an advantage for him.
He felt grateful and guilty for the previous owner of the body that he had occupied now.
He vowed that if there's anything that the previous Nile wants, he will gladly do it as a form of compensation. But after searching his memory, the only regret the previous Nile have is not having stocked more food before the apocalypse, resulting in nothing to eat, that leads to his demise.
He only shrugged his shoulders at this, he also needed to eat anyway, the previous owner's regret was in line with his plans.
In normal cases, a person;s Will should be the same with his/her Constitution and Energy.
'My current Will is now at 2.5, considering the other stats to be at 1.0, I could only assume that the Will that came with me from the previous world had the stats of 1.5. Now that I think of it, what must be the strength of the Will inorder for it to resist the Apocalypse Virus?'

He knew how normal he was from the previous world, yet he still has a Will of 1.5, he thinks that having 1.0 still falls to the category of being a weak Will. And yet for the previous owner to resist the invasion of the Apocalypse Virus was quite confusing. His head was aching a little so he instantly went and asked the System for the answer.
[In order to resist the Apocalypse virus, a person must need at least 1.5 of Will.]
'I see. But how did the owner of this body resist the invasion with only 1.0 Will?'
'Maybe it had deteriorated after becoming a sissy? That must be it. Or maybe the mutation of Apocalypse Virus that he got was weaker compared to others.'
He sighed in relief as don't know what would happen if he ended up transmigrating into a zombie body.
'Luckily' Nile thought.
'So 1.0 is my base stat right now, with the exemption of my 'Will'.'
As the said 'Will' is housed inside the brain, and the brain was housed inside the head that was part of the body, it was easy to understand that if the body was strong the same could also be said towards the 'Will'.
The Constitution was the container of the Will, as the Constitution becomes stronger, the Will residing it could also improve and become strong as well. The only exception here would be Nile himself as he has a stronger Will compared to his Constitution due to the combination of the present and his previous life's Will.
In fact, he is feeling lucky right now. Because of the System, his body didn't explode due to him having a stronger Will than usual.
Just like coconut crabs for example. They need to move to different shells everytime they have already outgrown it. If they don't then they could only endure the tightness and low space inside the shell.
The Constitution could be said as the foundation of everything, with a stronger Constitution comes the expansion of the 'Will', with a stronger Constitution comes greater strength.
'The 0.5 beside the 1.0 must have come from the fact that my body is not in its ideal condition. It might return into full after I've rested and eaten enough.'
In other terms, he was still weak right now. But with enough food, he knows that it will surely return over time.
And this time, he knew he would become stronger than before.
