Into The Zombie World Chapter 7

Inside the house,
The terror that he felt outside was still present inside him. Luckily, he acted in time and dodged appropriately. He even managed to stab the zombie in the head at the last second.
But because of the commotion they caused, they attracted the attention of the other zombies, as they started walking limply towards Nile's location.
At the moment, Nile was inside his house and trapped yet again. Fortunately, he acted logically and managed to pick up the handbag that he intentionally dropped earlier. If not, Nile might face another food problem again.
Nile could not forget the hideous-looking teller zombie that he had witnessed earlier. Panic and terror was all on his mind during that time. Luckily, the zombie turned its body away. That momentary turn from the zombie enables him to regain his clarity.
...
After a few minutes of being dazed, Nile finally calmed himself down.
He thought that it was inevitable; he should have expected it already. The moment he got transmigrated into this world of zombies, he should have expected that sooner or later, he would experience horrifying and terrifying things.
Nile pondered and decided to revise his plans. The outside world was more dangerous than what he had thought; he almost died of shock just because of some basic zombie.
After a few moments of thinking about what he should do next, Nile was suddenly interrupted by something. He was frozen still by this sudden turn of events.
In front of him, no, it should be. Inside his head, rows of texts suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
[System Upload Completed!]
[System Bind Completed!]
'What?' Nile widened his eyes and could not believe what he was seeing. Ecstasy directly took over his shambled emotion earlier.
Nile calmed down and accepted the reality immediately. Considering the fact that he had transmigrated here, Nile thought that having a System is not that weird.

'Of course, that's more like it. I should also have my own golden finger'.
(A/N: Golden Finger means cheat or a handicap provided by the 'God' for the mc or something like that.)
Nile was gloating from ear to ear. But he did not willow on his happiness for long. He decided to inspect this so-called system first.
Inside his head, the text from before was no longer there. Nile feels uneasy and even thought that it was only his imagination. If it was just a hallucination, Nile doesn't know what to do anymore.
Based on the novels he read before, Nile asks inside his head. 'System?'
[...]
Close and open brackets appeared in Nile's head. Nile felt elated seeing those[...], the close and open bracket had just confirmed the reality that he indeed has a system inside his head.
Excited, Nile eagerly asks the System inside his head.
'What is your name? Or what are you called?'
[System!]
Nile waited for a few seconds and confirmed that there is no other text after that. 'So this system is only called 'System' and doesn't have a name of the sort?'.
'System, right? So what can you do to help me?'
Based on the novels he read, there are different kinds of systems.
Some systems only calculate for the host, there is some kind of system that is omnipotent, there is some system that has its own store hosting magical products that can be of use to the host in exchange for some sort of points, there is also a system that indirectly or directly controls their host.
Nile only hopes that the system inside his head is not something like the latter.
[System can provide the host instructions on what the host needs to do to become strong. To survive, the Host needs to get stronger as this world will only get crueler as time goes by.

Because of the Apocalypse Virus, the world is in chaos. Apocalypse Virus is a virus that attacks the brain of the person it attached to.
But there was an exemption. Apocalypse Virus could not directly affect those people who have a strong 'Will'.
The Apocalypse Virus will enter the brain of the living and will attack the said 'Will' that is located at the centre of their brain. If successful, the person will die as a result.
After the Apocalypse Virus destroys the 'Will', the Virus will live on the person's brain while slowly eating it away.
The Apocalypse Virus will then give the dead person's body an instinct. It was the instinct to attack the living and continue to infect more.
Of course, this was only true to the most basic zombies. Or the Level Zero Zombie's that is currently outside the Host's house.
At Level One, the Apocalypse Virus is now done hibernating and has already managed to eat all the person's brains away. The Apocalypse Virus during this time already had the full control of the person's body.
The Apocalypse Viru...

"Stop! Stop! Stop!"
Important things should be repeated thrice.
Nile scrunched his brows and used his hand to massage his aching forehead. He could not help but feel dizzy by the amount of information that appeared as text inside his head.
Nile took a deep breath and started to reread the text from the start.
'I see, I see!' Nile keeps on nodding while he reads the text once more.
According to the System. This virus is called the Apocalypse Virus. This virus is like a parasite that resides in the brain of a person. At first, it will attack this so-called 'Will' that is protecting the brain of a person. If the attack is successful, then the person will die, and the Virus will be able to take control of the person's body.
However, before they could control the body, the Virus must enter some kind of Hibernation period, just like a caterpillar moulding to become a butterfly.
Nile nodded his head in understanding. He then urges the System to continue on where it left off.

Unwitting Champion
"In stories this is always easy. There's magic and powers, and quick steps to claiming that power for one's self. This doesn't feel true for me. I'm supposed to be a Champion, whatever that means, and yet I don't feel important. I don't have all the bells and whistles, which honestly feels familiar even in a new world. But what was I expecting? I haven't had the worst life - there are people with worse problems than mine - I've known what it is to struggle, to be pulled down instead of being helped up.This is nothing new."When in great peril, the Kingdom of Althor has no choice but to send a call into the void, beseeching the Fates to bring them a man who would save them from the coming darkness. Unfortunately the path the Fates chart is often unknowable to men and the Champion who appears is not what the kingdom expected.Unwitting Champion is a story of a guy displaced, dealing first and foremost with trying to survive in a world where he is no longer a person but a tool, and - at least from the reaction of those around him - a shoddy one at that. His major goal is to survive long enough that either he can run or find a way home, because as exciting as the possibility of learning magic might be, he would rather have a boring life than a short life.

I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room
The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it."Absurd. Existential. Ridiculous. Tragic. Comic. The antiheroes of "I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room" are a kind of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with space packs, inadvertently colliding with their destinies against a starry background of witty wordplay. With a vision as sprawling and limitless as the loveably goofy universe in which it's set, Browning's wit, wisdom and heart are always at play, combining to form a wonderfully panoramic and very silly heroes' journey that visits every trope of its overlapping genres and draws moustaches on all of them."- Marcel St. Pierre, author of "Vengeful Hank" and "Cliché and Wind Go Hitchhiking".(Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed!
