Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 340

The next day.
No matter how many times I replayed the Memory Bead, I could not find anything new. So I could only come to one conclusion: I needed to become much stronger than I was right now.
So, after having breakfast, I accessed 'Revival Legend' right away and started hunting again in the level 1500 hunting ground Land of Titan.
What about the level 1300 hunting ground I obtained the right to use from Japan's Mitsuya Guild? Well, there were many others who could hunt there instead of me.
There was something only I could do. In other words, I had to train myself to become stronger so I would not be pushed aside by 'that man' the killed guys mentioned when he appeared on Earth.
In fact, I should be strong enough to defeat him, not just strong enough to not be pushed aside by him.
That's why I kept hunting there continuously for over two weeks.
When I was on the cusp of reaching level 1300, a message rang to everybody, not just me.
[Hello. This is 'Revival Legend'.
-We would like to inform you of some other changes.
-Coins will be dropped with a certain probability when monsters die in all hunting grounds.
However, the number of coins the monsters will drop depends on the level of the hunting ground. The higher the level of the hunting ground, the more coins monsters will drop with a higher probability.
-Due to the above change, the death penalty that exists in the level 1300, level 1400, and level 1500 hunting grounds will be applied equally to all other hunting grounds.]
"…"
Even general monsters dropped coins in the level 1300, level 1400, and level 1500 hunting grounds. Of course, the dropped coins were only a few and could not compared to the coins that were awarded after events or quests
However, it was a huge advantage that I could obtain coins by killing general monsters regardless of whether the dropped coins were many or small.

Furthermore, the users could collect the coins only when the monsters died instead of directly receiving them as they did in events or quests. In other words, they could have a specific person collect all the coins. That was why they were engaged in a fierce battle to secure level 1300 or higher hunting grounds.
Of course, there were some risk factors.
For example, the cooldown for accessing Revival Legend again upon death increased to a whopping seven days from one day, and there was also a massive drop in EXP as a penalty.
In particular, since access to the game was banned for those below level 100, nobody knew when those below level 200 would be banned. Because of this, seven days of access denial and a massive drop in EXP was really a huge risk.
And moreover, there was a further permanent drop in stat points between 1 and 10 per death.
"Hmm. The fact that coins are dropped even in low-level hunting grounds means that the overall capabilities of 'Revival Legend' users will increase…"
No matter how frightening the penalty was, the bottom line was simply that one should not die under any circumstances. For example, they could hunt at a slightly lower level hunting ground, or if that was not available, they could hunt in a party.
The fact that coins were dropped by all monsters meant that the number of coins circulating in the market would increase a lot, which would obviously create a foundation for the appearance of stronger players more easily than now because of the overflowing coins.
At that moment, a message rang again.
[To commemorate the coins being dropped in all hunting grounds, the 'Collect More Coins Than Others' event will be held in three days.
-This event will determine who collects more coins dropped by monsters during the one week duration of the event.
: Coins acquired through other events or quests during the event period will not be counted.

:Coins acquired through exchange with others will also not be counted.]
"Hahaha!"
I couldn't help but smile at the message because this was an event made for me.
The place I was hunting right now was the highest level hunting ground, a level 1500 hunting ground, and my hunting speed would still be faster even if ten of hundreds or even more banded together and hunted in a party.
Of course, I had some concerns. In other words, the bottom line was who collected more coins dropped by the killed monsters, not who killed more monsters.
For example, if someone like the guild leader picked up all of the dropped coins after having his guild members hunt in the hunting ground monopolized by a giant guild, it was possible that somebody could collect more coins than me. I was 100% certain that this would happen.
But I wasn't worried because I had a solid supporter who could use the same tactics for me.
Anyway, I came to such a conclusion, and began to hunt again when another message rang.
[The 'Collect More Coins Than Others' event, which starts after three days, provides a hunting ground suitable for your level through the signs located in each city or castle for the fairness of the participants.
- Coins acquired only in the provided hunting grounds are counted.
- The number and probability of coins being dropped across all the provided hunting grounds are the same.]
"Uh?"
It was an absurd message, but I thought it wasn't bad.
I even thought it was an advantage to me because this event was for individual participants, and I had never been defeated by somebody or lagged behind somebody in a one-on-one match.
After confirming the message in satisfaction, I continued hunting again.
In the end, the event would take place three days later, which meant that there were still three days left until the application deadline.
In front of Kotum Castle the next day.
Kotum Castle was once crowded with a lot of users.
However, it was very quiet now because new users were blocked, and even users below level 100 were blocked from accessing without any prior notice
Those below level 200 were busy hunting because they didn't know when their access to Revival Legend would be banned.
So I moved to the central square of Kotum Castle along the quiet road, and soon I could see the sign mentioned in the message.
When I got closer to the sign, a message rang.
[Would you like to participate in the 'Collect More Coins Than Others' event?]
"Yes."
[You have chosen to participate in the 'Collect More Coins Than Others' event.
-We're currently checking the current level of Lumen, Asirante.
-Stat points, skills, items, etc. are the main subject of evaluation, and once we have evaluated your levell, it will become impossible for you to change your items within the provided hunting ground.
: Do you still want to proceed?]
"Yes."
Since the application period started yesterday, I had already heard something about this, and I fully understood why this was the case.
Some players might purposely not equip their usual items during the evaluation, which would lower the level of the hunting ground they would be assigned to. In such hunting grounds, it would be easy for them to hunt and subsequently obtain more coins.
Anyway, I knew about it already, so I proceeded with the items I originally wore.
Then a message rang a little later.
[The appropriate hunting ground for Lumen, Asirante's level is a level 2700 hunting ground.
-A level 2700 hunting ground will be provided to you during the one-week event period.]

Just the story of Karl who will become a strong and rich noble (or perhaps better) after being reincarnated into a fantasy world. *The summary may cause irrational hate for an unknown reason* *Greatly inspired by korean novels* *This novel is maybe written in Engrich* *Probably not very original* *Certainly not meant to be well-written* *Invisible Dragon is perhaps better than this novel* *Nobody forces you to read so you are reading this at your own risk* *You are supposedly not supposed to read this novel* *You read this and didn't like it? No problem*

8 131The Rules of Dungeoneering
The First Rule of Dungeoneering: This will kill you Sylvester Bayes, the 4th son of a small baron, has suddenly had his head filled with the memories and work of someone who had dedicated their life to memorizing every dungeon they could find and designing a new RPG system. Not about to waste these gifts, Sylvester quickly sets out to get rich quick and discover the reasons behind his sudden knowledge. (Please note, this is dressed up actual play from my testing of a tabletop RPG. It is actually how the game has gone and there is a very real chance that anyone, including Sylvester, could die in any encounter. To help make my job easier I am using dungeons written by other people, which is why I have listed this as a fanfiction. I put links to all of them in the chapters where they are relevant.)
