Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 149

In the distant future, everybody will have access to information easily, but right now it is special information that is hard to obtain. So, I carefully increased the actualization rate in increments of 1%.
As I was increasing my actualization rate, I didn't fail to check my inventory, skills, and status window.
But as I reached 2%, 3%, and even 4%, I honestly couldn't feel any physical change.
That was the problem for me because my main stat is Intellect.
At the moment, I really felt frustrated. And it seemed that I wasn't the only one who felt so.
"Compared to physical changes that are easily apparent and reveal their presence with substantial force, non-physical changes..." Director Sok said, leading off at the end.
However, I fully understood what Director Sok was trying to say but couldn't because it was the exact thing I felt frustrated about and complained about.
I even thought that I should have chosen strength, agility or stamina as my main stat.
But I shook my head because my actualization rate was only 4% for now, and I still have a lot of coins.
Of course, I'm going to increase my actualization rate as much as possible today.
I do not intend to ignore the popular adage, "if you keep something for too long, it will spoil' since I know how important this actualization of reality is. It was just like how I used skills with long cooldowns first normally so I had the chance to reuse them later on.
I made such a decision because there it was unlikely that an accident that I did not think of would happen today. My father, brother, sister, and Director Sok did not object to my decision.
Instead, they encouraged me to do so.
Anyway, I was absorbed in increasing my actualization rate by 1% every time until a message rang when I reached 5%.
[Your actualization of reality rate has reached 5%.
-Skills available for use in reality will be listed in the skill list window.]
I immediately logged out after confirming the message and quickly opened my mouth because maybe it's finally time for me to witness my non-physical abilities.

"Check skill list!"
[List of the skills you currently possess.
1. Level 3 Ice Ball. (Level 1, 2, 3)- active.
2. Level 3 Ice Bolt. (Level 1, 2, 3)- active.
3. Level 3 Ice Weapon. (Level 1, 2, 3)-Disabled.
4. Level 5 Ice Shield. (Levels 1, 3, 5, 7)-Disabled.
:
:
13. Level 4 Blink. (Level 4, 6)-Disabled.
14. Level 4 Ice Storm. (Level 4, 7, 8)-Disabled.
: Currently level 7 Ice Storm with the effect of the functional skill ring.
15. Level 5 Ice Rain. (Level 5)-Disabled.
16. Ice-type skill cooldown reduction. (Passive)-Disabled.]
Before, the skill window did not open in reality.
However, this time, the skill list window finally opened in reality, and each skill had the description, "active" or "disabled."
Of course, the word "activated" means that it is currently available.
So, I immediately informed my Dad, "A message popped up that I could use my skills at 5% Actualization, and Ice Ball and Ice Bolt are now available."
As soon as I said that, my Dad, brother and sister, as well as Director Sok opened their eyes wide because they knew that it was groundbreaking to be able to use skills in reality.
Anyway, right after they heard my explanation, my family members and Director Sok busied themselves for a bit because they needed a test to confirm what I said. And the basement study was suitable as a place for the test.
Actually, it was the Myongjin Construction Company that first built my house. They then reinforced it later, so my house boasted of a stronger outer wall than that of a high-rise building.
Soon, a strong wall which connected to nothing was in front of me, and I used my skill at it..
"Ice Ball."
Bang!
"..."
"..."
"..."
Honestly, I was curious about how skills would work in reality.
Besides, I was slightly concerned that the skills might be weaker in reality than I thought, especially because I had only a 5% actualization rate right now.
However, the Ice Ball I cast cleared my worries by destroying a certain chunk of the concrete behind the exterior wooden surface of the wall.

Of course, I wasn't the only one surprised by the skill's power.
Everyone in the basement study, including my dad, couldn't shut their mouths, amazed by the power of the Ice Ball.
At that moment, my sister suddenly said, "Well, that will kill someone right away if it strikes them."
Like she said, it showed a destructive power that would instantly kill anybody it hit directly.
Moreover, that wasn't all.
What I used was ice-type magic.
Thin ice, like frost, formed around the area where the Ice Ball hit.
Anyway, after showing them such a shocking scene, I continued to increase my actualization rate by using coins, wondering how my skill window, status window, and inventory would change.
A message rang when I reached exactly 7% actualization.
[Currently, the maximum actualization rate among those who have 'level 1200 Privilege-Reality Actualization' is 7%.
-Lumen, Asirante is currently previewing the 'level 1200 Privilege-Reality Realization.'
Therefore, it is impossible to increase the actualization rate above the maximum actualization rate holder until you achieve the true privilege after reaching level 1200.]
"..."
As soon as I checked the message, I felt really frustrated and disappointed because I
still had more than 90,000 coins left, so I could raise my actualization rate up to 37% if I had no restrictions.
However, there was nothing I could do for now, so I logged out immediately with lots of regret.
After, we were done with the tests to confirm the ability of the 7% actualization rate.
Of course, we conversed a little more in the basement study, and concluded that we needed to collect more golden rings even if we needed to sell some of the goods and services of the Myongjin Group.
Obviously, our main target was coins, but we could not obtain coins easily even if we wanted to.
So, we had no choice but to pay attention to golden rings with which we could exchange the coins, like they did in the United States, China and Russia.
Anyway, the meeting lasted until late at night, so I slept in my house instead of going back to my studio. But I couldn't sleep easily because my heart was still beating rapidly.
The next day, I woke up late because I slept fitfully.
At first, I was thrilled, but now my worries and confusion grew.
In fact, at first my heart was pounding because of the thrill, but as time went by, I gradually grew more and more concerned and worried because when somebody had power, they naturally wanted to express it, which would obviously lead to the collapse of the order and laws that maintained our society.
In other words, there was a high possibility that there would be more serious troubles from now on than I originally expected, and it might be something similar to the great chaos found on a battlefield.
Of course, I am confident that I would not be swept away by such chaos.
I was rather confident that I can calm my surroundings instead using my powerful Ice abilities amid the big chaos
"In the end, I have to become more serious and stay alert if I don't want to be swept away by the upcoming chaos. First of all, I need to reach level 1200 as soon as possible."
At first, my immediate goal was to reach level 700, but as of yesterday, I had no choice but to change it to level 1200 because I could not be content with this simple preview forever when I currently had a mountain of coins unable to be used.
So, I woke up right away because I had no time to idle in bed.
At that moment my mother called me.
"Juyoung, have breakfast!"
My family members could not wake me up when they found me deeply asleep, so they ate first. So, I had breakfast alone late at 10 o'clock.
Sitting across the table, my mother kept asking me to chew well, and my sister kept asking me questions while I was eating.

Haven in a Dangerous World (Old)
Devin McMullen. Female. 18. Single dad. Dead mom. Good in fights and little else. No friends. Or, at least, that's what she's always been. Now, she's not sure exactly what she is. She's never been one for reading fiction, or anything for that matter, but this feels like something straight out of a fantasy. Her newly acquired instincts, however, scream dungeon core. Whatever that is. Unlike most dungeon cores, though, she's missing something very important. A dungeon. Stuck out in the open, above ground where she's definitely not supposed to be, with not a cave in sight, or any other land form besides miles and miles of ice and snow, Devin's not sure if she can survive. Update: Big caveate, though, just so you know. Started with this one idea and ran with it as far as I could. Characters and plot suffer from it, but I'm proud that I wrote as much as I did. I will rewrite this at some point and make it so it actually has plot. Check out my wordpress © [koallary] and [Haven in a Dangerous World], [2017].
