Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 148

So, I quickly got up and prepared to head to my house in Cheongdam-dong.
The matter was too grave for me to keep to myself.
Moreover, even if there are not many at this point, there are certainly a few users who have achieved level 1200. However, the fact that they are so quiet means that those guys who have reached level 1200 belong to giant guilds or powerful groups interested in the game. Obviously, it seemed that they wanted to hide it from others as much as possible as if they were waiting for the day of great chaos.
So, I went outside my studio dressed roughly, then called my sister right away.
Since I talked with her just a little while back, she answered my phone right away.
"What's up, brother?"
"I'm coming home now. Everybody is in the house now, right? Dad, too?"
"Right now? Yeah, all of them are here, but just come tomorrow. It's your elder brother, not me, who received the marriage offer."
My elder brother, 35, was 10 years older than me.
Although men tend to get married late these days, it's high time my elder brother got married.
In fact, he received a marriage offer in his early 30s, too, but he put off marriage because he had to devote all his time and energy on "Revival Legend" after the Myongjin Group heard all the rumors about it. In the end, he kept putting off his marriage because of the game.
"I know, but I've got something very important to discuss with Dad."
Since I decided to be careful when I called or messaged someone, I just generally described my situation like that.
However, what I said to her implied urgency, and she immediately noticed it.
She answered immediately over the phone, "Okay, let me tell Dad about it. Don't rush! Take your time. Got it?"
"Okay."
Although I was anxious to tip her off in advance, I hung up the phone for now.
At my house in Cheongdam-dong.
Perhaps because I called my sister in advance, my father, sister and brother, and Director Sok were already waiting for me in the basement study.

As soon as I met them, I immediately told them about the level 1200 privilege that I obtained.
The matter of my brother's marriage offer was certainly important, but my level 1200 privilege was more important than that for now.
"..."
"..."
"..."
Because I had organized my thoughts in the taxi, I had no problem putting into words what happened to Dad, brother, sister, and Director Sok.
However, they seemed to find it hard to accept.
Although I was done explaining to them, none of them opened their mouths for a while.
Of course, for them, it's hard to believe, but no one raised any doubt or objection because I was far better in the real world now compared to what I was before.
Anyway, after a while, Dad opened his mouth first.
"Is that the reason why the coin transaction ability exists at level 1100?"
I also knew that it was possible to exchange coins between those at level 1100 and above.
In fact, there was one who achieved level 1100 in the Myongjin Group.
I just didn't have any interest in it because the commission fee was 1 million golden rings per coin. For example, to exchange 1000 coins, a whopping 1 billion golden rings would be required for a commission fee.
If it was not the commission fee, but the money for me, I would be happy to receive it, but it was not, so I didn't pay much attention to it.
At that moment Director Sok responded, "The value of golden rings has been steadily rising in the United States, China and Russia. I felt it very strange that it was rising because there was no reason for it to go up. Come to think of it, it seemed that they had already grasped the existence of the level 1200 privilege. I'm sure they clearly know about it because there is a considerable gap between us and them."
"Hmm..."
When Director Sok presented his opinion, my father groaned, resting his chin on his hand.
After that, we talked about the level 1200 privilege and other stuff for a while.

Fortunately, I had a lot of coins.
So, it was possible for me to reach almost 40%, and not stay at the very low value of 1% or 2%.
Of course, I wouldn't do it all at once because what I'm doing now will be very valuable information for Myongjin in the future.
Whil Juyong Hong was explaining the level 1200 privilege to his family members, there was a new development in those countries who had a stake in 'Revival Legend.'
Obviously, within the "Revival Legend," it was impossible for players to come and go between countries because of the so-called channel or wall. So, they usually didn't meet each other with a few exceptions like the 4th Anniversary event or certain quests.
However, at that moment where Juyoung took the first true step within "Revival Legend', a man appeared in Kotum Castle which Juyoung sometimes visited even now.
Shuuuuuung.
He suddenly and naturally appeared as if he logged in.
So, all the users in Kotum Castle did not pay any particular attention to this man.
Although the man looked like a typical Westerner from his brown hair, white skin, prominent nose, and deeply slit eyes, anybody could have such a figure in the game by simply changing their appearance.
Anyway, the man who showed up in Kotum Castle took a deep breath and opened his mouth quietly.
"Huh. Only now have I landed in Region 53. How unlucky I am!"
Region 53. Obviously the word he uttered referred to none other than Korea.
At that moment, a group of people appeared.
They said to the man lamenting he had no luck, "Oh, you are here finally, Pablo."
The man was called Pablo by the group of people who appeared.
The man named Pablo nodded naturally, as if he already knew they were going to show up.
He said, "Okay, so I guess you are the liaison guys. By the way, I'm sorry. I had no luck while I was coming here."
"You don't have to apologize. You haven't kept us waiting long at all."
Perhaps there was a significant gap in status between the group and the man named Pablo, so they used honorific language when they spoke to him.
Pablo, who had been speaking to them informally, said again, "Alright, let us stop exchanging pleasantries. I think you have already found out Asirante's whereabouts, right?"
"Yes, sir. Asirante hunted in the Sabre Steel Tooth Tiger Habitat just before completing the level 500 arena quest. Given his movements after that, I think he will continue hunting there in the future."
"Who is managing the hunting ground? Is it Daeyu?"
"No, sir. The hunting ground is under the Myongjin Group's control."
"Myongjin?"
"Yes, sir."
"What are you talking about? Isn't Asirante currently affiliated with Daeyu?"
"It is true that he is still with Daeyu Group, but it was impossible for me to find out why he came to hunt in the hunting ground under the Myongjin Group's control despite this."
"Hmm..." Pablo groaned for a moment, unable to understand the situation.
"Is he a cunning guy?"
"..."
The guy who answered Pablo's questions on behalf of the group remained silent this time.
He thought he only had to tell his boss only the facts, so it was impossible for him to conclude whether Asirante was cunning or not simply by watching him hunt in Myongjin's hunting ground as a member of Daeyu.
Pablo immediately opened his mouth as if he didnt expect a response to his question anyway.
"I rather wish he was cunning. Cunning guys are greedy without any exception. Good. Then, let's go there."
"Yes, sir! I will escort you there."
So, Pablo naturally mixed in the group and moved to the Sabre Steel Tooth Tiger Habitat.
Obviously, Pablo was not a member of the team representing Region 53.
However, he broke through the 'wall', and appeared on the "Revival Legend" server called Region 53, or Republic of Korea, as if he had some business to do with Asirante.

Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
