Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 77

As they say, conversing with the enemy is a luxury. Moreover, I had already gotten rid of the Gahwa Guild completely. So, although I desired to strike first, I still responded to his question politely to fuel his misunderstanding that my name was indeed Asirante.
After confirming my identity, he asked another question.
"How did you know about it?"
"About what?"
"The mineral mass."
"Oh that thing. Why do you think I should not know about it? You also know about it, right?"
"Good. It seems I'm not going to receive an answer from you. Then, let me ask you one last question. How much did you receive from Myongjin by selling that information?"
"About 100 billion won."
Of course, I didn't receive even a single won, let alone 100 billion won.
But when I thought about the value of the mineral masses in the distant future, I thought that it was worth at least that amount when I combined it with all the rewards for clearing the quest I was originally supposed to to receive and the additional rewards I received from the city's name changing to Asirante.
Of course, depending on who heard my answer, the amount I mentioned might be taken as a joke. But the man in front of me seemed to take it sincerely.
"Good. Congratulations. I don't think that's bad for a severance pay."
"What did you say? Have you mistaken this for severance pay?"
I was not stupid enough to not know what he meant by severance pay.
He meant would not allow me to play "Revival Legend" again.
I understood his meaning clearly, and this gave me a legitimate reason to fight against his group.
Moreover, I had nothing to hide now that he confirmed I was Asirante.
I immediately shouted out my first strike because I never wanted my opponents to take the initiative in a fight .
"Ice Field! Multiple Thin Ice!"
Pasasasak!
"Asirante's Ice Field is not a typical Ice Field!" exclaimed Soktae Kang, the only one in this group who had experience in fighting me before. He shouted as soon as he heard the Ice Field.
However, the remaining 63 people remained unaffected..
Instead, they moved calmly and in an organized fashion following the orders of the man who just talked to me.

"Destroy his skill with the same type of skill. All enchanters and AOE mages, start attacking him now! Tanks and melee attackers stand by until his Ice Field is broken. Then charge at him right away!"
"Yes, sir! Rocking Earth!"
"Fire Field!"
"Shoot the enemy! Thick Earth Spear!"
"Increase his weight until it hinders his movement. Increase weight!"
"Slow. Slow."
"Let darkness blur his eyes! Vision Loss!"
"Triple Shot!"
" Fire Spirit's anger!"
"Bind the enemy, Thorns of Pain!"
"Chain Lightning!"
So there were a total of 64 fighting against me now?
I was confident in destroying them all. I had fought against a larger number of enemies recently. Although I could not annihilate them all, I killed 300 out of the almost 700 Gahwa Guild members and won overwhelmingly.
Of course, I knew they were simply common people because Soktae told me at that time before we started our fight. He said he didn't recruit the strong men on purpose.
However, the numbers 300 and 700 were large enough to make me confident in fighting a large enemy. That's why I was confident in beating these 64 men. Of course, I knew that they were not a mere rabble of incompetents although they were small in number. Soktae would not come with these people unless he was confident since he clearly remembered his crushing defeat with even larger forces at his command.
And I could confirm clearly that they were not simply common people from their agile movements, battle skills, and use of debuffs in particular.
[You are afflicted with Weight Increase.

-10% debuff resistance from Elsha's robe, pants, gloves, and boots is applied.
-You are not affected by Weight Increase.]
[You are afflicted with a Slow.

-10% debuff resistance from Elsha's robe, pants, gloves, and boots is applied.
-Your movement is 4.1% slower than usual.
-This will last for 360 seconds.]
[You are afflicted with Vision Loss.
-The opponent's Intellect is superior to yours.
-10% debuff resistance from Elsha's robe, pants, gloves, and boots is applied.
- Slight Vision Loss is applied.
- It lasts for 600 seconds.]
I hadn't been affected by a debuff recently because before wearing Elsha's armor provided me with 10% debuff resistance and my Intellect was higher than that of the person who cast the debuff.

Sometimes my Intellect was so high that I was simply unaffected.
But these people were different. Their Intellect was all higher than mine, no matter by how little. Nonetheless, thanks to the 10% debuff resistance of Elsha's armor set, I was not weakened by Weight Increase, though I was hit by Slow, which was embarrassing because this was the first time in a long time. Like the modifier "slight" suggested, Vision Loss didn't affect me enough to cause a big hindrance in this battle.
But it was true that I was a little more tense now.
From examining their debuffs, these were clearly the strongest people I had ever dealt with.
Of course, the intense battle between us took many forms.
For example, the ground underneath my Ice Field reinforced with Thin Ice was shaking and eating at the Ice. And that was not all.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!
If the previous sound of the long-rooted sapling monster's roots attacking my Ice Field was a rumble, this current sound was a roar. A huge spear was created out of the earth and started crushing my Ice Field from below.
In the meantime, the Fire Field was burning intensely to melt my Ice Field.
But something was wrong.
"Uh? Weight Increase did not activate? What happened?"
"Vision Loss is effective for only 600 seconds? And its effect is only slight? How is this possible given my high Intellect?"
"Does this make any sense? No matter how many layers of Thin Ice is reinforcing it, how is this Ice Field so hard?"
"We have already attacked him with seven different skills! Isn't he a wizard? How come he is standing there undamaged?"
My Ice Field had a strong defense against their attacks.
Of course, it was covered with cracks, dents, and burns, but it was not destroyed anyway. It suffered multiple attacks but survived them all. Besides, I also strongly blocked the several simultaneous attacks targeting me, which made the enemies feel embarrassed given their initial confidence in easily killing me.
Now it was my turn to attack.
"Ice Blast! Pouring Hailstones!"
Puck! Puck! Puck!
Pitter-patter! Pitter-patter!
I used Ice Field, which just now withstood the enemy's powerful attacks, and Pouring Hailstones to use as a magnificent sacrifice for Ice Blast, which I always paired with it.
"Kuuuuuuuuh!"
"Damn it! This Ice Blast explodes so quickly!"
"Damn! It's speed of explosion is not the issue! This is not the Ice Blast that I know! Besides, what the heck are these hailstones?"
"Everyone, wake up! Tanks, stand at the front! Healers, heal the tanks! Use all shield skills!"
"Nothing can penetrate me! Indomitable Will!"
"Iron Wall!"
"Mega Shield."
"Fire Shield."
If they were the type of opponents that I had previously fought, they would have already fallen to these two AOE skills.
But they were different. But not all of them were tough.
Eleven of them were killed by a shower of Pouring Hailstones and Ice Blasts without being able to defend themselves.
However, there were still 52 left. This was not a small number.
"Spread your attacks widely! His AOE skills have a wider range than we expected!"
"Got it!"
"Sure!"
They then surrounded me in a circle instantly. Although I sized him up roughly, the leader of this group was very competent unlike Soktae Kang, the Gahwa Guild's leader, in terms of his tactics and strategy.
And he continued to shout his orders.
"Tanks! Don't sit idle stupidly like that and make way for the melee attackers to attack this guy before his cooldown for his AOE skills come back up! Healers and enchanters, help the tanks!"
"Got it! Buffalo's Rush!"
"Heal them all, Breath of Healing!."
"Bless the Thick Earth!"
Obviously they had never mounted powerful attacks against me until now.
Their attacks usually fizzled out even before reaching me. Faced with Ice Field, Pouring Hailstones and Ice Blasts, they attacked me from a safe range from fear of being killed without a chance to escape.
By showing them that they would be killed helplessly even with the help of healers and enchanters if they got close to me, I wanted to make them realize clearly that their leader's decision was wrong.
