Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 28

She suddenly glanced up and down over me with a sad eye and said, "By the way, it looks like you must have had a hard time…"
"Ugh?"
I was embarrassed by her unexpected words, but I knew immediately she reacted like that because of the items I was wearing. In fact, the items I was currently wearing were quite inadequate for a Level 100 user to wear, no matter how poor I was.
On the other hand, my sister was gorgeous. Even at a glance, I could see she was wearing expensive items.
"Well...."
Of course, my sister misunderstood my position. I had enough money to match the best items befitting my level, but I just didn't feel the need to do that.
"I wish you had told me about it early on."
"Well… I didn't feel like it was that inconvenient."
My conscience stung a bit due to her sympathetic response. But if I showed her the 100 million-plus golden rings I had, I also had to show her my status bar and other stuff. Then, I would have to tell her about the bizarre experience I had during the closed beta period and vacation. So, I kept it to myself.
At that moment, my sister, who seemed to have misunderstood me a lot, grabbed my palm as if she shook hands with me, and said, "Exchange."
[Super beauty has requested an exchange.
-Would you like to accept it?]
"Why?"
"Accept it quickly."
"Uh… Accept."
I had no other choice but to accept it because she misunderstood me so much that I could not reject it.
[Super beauty has given you 10 million golden rings.]
"Uh?"
10 million golden rings were quite a lot. But she did not end there.
[Super beauty has given you 8.45 million golden rings.]
"Daddy has given you 10 million golden rings, and let me give you 8.45 million golden rings."
I was surprised by her 845 million golden rings, but I was even more surprised by my father's 10 million golden rings. So I had to ask back right away, "Dad?"

"Yeah. After you went back, I talked with Dad. I told him you're playing Revival Legend."
I couldn't help but feel my heart sink at her words. I didn't want to be caught playing games by not only my mother but my father in particular. As if she read my mind, my sister said, "Oh don't worry. He rather likes that you are playing games, especially Revival Legend."
"Really?"
I was dumbfounded by her unexpected reply because I could not understand for the life of me why my father would like me to play games.
"That's enough. You don't need to know the details. But I would like to tell you that not only Mom and Dad, but also your brother and I fully support you playing games, especially Revival Legend."
"Why?"
I had no choice but to ask back in a loud voice because I could not understand how my family members including my father could support me playing games fully, aside from them liking it.
"You don't need to know about the details yet. You will find out in due time. So, do your best without caring about us. If you need anything, tell me."
"..."
I was still puzzled by her reply, but I felt good anyway because I didn't have to be bound by my secret vow that I would devote everything to the game until I reached the point where I wouldn't look back at all later, completely sick and tired of it.
And then a message rang once more.
[Super beauty has given you the Ice Emperor's guardian sword.]
It was an item I had never heard of. The name itself felt unusual.
"You won't be able to wear it for the time being, but I brought it to you because I want you to be motivated to work hard. Of course, it's a problematic item. It's an ice-type weapon, but it's rather cumbersome for a wizard to use. Um...I would call it a necessary nuisance."
After that, my sister let go of my hand and said, "How about shopping with me?"

"Oh, no thanks. Let me check and match it one by one."
"Good. I'm leaving now. My team members are waiting for me."
"Okay."
She got up from her seat, then walked a few steps. She looked back at me and opened her mouth, "By the way, Dad is playing this game, too."
"What?"
"Not only Daddy, but Brother and Mom too."
"Why?" I was more surprised.
"You don't have to know. So, do your best. You can't be left behind. Not only my family, but also a lot of people related to us have a stake in this game."
"..."
At that moment, Daesung came to my mind. Since Daesung was already doing this game business, it was no wonder that Myongjin Group, led by my father, would also show interest in it.
"One more thing. If you get a quest, don't ignore it and try to solve it by all means. If you don't have one, try to find it. I'm really leaving now. Call me sometimes regularly."
Then she left the cafe. I didn't leave because she confirmed that not only Daesung, but also Myeongjin Group, my father's company, paid lots of attention to this game.
'Is there any hidden agenda here?'
I was puzzled at the moment, but I didn't think about it too long because no matter how worried I was, I didn't think I could get the answer.
So, I first checked the items I received from my sister.
"Check items."

Each item had a grade. Five grades in total. Namely, General-Rare-Precious-Legend-Myth, in that order. And the highest-grade item I owned was preciousness, which I obtained during the 3rd closed beta.
At that time, I was told that several legendary items were available, but I had never seen it with my own eyes. But right now I possessed a Myth-grade item with a tremendous number of options, which I had never possessed or seen.
However, while checking the details, I noticed something strange. Obviously, the ice-based skills are wizard skills of fire or wind elements that are mostly affected by Intellectual Power. That's why the use of the Ice Emperor's Guardian Sword was limited to 7,000 or more pure Intellectual Power, regardless of the level or the number of skills. In other words, the weapon was reserved for ice-typed wizards with Intellectual Power as their main stat.
Regardless of the other options of the Guardian Sword, the options for increasing the stat were Strength and Agility, which I understood well.
However, I was puzzled by what was written at the bottom.
Namely, the physical attack power of 8,999 and magic attack power of 899.

Leveling Up Is Better Than Reality
If you've ever been called a slacker, you know, it's not that you're lazy, it's just that you're not interested. Your values don't allow you to work hard as you wish to live in a heaven-like world where you don't have to do anything. As Gandhi said, ""Be the change you wish to see in the world...'' Wise words indeed. This story's about lazy- I mean an idealist hero named Zellin living in an RPG-like world. I'm going to deem this work as PG-13, but you never know...

The Last Death Mage
Since time immemorial humanity has always feared and shunned what it didn’t understand. Over time this changed a bit to encompass things that didn’t conform to their thoughts and ideals. Due to humanity’s stubbornness with which the enforced their ideals many lives were lost and changed. When humanity first clashed with monsters and the beings that use magic, this trait caused many bloody fights. Over time the fights escalated into battles and full on war on several occasions. Humanity due to their adaptability and persistence won many of these altercations, causing huge casualties to the magical beings. Humanity did not come out unscathed however; many of the empires and civilizations noted in human history fell due to these battles and wars. Eventually over time humanity and the magical beings came to a sort of agreement. Magic and the beings associated with it faded into the background of history, being relegated to myth and legend. Humanity meanwhile advanced leaps and bounds once magic faded, leading to our current level of civilization. Not all magical beings were content with this, thus they did their own actions and killed or fed on humans. This has led to many organizations to be formed concerning this, on both the side of humanity and the side of magical beings. They regulate and control the use of magic as well as protect humanity from the darker things that are now not but myth to them, but there is a reason humanity instinctually fears the dark. Unfortunately there are always those that are unsatisfied by the status quo, and those that are prejudiced against things that are different. This is a story of a young man who wanted nothing more than to be normal. Unfortunately Fate and the world he lives in do not easily allow that this, thus his life changed, not for the better. Everyone has heard of or read stories about monsters and legends, heroes and villains, this is one such story. Hi, this is my second attempt at a story here, the first was before the major overhaul happened and i lost everything related to that story due to PC troubles. I hope you enjoy this if you dont please leave some constructive criticism in the comments. An Editor and the like will be needed, but I will edit as problems are pointed out and as i proof read. This story will have no set schedule, unless of course I decide to type up a bunch in succession then i will note that in a chapter beforehand. ADDED NOTE: most sexual content will be in Interludes or sub chapters with a .5 attached. Profanity and gore however shall be plenty in the actual story, though the descriptives for the gore may be added later. (For example, in the prologue that gave a hint at what happened to the MC, will be enhanced so that the gore invokes more descriptive/complete mental pictures, though it may wait.) ~Tyroth Gideon

UNSPOKEN
Unspoken is a book filled with poems and songs I've made throughout my life. Each chapter will be either a song or poem. They are similar to what many of you have experienced in life... featuring love, heartbreak, loneliness, etc. These are all the emotions I was never able to let out so I chose to write them out on paper.
