Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 21

I realized in three days why I needed a plan to get the best efficiency out of any work.
Since I liked games, I wanted to play more and more, even though I had been playing a lot already.
But I was not a machine. I had to eat, pee, poop, and sleep.
Since I had to reduce even the minimum amount of sleep, my fatigue continued to accumulate. So, I could sleep only on the third day.
On the first day, I played the game for over 20 hours, almost 19 hours on the second day, and less than 10 hours on the third day because I was exhausted. The time I spent sleeping was valuable.
But I knew that I could not become a game addict only with my determination.
I needed a schedule to be a wise and efficient game addict.
So, I made a better regular schedule than the one I made when I was in the Marine Corps. And I was satisfied with it because it showed the typical model of a game addict who devoted most of their day gaming.
By drawing the schedule like that, I could say confidently in the future that I did everything I could as a game addict.
Anyway, after dinner, I surfed the Revival Legend homepage before accessing the game, mainly focusing on things about Forgotten Legend.
I soon realized that whenever anything about Forgotten Legend was posted on the forums, it disappeared in less than a day. Sometimes it disappeared in less than an hour.
"Hm. Does the homepage host delete it?"
Of course, the first thing that came to mind was the man who managed the homepage.
But I shook my head quickly because this game was already notorious for the host's negligence.
And if he needed to delete the post quickly, all he had to do was make it impossible for anybody to submit posts with keywords like Forgotten Legend.
"If the host is not responsible, then it must be the users who composed such posts.
Then why do they delete their posts immediately after spending so much time composing them?"

Of course, there were not many posts on the bulletin board.
I could only confirm three posts about Forgotten Legend with my eyes.
Moreover, the posts were not worth mentioning either.
All of the posts were about boasting that they played Forgotten Legend, the closed beta version of Revival Legend.
They also mentioned their experiences, so I could confirm their EXP.
The maximum level I achieved was Level 300, which I obtained in only two weeks during the third closed beta.
Originally my goal was to achieve Level 300 in a week. And I wanted to boast this time because I was too different from the old me back then.
I thought I could easily reach Level 300 in a week.
In fact, on the first day of Revival Legend, I achieved Level 56 after all, all told.
However, the required EXP increased tremendously starting at Level 51.
I could not help but be puzzled by that.
But I could understand it after checking out the article by a man who played Forgotten Legend in that situation.
About 10 times. According to the man, there seemed to be a tenfold difference.
Of course, his point was quite understandable.
Forgotten Legend was a closed beta with a time limit in the form of a test, while Revival Legend was an open game with no time limit.
Moreover, based on my EXP at the time of the closed beta, I could really reach Level 1000 or more in a few months.
Of course, my EXP didn't really matter.
I can confidently say that my speed is faster than anyone else.
In any case, I put aside an empty coffee cup and closed the Revival Legend homepage, because it was time to start again. And this time, I'm going to achieve Level 100.
"Execution!"
Lying comfortably on the bed, I ran the VR adaptor. I set the alarm at 1 AM to continue being a wise game addict.
"Check status."
[Name: lumen
Level: 98
Kills: 0, Deaths: 0]
"I think I can achieve Level 100 before I log out today."
I felt like I could achieve Level 100 easily because I had more than five hours until 1 AM.

Of course, I could hunt right now on the hunting ground that gave more EXP than this Golem Habitat because the collaboration between Iceman and Mutual Growth greatly boosted my abilities.
As my level would not make a big difference in a couple of hours, I just decided to take Golem Habitat as the hunting ground.
Anyway, my goal in the Golem Habitat was Level 100.
'Shall I start then?'
So, I majestically stepped into the Golem Habitat. And whenever I met stone golems, I fired Ice Ball and Ice Bolt. Naturally, I stabbed stone golem bodies with the long sword Ice Weapon in my right hand for speedy hunting.
How much was I into hunting after I achieved Level 99?
[Quoooh!]
A fairly loud voice was heard not far away. As soon as I heard the voice, I knew immediately that the boss monster in the Golem Habitat had appeared.
Of course, I had never confronted it before.
During the third closed beta, I avoided only the boss monster in the Golem Habitat, but also all the other boss monsters because it was pretty tough for me to achieve Level 300 and the number of users decreased as time passed.
Eventually, I was the only one left in the end.
In other words, I couldn't afford to enjoy the contents of the boss monster raid in the third closed beta, unlike the first and second. But now the situation is different.
"Huhhhh."
I immediately turned to the place where the noise came from.
Of course, I had no intention to hunt it by all means. There was no chance that I could hunt it alone because no matter how great abilities I had, I would use all the items I earned at Level 99, short of Level 100.
But I could throw Ice Ball or Ice Bolt at it from a distance, ready to use Ice Shield that I had not used until now, just in case of an emergency.
In that case, I thought that I could obtain lots of EXP or my share of items if I was lucky.
To say the least, my Ice Ball and Ice Bolt were not a mere Level 1, just like how I was not a common ice-type wizard at Level 99.
"Stand back, everybody!!"
"This is a boss monster managed by our Sungchang Guild!"
"Attacking the boss is the same as attacking our guild!"
Anybody who hunts first owns it.
This is the general game rule I know of because there are no monsters that appear with a name tag, crying that they are owned by somebody.
But that was not observed here.
Of course, I saw some users stopping others from approaching a hunting ground with special items called 'Control', or a hunting spot with good EXP experience, and hunting only among themselves in other games.
However, I only saw it. I'd never experienced it personally.
When I actually experienced it, I could not help but frown.
Moreover, only three were yelling at the surrounding people and discouraging other users from entering it when they did not even scream and attack the boss monster at all. They were telling other players not to touch it as if it were theirs.
"Damn it, son of a bitch!"
"You bet. Did they rent the hunting ground? Why are they just yelling at us, claiming the boss monster is theirs whenever it appears?"
"You know the place where the golden wolf, the bonanza boss monster owned by Sungchang Guild, appears, right? I heard they lost it to Daesung. After that, the Sungchang guys came as far as here to claim their ownership of the boss monster."
"Really? It looks like Daesung is seriously trying to gain the upper hand."
"Yeah. Since Daesung has moved, crap guilds like Sungchang have to stay put."
"Wow. I want to enter Daesung too. But why is a large company like Daesung Group investing in games like this?"
