Five days had passed since Eros left the human world. The only thing Selene knew was he went to the Angel's Agape Realm to meet Mother Angel Sienna.

Levi had been there watching over her but she felt strange. She was used to seeing Eros by her side. She felt a little bit awkward in Levi's presence.

He was also too formal. If they had time Levi was asking her about Renz. He was interviewing her about the level of their relationship.

She somehow felt uncomfortable talking to Levi about her complicated relationship with Renz. There were things she couldn't tell him like how her feelings for Renz were slowly fading because of Eros.

She just answered every question of Levi casually. Then she would listen to his advice. Levi was too focused on how he would be able to help her win Renz's heart.

But little did he know, Selene had already changed her mind. She didn't have time to think about Renz since her mind was already occupied by Eros.

She had to admit that she was missing him every day. She wondered if he was just doing fine. She was waiting for his return almost every day.

The Anderson Family Mansion would never be the same without Eros's presence. His laughter, his warmth, his scent, his voice, his smile… she missed everything about him.

That's when Selene realized that she had already developed feelings for Eros. Being apart from him, she was slowly discovering how strong the attraction she had for him.

She knew she was not supposed to feel this way. Eros and Selene were two different beings. She's a human and Eros is an angel. Renz should be the man for her.

But she could no longer deny it. She was acknowledging her true feelings now. It was so hard to fight it.

Now she understood why she couldn't stop nor control herself from kissing Eros even though she had her fiancee, Renz. She had fallen for him unknowingly.

She didn't want to be unfair to Renz anymore. She was hurt when she saw Renz's video but she had to admit that she was no different because she was also cheating on him by letting Eros kiss her.

She had made up her mind. She would talk to Renz and confront her. She would also be honest with him.

Meanwhile, aside from Selene, there was also another person in the house who was worried and unhappy since Eros hadn't returned yet.

Azrael didn't expect that he would also become so attached to Eros. He missed his presence. They often argued or teased each other. But without the other's presence, the world was too peaceful and silent. He didn't like it.

Azrael was watching TV in the living room together with Sach. He had a downcast look on his face. He sighed countless times so Sach couldn't help but observe him silently.

"Uncle Azrael, do you have a problem?" Sach asked him curiously with his innocent eyes. He was taking a sip on his milk while staring at Azrael.

Azrael heaved another deep sigh. "Don't you miss your Uncle Eros?"

Sach shook his head as a response. "No. Why?"

Azrael narrowed his eyes after hearing his response. "What a heartless kid," he murmured.

"Nothing!" He responded.

"Do you miss Uncle Eros?" Sach asked him back with a wicked grin on his adorable face.

"Cough! Cough! Cough!"

Azrael choked on his saliva because of Sach's direct question. He would never admit that he missed Eros. It was too embarrassing for a man to say it out loud that he missed another guy.

"Why don't you follow him, Uncle?" Sach suggested nonchalantly before averting his gaze back to the television.

"Where did he go again for vacation?" Sach added.

Azrael raised his eyebrow. As much as he wanted to know what was happening to Eros, he couldn't leave there.

What if Zaki was just lurking around the area? He might take him away as soon as he was spotted by him.

Besides, Eros left him a very important task of ensuring Selene's safety at all times. Levi might be there but Eros was still counting on him. He promised Eros that he would do it.

"Sigh, I knew it. There is no point of talking to a child," Azrael murmured to himself.

After a while, Selene joined them. Azrael's eyes scanned Selene from head to toe. He could see that she lost some weight again.

She hasn't had an appetite lately. It seemed that she was craving Eros's home-cooked food. Then she would kill her time every night working on her project just to divert her attention.

Azrael shook his head helplessly. 'If Eros returns and sees Selene like this, Levi and I might get scolded for not taking care of Selene.'

"Selene, are you okay? You don't look well."

Selene looked gloomy. The dark circles were visible under her eyes.

She nodded her head, giving Azrael a faint smile.

"Azrael, do you have news about Eros?" Selene could no longer hold it in. She came down to ask Azrael, hoping he knew something.

She was simply asking Levi from time to time but he didn't have any idea. He tried contacting someone in the Angel's Agape Realm but no one wanted to talk about Eros. He had no idea what was happening to him either.

Now, Azrael was her only resort left that could connect him with Eros. The two were very close.

But to her disappointment, Azrael answered her with a slight shake of his head.

"I haven't heard from him since he left."

"Do you think… Something bad happened to him? Maybe he got in trouble." Selene's face was painted with worries and concerns for Eros.

"He said he would come back soon. But… five days… had passed."

Selene was fighting the urge to cry. Those five days without Eros seemed like eternity filled with loneliness. She felt helpless.

Azrael stood up and walked closer to Selene. He patted her shoulder to comfort her.

"Don't worry. I know Eros. He will not break his promise. If he said he would come back then he would definitely come back. Let's just wait for him."
