Levi was not able to answer Azrael's query since he immediately rushed inside the house to ask Eros personally.

Sach just watched Azrael in amusement after seeing Azrael running upstairs to see Eros. The little boy just shook his head helplessly. He just proceeded to his room.

Meanwhile, Azrael just arrived in front of Selene's bedroom. He knocked on the door, interrupting the two people who were still kissing inside.

"Selene, Eros? It's me, Azrael. May I enter?" Azrael announced his presence. He couldn't wait to talk to Eros and find out what was happening.

On the other hand, Eros and Selene reflexively stopped kissing after hearing the knock followed by Azrael's voice.

Eros crumpled his face because of the interruption brought by Azrael. He glanced at Selene with yearning and he touched her lips using his fingers.

"I think we should go downstairs and meet the other cupid. I guess Azrael has something to ask of me as well." Eros tried his best to plaster a smile on his lips even though he was reluctant to leave her.

Selene hugged him tight for one last time before they stood up and came out of the room. Azrael was waiting for them outside the moment Selene opened her door.

Azrael grabbed and pulled Eros right away upon seeing him.

"Eros, what is going on? Why does another cupid appear to take your place here? Are you leaving?" Azrael asked Eros with a serious expression on his face.

He looked like a lover being betrayed right now the way he was questioning Eros.

Selene's heart constricted again as she heard the word 'Leaving'. She didn't want Eros to leave but Mother Angel Sienna needed him so he had to go.

Selene knew that Eros needed to follow the order. He also had some other duty to fulfill being a cupid. One of them was to listen and obey Mother Angel Sienna.

Meanwhile, Eros patted Azrael's shoulder and said, "Don't worry, Azrael. I will come back soon. Mother Angel Sienna just sent Levi here to protect Selene on my behalf."

Eros glanced at Azrael meaningfully. He understood Eros's words. Levi would protect Selene against Zaki's threat while Eros was not around.

Azrael heaved a sigh of relief after hearing Eros would come back soon.

"Alright! Once you come back, please bring Sienna here as well. I missed her already!" Azrael shamelessly requested Eros.

Because of his statement, both Selene and Eros ended up laughing. He really fell head over heels for Sienna.

"Azrael, Sienna is a busy-being. She has lots of work to do. I don't know if she has extra time to visit the human world once again just to see you."

Azrael just pouted his lips while glaring at Eros.

"Alright, Selene and I need to go down. I will introduce her to my fellow cupid. Stay here and watch over Sach. Where is he by the way?" Eros roamed his eyes at their surroundings looking for Sach.

"I saw him enter his own room," Azrael simply responded.

Eros nodded his head before turning to Selene.

"Shall we go downstairs, Selene? Levi is waiting outside."

Selene could only follow Eros. Outside the house, they met Levi. Eros introduced them to each other. Unlike Eros who was in his human form, Levi was in his child-like cupid form.

Levi would not break the rule so he would never show his adult form to Selene nor transform into human.

Selene could see him. She greeted Levi with enthusiasm, hiding her sadness. She still couldn't believe that someone was temporarily replacing Eros.

Would Eros take a lot of time before he would be able to come back, that's why Levi was here?

"Hello, Selene. It's my pleasure to finally meet you. I heard lots of things about you from our Mother Angel Sienna. She said you are a very special human contractee."

Levi spoke with so much honesty. He was just excited since he met one of the contractees of his idol, Eros. He was also taking over his task in the meantime. For Levi, it was a great honor to do that.

"It's nice meeting you too, Levi. Eros had already explained to me the situation. Thank you for coming here."

Selene wanted to welcome Levi warmly even though she hated to see Eros leave. But she knew this was not Levi's decision. He was just following orders from above.

When Eros was done introducing the two, he knew it was time for him to leave.

"Levi, I will leave Selene in your care for now. Make sure to protect her while I am not around," Eros said, glancing at Selene worriedly.

"Master Cupid, leave everything to me. I will not fail you! Miss Selene will be safe. I will make sure of that."

Eros bobbed his head. Then he faced Selene one more time to say goodbye to her.

"Selene. Wait for me, okay? I promise I will come back."

Selene nodded her head with a faint smile, fighting the urge to cry.

"Yes, Eros. I will be waiting for you. So come back to me soon."

Levi darted his gaze between Eros and Selene, feeling amazed with the bond they had.

'Why do I feel like they are not in a cupid-human contractee relationship? They sounded like lovers saying goodbye to each other for being apart temporarily.' Levi thought to himself as he silently watched the two.

Eros transformed to his angel's form. If he stayed there longer, he might change his mind and he could not leave Selene.

With a heavy heart, Eros flew up in the sky, leaving Selene and Levi. Selene could only watch him while holding her chest. Her eyes became blurry because of the tears threatening to fall.

Eros had finally left the human world and went back to the Angel's Agape Realm to meet Mother Angel Sienna.

Eros thought he would need to talk to Sienna and everything would be fine. He thought he would be able to come back to Selene soon, but he had no idea that something more was waiting for him in the Angel's Agape Realm.
