Selene could see that they were floating along with the clouds in the night sky. She can see stars closely, shining brightly above them.

Selene didn't know what to say. She was overwhelmed by this magical moment. She and Eros were flying together in that night sky.

Aside from the starry night sky, Selene saw a magnificent thing… Eros's two large beautiful white wings! It looked different when he was in his angel adult form.

"Oh my God! Eros… your wings! They are so beautiful. And they are warm. So amazing!" Selene blurted out in amazement, her eyes filled with fascination.

"Can I touch them?" Selene asked Eros's permission.

Eros let out a soft chuckle before nodding his head.

"Yes, you can. Just don't pluck my feathers!" Eros said, his eyes gleaming with humor.

Selene's lips stretched out into a bright smile. She raised her hand and touched Eros's wings. He felt a tingling sensation the moment her fingers got in contact with his feathers.

Eros blushed as he saw the admiration in Selene's eyes as she continued assessing his current form.

He brought her there to watch the stars closely, not him. But Selene's attention was focused on him and his angel's form. Eros had to admit that he liked it, getting more attention from Selene.

"Do you love what you are seeing right now?" Eros asked her, flashing a conceited smile.

Selene just bobbed her head and sunk to Eros's body. She suddenly felt cold because Eros spread his wings.

Seeing Selene shiver from the cold breeze, Eros hugged her again and folded his wings in front, engulfing Selene's body.

"Hmm, it's so warm. I love it." Selene mumbled, leaning her head on his chest.

"Selene, are you sleepy? Don't tell me you are planning to sleep here in this kind of position?" Eros cracked some jokes, seeing how comfortable Selene was in his arms.

Then he felt Selene put her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. Eros liked the closeness of their bodies right now.

"Let me hug you from behind so that you can watch the starry night sky," Eros said before turning her around.

Selene sparkled with delight seeing the wonderful view of the starry night sky. It was indeed beautiful beyond her imagination.

She was floating in the air, touching the clouds while being hugged by her handsome angel under the night sky filled with millions of shining stars. This was a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

"Eros…"

"Hmm?"

"Thank you…"

"For what?"

"For everything…"

Eros fell silent. He could feel Selene's sincerity when she thanked him. He just tightened his grip on her body.

He had mixed emotions right now. Both happy and sad. Happy… because he could make Selene smile. Sad… because sooner or later he would have to leave her. And he would miss her so much.

They remained in that kind of position for several minutes, just stargazing. They saw some falling stars and Selene made a wish.

"Did you make a wish?" Eros asked her curiously.

Selene just bobbed her head with a smile.

"What did you wish for?"

Selene shook her head and said, "It's a secret. You don't need to know." She giggled after saying that.

Eros just looked at her helplessly.

"Shall we go back now? Renz will worry if he doesn't see you inside your tent."

Selene nodded her head. Though she wanted to stay longer, she had to go back before Renz woke up. He would wonder where she went if he didn't see her inside the tent.

"Don't worry, Selene. We can do this again some other time!" Eros consoled her.

"Eros, wait. Turn me around. I wanna see you," Selene requested since Eros was holding her from behind.

Eros complied with her request. Now, Selene was now facing Eros. He was still holding her waist while Selene put her arms on his shoulder.

Since they were floating in the air, Selene got some crazy wild ideas. Eros looked at her confusedly when he saw the playful smile on her face.

Before he could figure out what she was thinking, Eros felt her hands abruptly push him away from her body. Eros's eyes widened in horror when Selene's body slid out of his grip.

Then he saw her falling. Eros moved quickly to catch her. After a few seconds, Eros caught her in his arms again.

"Damn! Selene, are you crazy? Why did you do that!?? Are you trying to get yourself killed in front of me?"

Eros scolded her. His heart was still pounding rapidly inside his chest. Selene gave him quite a scare.

But Selene just let out a soft giggle. Her eyes gleamed with thrill and excitement. Falling from that height, she felt more alive. She enjoyed the thrill. Besides, she trusted Eros. She knew he would catch her.

"I love it, Eros! Hmm, don't get mad. I know nothing bad will happen to me since you are by my side. You will protect me. See. I am safe and sound!"

Eros couldn't believe this woman. He got so afraid a while ago. What if she died because of that? Zaki was after her life. Accidents might happen to her any time.

"Selene! Don't do this again! You are being reckless, putting your life in danger! What if someone interfered, stopping me from catching you? You should have died from that fall! I can't~"

Eros was still scolding her when his words were suddenly cut off. Selene covered his lips with her lips, thus stopping him from further saying a word.

Selene was now kissing Eros passionately. He was surprised. He didn't expect that Selene would initiate this kiss.

Eros remained frozen with his unblinking eyes while Selene's lips continued brushing his lips tenderly. The kiss was very gentle and sweet as if this was a way of Selene showing her gratitude to Eros.

After he recovered from the shock, Eros pulled her body closer to him, holding her tightly. He would not let go of her this time. Then Eros responded to her kiss with equal passion.
