Mr. M informed Micaela that Renz and Selene would have a date tomorrow. He got this information from Samantha.

They should grab that opportunity to act and implement their plan of making Renz be indebted to Micaela.

Mr. M already arranged everything. Micaela would meet Selene and Renz at the camping site after their road trips.

"Are you sure that they will be there? What if they will go camping in a different place?" Micaela asked Mr. M.

Mr. M chuckled and said, "My informant is very reliable. You will see them there so make sure you will come."

"Alright, I know what to do. You don't have to order me around," Micaela responded, feeling irritated.

She was in a bad mood. She could see that Renz was making an effort to cheer Selene up. Micaela couldn't help but get jealous. She was not supposed to feel this way.

"Be ready tomorrow. I hope you can handle it very well," Mr. M said to her meaningfully.

"Of course, I can. I'm so excited for tomorrow. Renz… I will make sure that he will see my worth," Micaela said, feeling determined.

Their plan was all set. They only needed a proper execution tomorrow.

The next day, Renz fetched Selene at Anderson Family Mansion. They brought a lot of things such as a picnic set, tent, and food that would last until dinner time.

Renz and Selene left the mansion together with Eros. They started their journey for Road Trip activity.

Renz chose the rural area where they could smell the fresh air, see mountains and seas, and enjoy the scenery.

Renz was driving but gazing at Selene from time to time. She was taking pictures of the beautiful and scenic view that she could see.

Eros, on the other hand, was sitting in the back passenger seat, being invisible in Renz's eyes. Only Selene could see him.

While they were traveling, Eros noticed that several dark shadows were on their tail.

'The grim reapers are following us. But why? Is Zaki trying to get Selene's soul?'

Eros became uneasy about this. He didn't know their purpose. He just assumed that they were coming for Selene as per the instructions of Zaki.

'I will chase them out. I will not allow Selene to get hurt,' Eros thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Selene and Renz were not talking as they listened to the music playing from the car stereo. The music could make Selene relax on her seat.

Renz was already satisfied seeing Selene smile from time to time whenever she saw fascinating things outside her car window.

They took several stop-overs to enjoy the beauty of nature and capture them with Selene's camera.

It was already lunchtime when Selene and Renz stopped in one of the scenic viewpoints at the top of the hill. They brought their picnic set and decided to eat their lunch under the shade of a big tree.

They were eating when Renz opened a conversation between them.

"How is it, Selene? Are you enjoying this?" Renz asked her expectantly.

Selene smiled at him while nodding her head.

"Yes, Renz. Thank you for this. I love this idea of traveling from one place to another as I watch the beauty of nature."

Renz raised his hand to touch Selene's face. She flinched a little at the feel of Renz's hand touching her face. But she managed to maintain her composure when she recovered.

"You brought lots of food compared to me. By the way, Mom cooked the other food for us."

Selene smiled at the thought of Renz's mother cooking for them. She was a busy person but she still found time just to cook for them.

Selene was really grateful and she appreciated everything, even the simple gesture of love and care from them.

"Selene, let's take a photo together," Renz suggested as he moved closer to her.

Selene nodded her head in agreement. After getting her approval, Renz wrapped her arms around her shoulder and took selfies.

Eros was letting the couple have their moments as he stayed being a lookout. The grim reapers were still gathered in the area. Eros didn't like it.

When Eros couldn't stand it anymore, he tried to speak to one of the grim reapers lurking around Selene.

"Hey, you! What are you doing here? Why the hell are you lurking around Selene?" The annoyance and irritation could be heard in Eros's voice.

The grim reaper whom he approached was a little bit surprised seeing how worked up Eros was.

"A grim reaper's mission doesn't concern a cupid. I don't have an obligation to answer you. This is our task. Mind your own business, cupid!"

Eros was displeased after hearing that response from one of the grim reapers. That grim reaper was Gray, the one whom Zaki assigned a special task aside from catching the dark soul.

Eros clenched his fists and responded to him.

"I am minding my business. Selene is my human contractee so she is my business. Now, tell me! What is the reason why you have been following us since this morning?" Eros asked Gray once again.

Seeing the heavy tension surrounding Eros and Gray, another grim reaper stepped up to intervene. He was afraid that Eros and Gray would suddenly fight.

"We meant no harm for your human contractee. We are just here to catch the Dark Soul. Zaki informed us that the Dark Soul might come to see Selene and that guy," the grim reaper answered Eros to stop their arguments.

Eros felt relieved after hearing that. But how come Zaki knew about the possibility that the Dark Soul might be related to Selene.

Did Azrael report it to Zaki or did he learn about it by himself?

Eros went back to join Selene and Renz. Then he saw Renz grabbing Selene closer to him as they took pictures.

He just watched them. He didn't want to get jealous. He should be happy because Renz was doing his best to make Selene happy.

Eros was standing at the back when Selene turned around. She smiled at him, signaling him to come closer and sit beside her.

Eros couldn't refuse her so he walked over and sat down next to Selene. Now, Renz was sitting on Selene's right side while Eros was on the left side.

If Eros was in his human form, Selene would also like to take pictures with him. Too bad Eros couldn't transform, or else, Renz might become suspicious of why he was there.

After lunch, Renz and Selene resumed their road trip. He allowed Selene to drive. They dropped by the beach to watch the sunset. This was their last stop before going to the camping site.

The three of them sat on the top of the trunk while enjoying the majestic and wonderful view of the sunset. Selene was leaning on Renz's shoulder but her hand was entangled with Eros's hand.

Selene really had fun together with Renz and Eros. She savored the moment with them.

It was already 6:00 pm when they arrived at the camping site. The place was a hilltop. They could see some campers already setting up their tents.

Selene and Renz had also started building their tent. They only brought one. It seemed that they would have to sleep in one tent together. Fortunately, the tent was spacious enough for the three people.

After building their tent, Renz decided to gather some wood to be used in making a bonfire tonight. It was quite cold in the camping site during night and dawn.

Meanwhile, Selene set up the items for grilling barbeque. Eros was assisting her. Renz also helped in the preparation for tonight's dinner after he was done collecting dry woods.

It did not take long when someone approached them.

"Selene… Renz… you are also here?"

They turned around after hearing that familiar voice. Then they saw Micaela, smiling at them widely.

Selene and Renz didn't expect to see Micaela there. As usual, Micaela pretended to be surprised as well after seeing the couple.

She wanted them to believe that this was just pure coincidence. Renz and Eros were unhappy to see her. Selene was the only person who spoke to Micaela.

"What are you doing here, Micaela? Do you have company?"

Micaela shook her head. "No. I just came here alone. I want to relax so I thought camping would be nice."

"I'm glad to see you here. Do you mind if I join you?" Micaela added.

Renz and Selene exchanged glances with one another. Renz wanted to be alone with Selene. But now, Micaela suddenly appeared. It ruined his mood already.

And now, she was shamelessly asking them to join them.

'Can't she see that these two were having a date? This is a couple's moment!' Eros screamed in his mind. He had the urge to pull Micaela away from Selene.

But Selene couldn't say 'No'. So in the end, she agreed to let Micaela join them. Since it was Selene's decision, Renz had no choice.

Micaela smiled inwardly while staring at Renz intently. 'Wait for my show, Renz.'
