When Azrael asked them about Zaki's plan, the room became quiet once again. Eros and Azrael were worried about Selene.

It was so easy to do that. He just needed to write her name in the Book of Death, which Zaki alone could do. Then Selene might die by accident.

"Don't worry about that. As long as Eros will keep watching Selene, he can save and protect her. As I know, Zaki will be focusing on catching the Dark Soul first," Sienna informed them.

"I will protect her!" Eros declared, clenching his fists.

"You must stay alert, Eros," Sienna said, holding his shoulder.

Then Sienna turned to Azrael. "You should stay here together with Eros while you are still recuperating. I will try to talk again to Zaki regarding your case."

"I will listen to you, Lady Sienna," Azrael responded, not objecting to Sienna's suggestion.

"Will it be okay to talk to him also about Selene?" Eros still asked her. He wouldn't be at ease, knowing that someone would try hurting Selene.

Sienna shook her head. "I tried but Zaki didn't listen. He refused to listen, telling me that his decision regarding Selene's life would never change."

Eros's expression darkened upon hearing that. He was furious right now and he had the urge to beat Zaki.

"Please don't tell this to Selene, or else she will be scared every day knowing that she might die and a grim reaper is after her life," Sienna warned Eros and Azrael.

"Okay, we understand!" Azrael was the one who responded since Eros was still trying to calm the rage inside his heart.

"I will have to go back to the Angel's Agape Realm. But I already made a deal with Zaki. For the time being, as long as Azrael will stay with Eros, he is not allowed to attack you."

Azrael felt touched knowing that Sienna vouched for him that he was not at fault in this situation.

"Thank you so much for your help. How can I repay you for this? Can I use my body? You can take me and use me all you want!" Azrael blatantly said without thinking.

It was too late when he realized his mistake. He was carried away by his emotions so he ended up saying those words to Sienna.

Sienna: "..."

'ARGH! What have I done? I said it out loud!' Azrael had the urge to smack his mouth. He lowered his head, hiding his embarrassment.

Eros facepalmed while shaking his head helplessly. He couldn't believe that Azrael would be that bold in telling Sienna to repay her with his body.

Sienna just let out a soft giggle after she recovered from the shock.

"Oh, no need to repay me. It's just natural to help our fellow heavenly beings."

'Oh no?! Does it mean I got politely rejected by her? Sigh.'

Azrael could only smile sheepishly while scratching the back of his head.

"Go and take a rest now. I will drop by tomorrow before going back to the Agape Realm," Sienna mumbled, saying goodbye to them.

Eros and Azrael just watched her until she disappeared from their sight. Eros went back to treating Azrael's wounds using the healing water. After a few minutes, he was done putting healing water in all his wounds.

"You can sleep here. I will join the kid in the next room," Eros said.

"Why don't you put some healing water on your wound. Does your wound that you got from the dark spear already heal?"

"Oh right. Thanks for reminding me. I can put some on and it will increase the speed of healing my wound."

Eros stood up after he was done. He was about to leave when Azrael grabbed his elbow.

He turned around, giving Azrael a questioning look.

"Thank you again, Eros."

Eros's lips curled up into a smirk before nodding his head.

"No need to mention it. Now take a good rest so that you can recover fast."

When Eros left the room, he decided to check on Selene. It just so happened that Selene also came out of Sach's room. She stayed with him until he drifted off to sleep.

"Eros, how's Azrael?" Selene approached him.

"He is fine now. His wounds are slowly healing."

"How about your mother angel Sienna? Is she still here?"

"She already left."

Selene sighed deeply, feeling a little bit disappointed.

"Sigh, I was not able to say a proper goodbye to her." Selene pouted her lips.

Eros smiled faintly, raising his hand to pat her head.

"Don't be sad. She said she would drop by here tomorrow. You will still see her before she goes back to our Angel's Realm."

Selene's eyes brightened up when she heard that.

"Really?!"

Eros nodded his head.

"Yes! I'm so glad!" She said excitedly. She was looking forward to seeing Sienna again.

Seeing Selene's smiling face, Eros couldn't help but feel more worried about her safety. She was so happy right now that she was clueless about Zaki's threat. He wanted to take her life again.

Eros hated that thought. As much as possible, he wanted Selene to live longer.

Eros's heart felt so heavy right now. It was filled with anxiety. He could no longer fight it. Eros grabbed her, pulling her body close to him as he engulfed her in his arms.

Eros just felt the need to hug her like this. Selene didn't expect Eros to do that. She could tell that something was bothering Eros right now.

"Eros? Is there something wrong?"

Selene could feel that Eros tighten his grip on her body.

"Nothing. I just want to give you a good night hug."

Selene smiled after hearing that. After a while, she just found herself encircling her arms around Eros's body.

"I'm glad you didn't get hurt, Eros," Selene softly mumbled, burying her head in his sturdy chest.

"Because I am strong. And I will use all my power just to protect you," Eros said to her meaningfully.
