Selene couldn't believe what she was seeing right now. The video was not about their prenup photoshoot, but about Renz.

"Are you coming with us, Azie?" Samantha asked Azrael. She wondered if Azrael wanted to join them or wait for Eros and Selene.

"Yes," Azrael promptly said.

He needed to be there and see whether the dark soul was lurking around there. He might have possessed another person's body among the guests.

Thinking about the dark soul, Azrael couldn't help but sigh heavily. Eyon relayed the message of Zaki to him and his fellow grim reapers.

If they failed to catch the dark soul now, then Zaki would go into the human world and take action personally.

It would be embarrassing for them if that happened since they failed their mission over and over again and their Supreme Leader had to step up to accomplish the mission.

When Grandma Elysa, Samantha, and Azrael left the mansion, Eros went to see Selene inside her room.

He knocked several times but Selene was not responding. Since the door was not locked, Eros just stepped inside, not waiting for Selene.

Upon entering her room, he saw Selene standing in front of the mirror. She was now staring blankly at her reflection.

Something was off with her expression. He could no longer see the excitement in her eyes. Her eyes looked dull and lifeless.

'What's wrong with Selene? Is she so nervous?' Eros asked himself inwardly before walking over to approach her.

"Selene…" Eros softly called her name.

Selene snapped back to reality when she heard Eros's voice. She turned around to face him.

She didn't know why but her heart clenched further after seeing Eros. She felt like crying again. She felt the need to be comforted by him.

"Selene, are you nervous?"

Eros asked her, flashing his signature charming smile. Just like Selene, Eros was not okay but he was masking his emotions with a smile.

"Eros…" she mumbled his name, not answering his query.

Eros looked at her confusedly. He was about to ask her again when suddenly Selene moved closer to him and hugged him.

Eros was caught off guard by Selene's action. She buried her face on his chest while gripping her body tightly.

"Eros…" she mumbled his name again.

She wanted to tell him what she was feeling right now but she couldn't utter the words.

"Hug me…" Selene commanded him.

Instead of saying she felt horrible and devastated right now, Selene just told Eros to hug her. She needed it badly right now.

Eros gladly complied as he engulfed Selene in his strong arms. He was dying to do this. His heart was beating loudly and rapidly inside his chest.

Knowing that Selene was going to be Renz's wife today, Eros couldn't help but feel sad and jealous.

If possible, he wanted to kidnap the bride on her wedding day or replace the groom. But he couldn't do that.

Eros also hugged Selene tightly. He didn't want to let her go.

'Sigh. Why am I having this wild thought of stealing you from him? Can't you just be mine, Selene?' Eros uttered, having wishful thinking of possessing Selene as his own.

On the other hand, Selene felt comforted by Eros even though he was not saying anything.
