Two Days Before Renz's and Selene's wedding…

Selene and Grandma Elysa visited the Chou Family together with Eros. They had a family gathering as they prepared for the upcoming wedding ceremony.

Renz's parents, Maynard and Jasmine, were very accommodating. The Chou and Anderson Families already looked like they were just one family.

Maynard and Jasmine were very supportive of their relationship. They were so glad that the two families would unite further through marriage.

It seemed that Renz and Selene were not against the marriage although it was just arranged by the elders from the beginning.

They wondered if the two already developed feelings towards each other. They hoped that the love that they had was not just a love for a sibling or a friend, but more as romantic love between a man and a woman.

Renz's grandfather and Selene's grandmother were talking on the balcony while Jasmine and Selene were discussing Selene's plans after the wedding.

Eros, Renz, and Maynard were having tea in the living room. They were talking about the preparations as Renz was the one overseeing everything.

Eros was also helping him because he wanted this to be special for Selene. But he had to admit that he was jealous, sad, and afraid.

Jealous… because Selene would start relying on Renz and eventually he would no longer be needed by her.

Afraid… because once the two already fell in love, then he had to leave Selene's side. He was asking himself if he could bear staying away from her.

Sad… because he felt that his mission was already coming to an end and he would be forgotten by Selene.

The three men were still talking when Renz received a call from an unknown number. He stood up and excused himself first before answering the call.

Renz was surprised when he heard the familiar voice of a woman.

"Hello, Renz!"

The caller was Micaela. Renz looked around first, checking if there was someone around.

When he saw no one, Renz started speaking to her.

Renz: "Micaela?"

Micaela: "Yes, it's me! I miss you!"

Renz frowned upon hearing the last sentence of Micaela. She was very bold to say she missed him although they were not in a relationship.

Renz: "How did you get my number? Why are you calling me?"

Renz sounded a little bit annoyed. He didn't want Micaela contacting him. But Micaela just giggled from the other line when she heard his indifferent tone.

Micaela: "Let's forget about the How. The most important is the Why."

Micaela still tried teasing Renz.

Renz: "If you will not talk seriously, I will hang up the phone."

Micaela: "No. I'm serious now. Come and meet me today! Let's talk."

Renz: "We can talk over the phone. What do you need?"

Micaela: "You! I need you."

Renz rubbed the space between his eyebrows and sighed deeply.

Renz: "I'm hanging up."

Renz was about to press the end call button when Micaela spoke again, threatening him.

Micaela: "Don't you dare hang up the phone, or else, Selene will know what happened to us during your Bachelor Party."

Renz slammed his eyes shut while greeting his teeth. He had the urge to throw away his phone but he couldn't. He was afraid that Micaela would really tell Selene what happened to them.

Renz: "Where are you?"

Micaela smiled triumphantly when she heard that. It only meant that Renz was coming to see her.

Micaela: "I'm here at my dormitory in De La Carmel University. I will wait for you here."

Renz didn't say another word as he hung up the call immediately.

"I need to settle this with Micaela today," Renz mumbled as he went back inside the house.

"Dad, take care of Gabriel. I will just go out. There is something I need to check in the venue of our wedding reception," Renz lied.

"Okay, son. Go ahead. I will take care of Gabriel. He is fun to talk to." Maynard responded to his son. Eros just nodded at Renz.

Renz went to see Selene first before leaving the mansion.

"Selene, enjoy your time with my Mom. I will have to go somewhere. I will come back before dinner," Renz softly said, kissing Selene on her forehead.

Jasmine just smiled seeing the sweet and thoughtful gesture of her son towards Selene.

"Okay, Renz. Take care. Drive carefully."

"Yes, Ma'am!" Renz responded cheerfully to Selene before turning to leave.

Twenty minutes later, Renz arrived at De La Carmel University. He headed straight into the girl's dormitory.

Micaela was already waiting for him. She was only wearing a thin white satin robe and a pair of white lacy lingerie.

She would try to seduce and tempt Renz once again. She would force him to do more forbidden acts so that he would feel more guilty towards Selene.

She just got out of the shower. She heard the knocking sound outside her door. Micaela smiled playfully as she already knew that the person outside was Renz.

She opened the door and saw Renz who was wearing his casual clothes~ a plain t-shirt and blue jeans.

He looked even more masculine with his casual clothes. He gave off a different fresh manly vibe since he was not wearing his usual corporate suit.

Renz frowned upon seeing Micaela's attire. She was not wearing proper clothes yet. But Micaela didn't give him time to react as she hastily pulled him inside her room.

She closed the door and locked it. Without further ado, Micaela pushed Renz at the door and pounced on him immediately.

She grabbed his head and attacked him with a hungry passionate kiss. She crashed her lips on his lips.

Renz was caught off guard by Micaela's aggressiveness. Aside from her soft lips, he could feel her soft body touching his.

Unknown to them, another was being present inside that room aside from them. It was Azrael who was keeping an eye on Micaela.

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk… this is bad. It looks like history is repeating itself again!" Azrael clicked his tongue while shaking his head helplessly.
