Eros shared his troubles with Grandma Elysa. Both of them were experiencing the same sadness and fear of leaving Selene behind so Grandma Elysa knew how it felt.

"Don't worry, Gabriel. A friend will always need a friend so don't that she doesn't need you anymore. You can always be there for her if you really want to."

Grandma Elysa patted Eros's back. "Unlike you, my days are already numbered. Even if I want to stay longer with my granddaughter, I have no control over that. Only fate will decide if it will let me live longer or not."

There was a gleam of sadness in Grandma Elysa's eyes as she said those words.

Eros just looked at her. 'Grandma, we are the same. My days of staying with Selene are also limited. But can I really do that? If I really want it… I can stay with her. But I will need to become greedy and break lots of rules.'

Eros and Grandma had become silent, both were thinking about what the future might bring. Then they heard the sound of the elevator coming to a stop.

Ding!

A bulky man wearing a cap and a leather jacket stepped inside the elevator. Instead of standing beside Eros, he stood next to Grandma Elysa.

He was eyeing her for the whole time until Eros and Grandma Elysa stopped at the first floor where the restaurant was located.

Strangely, the man also followed them to the restaurant. He sat at the table next to Eros's and Grandma Elysa's table.

When Eros took notice of the man, he felt strange when he sensed a different aura with him.

'Huh? What's wrong with this man's aura. I can't explain but there is something weird about him.' Eros thought to himself.

Then he caught the man looking in their direction. Eros's frown deepened.

'Why is he looking at us?'

Eros decided to observe the man while Grandma Elysa was ordering food. Eros was puzzled because the man just sat there looking at them without ordering any food.

What made him more confused was the solemn expression on his face as he watched them. Wait, he was not looking at them, but to Grandma Elysa in particular.

'Why is he looking at Grandma Elysa like that?' Eros kept on watching the man.

Then he noticed that the man suddenly shed some tears.

'Huh? What? Wait, why is he crying?' Eros couldn't believe what he was seeing. A bulky man was shedding tears by just looking at Grandma Elysa.

'Does Grandma Elysa remind him of someone? Someone close to his heart, maybe his mother or grandmother?' Eros marveled at that thought.

It did not take long when a waiter arrived at their table, covering Eros's view of the man sitting on the other table.

When the waiter left, Eros saw the man standing up as he walked out of the restaurant.

'That man was so strange.' Eros mumbled to himself before shaking his head.

Then Eros brought his attention back to Grandma Elysa.

"Grandma, what time are we going to leave this hotel?"

"I think after lunch. Selene's friends still want to enjoy their stay here. I heard they were going for a swim at the infinity pool of this hotel on the 13th floor."

Eros nodded. That sounded fun. After a while, Samantha and others also came down to the first floor to take their breakfast.

Renz and Selene also arrived together. He was holding her hand as they entered the restaurant.

Samantha and others started throwing Selene and Renz a teasing look. Who would have thought that the groom would join them today? The couple just smiled at them.

Then Selene and Renz immediately approached Grandma Elysa, greeting her with a kiss.

"Good morning, Grandma. Did you have a good sleep last night?" Selene asked her.

Renz grabbed a chair for Selene before he sat down next to her, facing Eros and Grandma Elysa. Eros greeted Renz with a slight nod. Renz also did the same.

"Yes, dear. I slept well last night. How about you?"

"Me too, Grandma."

"Good to hear that. Dear, you are getting slim. You should eat more! Don't worry, I am sure Renz will not mind it if his bride will gain some weight," Grandma Elysa said, teasing the couple.

Selene and Renz laughed at Grandma Elysa's remarks.

"Yeah, I will not mind it either," Eros suddenly blurted out of the blue, making Renz and Selene stop laughing.

Grandma Elysa was the one who giggled at Eros's statement.

"See, you have a very supportive friend here, Selene!" Grandma said cheerfully.

Selene smiled awkwardly. Sometimes, she would worry about Eros's slip of the tongue. She was afraid that Renz might learn that the two of them lied about Gabriel's sexual orientation.

"Alright, I'm gonna order first. What do you want to eat, Renz?" Selene asked Renz, changing the topic right away.

She wanted to divert Renz's attention so that he would not mind Eros's words.

"Hmm, how about… You?" Renz said meaningfully.

At first, Selene didn't get what Renz truly meant and misunderstood it.

"Me? Hmm, I want to eat grilled Tuna belly and vegetable salad. Will you order the same?"

Renz let out a soft chuckle before pinching her cheeks.

"You didn't get my humor! I said You… I want to order You." Renz said with a wide smile on his face.

"Aw! It seems like the groom wants to eat his bride and become his breakfast!" Samantha chimed in, teasing Selene. She overheard their conversation. She was just sitting next to their table.

Selene: "..."

Selene couldn't help but blush. She was at a loss for words. When did Renz become so naughty like this?

Meanwhile, Eros couldn't help but roll his eyes skyward.

"Corny. Lame," he murmured before using his knife and fork to slice the meat on his plate into tiny pieces.

He was totally jealous. He noticed that Renz was slowly changing. He was now paying more attention to Selene and showing his interest in her.
