Eros had seen how compatible Selene and Renz were with each other. He could see that his human contractee was one step closer to winning her fiancee's heart.

But instead of being happy for Selene, his heart was filled with jealousy. He placed his hand on his chest. He could feel the clenching of his heart.

Eros could no longer watch the sweet and romantic scene of the couple in front of him so he looked away. He just focused on entertaining Grandma Elysa.

Selene and Renz continued the last part of today's photoshoot. Eros just stayed in the cottage together with Grandma Elysa and the other staff of the photographer's team.

Three ladies from the team had a crush on Eros. His presence caught their attention. Eros's beauty stood out and they couldn't help but be smitten by him.

When they were done assisting the head photographer, they joined Eros in the cottage, engaging in some conversation with them.

Eros who was trying to divert his attention away from Selene and Renz started entertaining the three ladies.

When Selene and Renz were done with their photoshoot, they changed their wet clothes first before joining others in their assigned cottages.

The moment Selene arrived in the cottage, she immediately saw Eros talking and laughing with the ladies. In her eyes, it looked like the ladies were trying to flirt with Eros while he also flirting back with them.

Selene's eyebrows were drawn together in a frown. She was displeased to see Eros with the ladies.

"What is Gabriel doing? He is supposed to take care and watch over my grandma, not to flirt with women here!" Selene murmured to herself while glaring at Eros.

With her grim expression, Selene approached Eros right away, thus interrupting his conversation with the ladies.

"Gab, have you fed my grandma her medicine today?" Selene asked him while giving Eros a sharp gaze.

Eros glanced at Selene in confusion. He didn't know that Grandma Elysa needed to drink another medicine today.

Her next schedule for taking medicine would be after dinner.

Not certain about this thing, Eros just shook his head at Selene.

Selene squinted her eyes at him. She had the urge to scold him.

"You are supposed to take care of my grandma. You are not here to have fun and relax. Why are you neglecting your duties as her nurse?" Selene started nagging at Eros.

Eros: "..."

He was tongue-tied because of Selene's sudden outburst. She looked so mad.

Seeing the angry expression of Selene, the three ladies immediately left them quietly, not wanting to disturb them. It seemed that the two were having a serious conversation.

Grandma Elysa overheard Selene so she immediately stepped forward to calm her down. She also wanted to defend Eros.

"My dear granddaughter, don't get mad at Gabriel. He is fulfilling his duty well. My next schedule for taking medicine will be after dinner."

Hearing Grandma Elysa's voice, Selene realized her mistake. She was not able to control her emotions. She overreacted by scolding Eros in front of the ladies.

Selene looked down, feeling a little bit embarrassed. "I'm sorry, Gab. I'm sorry grandma. I overreacted," she mumbled softly.

Eros just scratched his face, telling Selene that it was fine.

"I understand, Selene. I know you are just worried about your grandma. Ok, I have to leave now and get your grandma's medicine."

After saying that, Eros stood up, leaving them to get Grandma Elysa's medicine. Selene just watched Eros's retreating back with a guilty look on her face.

Grandma Elysa talked to Selene. "Selene, don't be so harsh and strict on Gabriel. I am not a kid who needs to be watched over every hour and every second. Let him enjoy his stay in this resort as well."

Selene bit her lower lip, feeling so guilty. "Yes, grandma. I understand. I'm really sorry about what happened moments ago."

Selene didn't know what had gotten to her. She suddenly got pissed off seeing Eros being surrounded by women while having fun with their conversation.

'I will try to apologize to him properly once we are alone,' Selene thought to herself.

It did not take long when dinner time came. They would be having dinner in that cottage together with the photographer, stylist, and other members of the photographer's team.

The resort staff was already setting up their table and serving their food tonight.

Renz guided Selene and Grandma Elysa to their respective seats. Everyone was already there, except Eros.

Selene felt bothered. She wondered if Gabriel took her words to the heart. She saw that he was not in a bright mood when he left them.

After a while, Eros came back, holding the bottle of Grandma Elysa's medicine. Since they were now complete, they started eating dinner.

Selene was stealing glances at Eros from time to time. He looked very quiet, not initiating a conversation with anyone.

He was not looking at Selene either because she was sitting next to Renz. Selene was not used to seeing Gabriel acting like this.

After dinner, Eros fulfilled his duty of making sure that Grandma Elysa would take her medicine on time or else, Selene might scold him again.

The photographer's team invited Eros, Selene, and Renz to join them. They were planning to enjoy the beach while drinking and star gazing tonight.

Renz agreed so Selene also joined them. Eros, on the other hand, said goodbye to them first. He needed to accompany Grandma Elysa going to her room first.

He promised that he would join them later after he was done taking care of Grandma Elysa.

Selene, Renz, and others started to bond at their cottage. They ordered some lady's drinks and beers for men.

The head photographer brought his guitar and started playing some acoustic songs. Others enjoyed listening to his voice including Renz and Selene. They also sang along with him.

After playing three songs, the head photographer took a rest. They started talking, teasing, and complimenting the couple.

"Ma'am Selene, Sir Renz, the two of you match each other well. You are both sweet. The photos turned out so well. Very romantic!" One girl expressed her thoughts to them.

"Sorry, we can't show you your photos yet. It will be a surprise!" The head photographer also spoke up.

Selene and Renz just nodded their heads at them.

"I can't wait to see the photos. But since you said it's a surprise, I will not force you to show them to me now." Renz mumbled with a bright smile.

"Don't worry, sir Renz. I know you and Ma'am Selene will like them once you see the photos." One member also spoke up.

They were still talking about Renz's and Selene's photos when Eros joined them. The three ladies who had a crush on him suddenly became more hyper and jolly after seeing Eros.

They immediately asked Eros to sit with them. Eros didn't refuse as he sat down in the middle of the two ladies. Selene just watched Eros silently.

Selene noticed that Eros aka Gabriel was avoiding her. He didn't even glance at her ever since he arrived there.

He became busy entertaining the girls, making Selene's bright mood change.

"Oh, tomorrow we will go mountain climbing early morning. Don't drink too much tonight," the head photographer reminded his team.

"Aye, Boss!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Noted, senior!"

Selene turned to Renz and softly said, "You too. Don't drink more. You have low alcohol tolerance."

Selene could remember that Renz could easily get drunk.

Renz pinched her cheeks before nodding his head.

"Yes, Ma'am. I will just finish one bottle of beer tonight."

Selene just giggled because of Renz's remarks.

"Ahem, why don't you try kissing each other on the lips for tomorrow's photoshoot?" the head photographer suggested to Renz and Selene.

"Yes! It will be more romantic kissing each other while watching the sunrise at the top of the mountain!" The stylist also joined the conversation.

Renz just chuckled while Selene smiled at them awkwardly. She started blushing again as the group continued teasing them. Only Eros remained quiet.

Eros sighed deeply. He didn't know how long he could stand watching the sweet interactions between Renz and Selene.

In the end, he just focused himself on entertaining the ladies as he continued drinking beers. He hadn't noticed that he already drank more than what he could take.

This was the first time he drank alcoholic drinks. He finished several bottles unknowingly.

Afterward, he felt some discomfort. He became hot. Eros was already drunk.

Eros immediately excused himself, leaving the cottage. He needed some fresh air so he decided to go to the beachfront.

Selene noticed Eros's strange behavior tonight. He was completely avoiding her. He didn't even speak to her.

Her eyes widened when she saw twenty empty bottles of beer that were scattered near Eros's seat.

'Eh? Did he drink all those beers by himself? Selene asked herself in amusement.

She saw Eros leaving their cottage. She wondered if he was already drunk. Feeling worried about Gabriel, Selene excused herself to find him.
