Since Samantha agreed with Selene, the two of them decided to go home. Mr. M volunteered to drop them at Anderson Family Mansion.

Eros told them that he would stay in the Orion Empire Hotel since he still needed to catch his 'cheating boyfriend'.

On the other hand, Renz and Arthur came back to their respective companies.

Before they got separated, Renz reminded Selene about their prenup photo shoot this coming weekend. Selene didn't forget about it.

Her grandmother was already excited about their trip. They would be coming to a resort! Grandma Elysa was looking forward to it.

Selene also thanked Gabriel through a text message.

[ Gab, thank you for making such an excuse. You saved us both today! I owe you. Enjoy your stay there. I think Samantha will be safe now, with me. ]

Eros smiled upon reading her message. "Anything for you, Selene," he softly mumbled.

He was planning to transform back to his cupid form and followed Selene and Samantha in the Anderson Family Mansion. He needed to find out if the grim reaper was still following Samantha.

Meanwhile, Selene, Samantha, and Mr. M were now on their way to Anderson Family Mansion. Selene was sitting in the back passenger seat while Samantha was in the front seat.

Selene felt a little bit awkward opening a conversation with them. She still couldn't erase in her mind the erotic scene she witnessed moments ago.

Samantha also didn't know how she would talk to Selene. She just decided to confront her once Mr. M was no longer with them.

Mr. M was also quiet, checking Selene from time to time. She could tell that Micaela's description of Selene was true. She was somehow reserved for other people.

Mr. M found it funny and amusing that Selene caught them while doing an intimate act. He could just imagine how embarrassed she was right now.

His lips curled up into a wide grin. His first meeting with Selene and Renz was really unexpected. They just ruined his plan for tonight.

Aside from that, he also wondered how Micaela would react once he told her what happened today. Soon, it would be her turn to meet Renz face to face.

Mr. M also secretly approached Arthur a while ago. He befriended him. They even exchanged their contact numbers.

He learned from Samantha that Arthur was the one who was in charge of Renz's Bachelor Party. He could use his connection with Arthur to implement his next moves.

After the twenty-minute drive, they finally arrived at Selene's house. Selene and Samantha thanked him. He kissed Samantha on the lips before saying goodbye to the ladies.

Selene just looked away since she felt embarrassed watching the display of affection of those two.

Upon entering the house, Grandma Elysa welcomed them with a warm hug. She was waiting for them already. Selene informed her grandmother that Samantha would sleep over tonight at their house.

Grandma Elysa was so happy that Samantha would join them tonight. Selene left Samantha and Grandma Elysa in the living room.

She went upstairs to prepare her room. Samantha would stay there while Selene would accompany her grandmother in her room.

Eros (aka Gabriel) would also start working as Grandma Elysa's private nurse tomorrow. One of the guest rooms was prepared for him.

When Selene entered her room, Eros was already there, floating in the air. He was now in his little cupid form.

Selene dashed in his direction immediately. She hugged him since she missed Eros. He had been away for these past few days. Only Gabriel was the one by her side.

"My angel is back!"

Selene was squeezing him in her arms. Eros could only smile while hugging her back. He also missed Selene's hug. She would only do this in his child form.

"Eros, I brought Samantha here. Do you think she will be safe now?" Selene asked him expectantly. She had a hopeful look in her eyes.

Eros rubbed his chin while looking at Selene. He couldn't tell since he hadn't checked yet if the grim reaper was still around Samantha.

"We will know later," he simply responded.

Then Selene's eyebrows knitted into a frown as she remembered something.

"Eros, the guy with a dragon tattoo whom I mentioned before… It turned out he is Samantha's boyfriend. Do you think he is the one who murdered Samantha?"

"I'm really confused right now. I can see that the couple are very sweet towards each other. I don't know if he is capable of killing Samantha and for what reason?"

'They even had sex today.' Selene thought to herself, not mentioning the details to Eros.

She didn't know that Eros already knew what happened since he witnessed their intimate moment as well. Eros also had the same question as Selene's.

"I also don't have answers, Selene. But what we can do now is to ensure her safety. Stay here, I will just check something."

After saying that, Eros disappeared from Selene's eyes. Eros went to the living room to check Samantha.

His eyes lit up when he didn't see black shadows. The grim reaper was not there. He stopped following Samantha.

Eros heaved a sigh of relief. 'Selene will be happy to hear this good news. I think Samantha is safe now.'

Eros disappeared again, returning to Selene's bedroom. He was excited to inform her that Samantha would be safe for now.

Selene just finished changing the comforter and bed sheets when Eros appeared behind her.

"Selene, I have good news for you! Samantha is now safe! Nothing bad will happen to her." Eros informed her with his delighted voice.

Selene jumped in happiness when she heard that. "Is that true? Are you sure, Eros?"

Eros bobbed his head frantically. "Believe me, Selene. I am certain. She was no longer in danger."

"Oh my God! I'm so happy. We made it. You, and I, including Gabriel! We save Samantha!" Selene couldn't contain her happiness.
