"You should apologize to Selene for accusing her without a valid reason," Eros said with his stern voice. He was looking dagger at Renz.

Arthur scowled at Eros when he heard his demand. He refused to apologize. Why would he do that? For him, it was not his fault. Selene's action was suspicious.

Who would have thought that they were there to spy and catch someone for cheating?

Besides, Eros didn't look like a gay in Arthur's eyes. So they couldn't blame him if he jumped to a conclusion right away.

Selene turned to Renz, feeling a little bit anxious.

"Do you believe me now?" Selene asked Renz.

But she couldn't look straight into his eyes since she really felt guilty. Gabriel and she already kissed behind Renz's back.

She wondered if kissing a guy aside from her fiancee also counted as cheating. If yes, then she was really guilty.

But her conscience was clear about booking a room with Gabriel. They just did it for Samantha, with no other ulterior motives behind it.

Renz just patted her head and softly mumbled, "Yes, I believe you. I think everything is just a misunderstanding."

Renz realized that Gabriel's words made sense. He witnessed how Selene and Eros rushed to room 304. There was urgency in their actions.

They even broke the door just to enter the room. This only meant that they wanted to see who were the people inside room 304.

Renz was thinking that It was just a great coincidence that Samantha and her boyfriend were the ones occupying room 304.

Then Renz shot Arthur a cold sharp glare. Samantha also did the same, glaring at Arthur.

"Come on, Arthur! Apologize to Selene. You were hell-bent a moment ago in accusing Selene of cheating!" Samantha also demanded Arthur.

Arthur just closed his eyes and clenched his fists. "Ok fine! I'm sorry, Selene!"

Mr. M, who was silently observing on the sideline, smirked inwardly. He was fascinated to see Arthur hating Selene.

'Hmm, I met an interesting fellow here. I think I can use him for my plan,' Mr. M thought to himself.

Selene, on the other hand, didn't want this to escalate so she accepted Arthur's apology right away.

When the issue between Renz and Selene was fixed, Samantha finally introduced Mr. M to her friends.

"Everyone, this is my boyfriend Jackson. Jack, they are my friends, Selene, and Renz. They are the couple I mentioned to you before. Their wedding is scheduled for the first week of the month, next month."

Then Samantha turned to Arthur and Eros.

"This is Arthur, Renz's best friend and this is Gabriel, Selene's friend….a gay friend," Samantha felt awkward saying her last words. She still couldn't believe that Eros was gay.

While Mr. M, Arthur, and Renz were greeting each other, Eros already sent a message to Selene.

[ Gabriel: Selene, we need to get Samantha out of this hotel. Your vision might come true if she stays here. ]

Eros couldn't tell Selene that he could see the grim reaper around since he was Gabriel in front of Selene.

If he was in his cupid form Eros then he could inform her that the grim reaper was hanging around Samantha. Her life was still in danger.

Selene and Eros didn't know what time Samantha died in Selene's previous life.

[ Selene: Okay, Gab! I will find ways. ]

Meanwhile, the grim reaper inside the room couldn't help but assess Eros. He couldn't explain why this guy with silver-gray hair possessed a different aura compared to the other people inside.

But he couldn't recognize Eros in his human form. He concealed his angel's magical power.

'Strange! This man is different from the others. But I can't figure out why,' the grim reaper mumbled to himself as he continued observing Eros.

Eros could feel that the grim reaper was eyeing him right now. He avoided looking in the grim reaper's direction. He might notice that Eros could see him.

After a while, Samantha had spoken again.

"So what's your plan now?" Samantha asked the four of them. It seemed that she was ready to send them away.

"I'm going back to the office," Renz answered her. Then he turned to Selene. "Do you wanna come with me and visit the office?"

Selene was rendered speechless. She still needed to keep Samantha safe. She couldn't come with Renz.

"Sorry Renz, I can't come. I'm going home to accompany grandma," Selene said, politely rejecting Renz's invitation.

"How about you two?" Samantha asked Eros and Arthur.

"I'm going back to the company too," Arthur responded.

"I'm gonna stay here in this hotel and spy on my boyfriend," Eros said to them with so much conviction.

His words meant he was going to stay there if Samantha would stay at the hotel the whole night. He promised Selene that he would save and protect Samantha.

"Can I stay here in your room?" Eros shamelessly asked Samantha.

"Your boyfriend is so gorgeous. I like his tattoo. Looks so cool," Eros added, with his flirty voice.

Selene: "..."

Samantha : "T-T"

Mr. M: "???"

Renz: "Pftt..."

Arthur: "..."

Samantha didn't know whether to cry or laugh. She still couldn't accept that her crush liked men, not women.

Selene wanted to commend Eros. He was doing fine with his acting. She almost believed that he had a crush on Samantha's boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Arthur moved further away from Eros. He was avoiding him. He never knew he might become his next target.

But of course, that would never happen. Eros could pretend that he was gay but he could never pretend that he liked Arthur. He hated him to the core because Arthur hated Selene for no valid reason.

"Sam, are you staying here with your boyfriend? Actually, I want to invite you today. Can you stay at our house? I want to bond with you and my grandma," Selene asked her with her pleading voice.

Samantha darted her gaze back and forth between Mr. M and Selene. She couldn't refuse her. So in the end, Samantha agreed on coming with her to Anderson Family Mansion for a sleepover.

Selene and Eros exchanged meaningful glances. They were glad that Samantha agreed. They could monitor her and keep her safe in Anderson Family Mansion.
