"Go back to your living room, Gab. This area is mine," Selene said sternly, sending Eros away. She even crossed her arms over her chest, looking at him seriously.

Eros just smiled at Selene. She looked upset but still, she was pretty and adorable.

"Are you throwing a tantrum today? What's wrong with you, Selene? Are you mad about something? Tell me… what did I do wrong?" Eros bombarded her with lots of questions.

He stepped forward, inching closer and closer to Selene. Selene was rooted in her spot, speechless.

She didn't know what to reply since she didn't want to admit that she was upset with him because he flirted with the hotel staff.

A cheeky smirk played across Eros's handsome face when Selene was lost in trance. She didn't respond to his queries.

It did not take long when Eros reached her spot. He was now standing in front of her.

"Did you lose the ability to speak? Do you want me to exercise your tongue?" Eros said to her meaningfully. His scorching eyes were fixed on Selene's lips.

Selene's heart started to beat crazily again inside her chest as she imagined herself being kissed by Gabriel because of his last remarks.

'Gosh! Are you crazy, Selene? What am I thinking? My innocent mind was already tainted ever since I kissed Gabriel that night!' Selene scolded herself inwardly.

She couldn't help but bite her lower lip to ease the tension she was feeling right now. She became more conscious especially now that Eros was too close to her. He invaded her personal space again.

'Can't he talk to me without getting near me? Why does he have to come over?' Selene lamented to her mind.

Reflexively, Selene took a step back away from Eros. Because of that action, she bumped her head into the glass window.

"Ouch!"

"Hey, careful!" Eros took one large stride to close their gaps, holding the back of Selene's head.

"Does it hurt?" Eros asked her worriedly as he began rubbing her head.

Selene couldn't utter a word since she was stupefied by their current closeness. Her face was buried on Eros's sturdy chest as their bodies were already pressed to each other.

His one hand was placed at her back while his other hand was rubbing and stroking her head. Eros was already hugging her.

Selene's heart raced even faster as she smelled his masculine fragrance. It was intoxicating her, making her mind malfunction for a moment. She literally froze in her spot, not knowing what to do.

"Can you be more careful next time? Selene, you are always clumsy, do you know that?" Eros continued scolding her with his concerned voice.

When he didn't get any response from her, Eros gazed down only to realize that he was holding her very close to him.

'Dang! I really ended up hugging her,' Eros mumbled to himself, feeling helpless.

But instead of letting her go and releasing her, Eros even pulled her closer, tightening his grip on her body.

Then he repeated his questions with his soft voice. "Selene, why are you mad at me? What did I do wrong?"

As if Eros's words had some kind of magical effect on Selene, she finally admitted the reason why she was upset with him.

"You flirted with the hotel staff! You are good at flirting with women."

Eros: "..."

He didn't know what to say after hearing that from Selene. He didn't mean to flirt with the hotel staff. He just used his charm so that they could get the answer from her.

After a while, Eros let out a husky laugh as he realized something. He just continued hugging Selene.

"Are you jealous, Selene?" Eros asked her directly, his eyes sparkling with joy.

Selene's eyes widened when she heard that from Eros. She tried to push him away but she couldn't escape from his tight hug.

"No way. I'm not jealous! It's just that…" she denied it.

"It's just that what?" Eros was already grinning from ear to ear.

"I hate flirtatious men!" Selene declared to him, slamming her eyes shut. She hoped Eros would buy that statement.

Her cheeks were already blushing from embarrassment. She had no right to be jealous. They were just friends. She would never admit that she was jealous!

Selene started to punch his chest. "Let me go now, Gab."

Eros caught her arms and gently pushed her until her back rested on the glass window. He finally released her from his tight hug but he still trapped her.

"Miss Selene Anderson, I am not a flirtatious guy. I just used my charm a while ago to help you get the information from her," Eros started to explain to her.

"But I admit I am guilty of one sin…"

Selene frowned, giving him a questioning gaze. "What sin?"

"I lied to her when I called her Miss beautiful," Eros said.

Selene glared at Eros once again. "How can that be a lie? She is indeed beautiful!" She scowled at him.

Eros let out another husky laugh before elaborating his statement.

"No, she's not. My standard of beauty is higher. For me... You are the true beauty. In my eyes, you are the most beautiful girl," Eros said while staring straight into her eyes.

He said those words with so much conviction in his words. Aside from that, his expression was very serious, making Selene speechless.

Selene: "..."

There was a moment of complete silence when Eros said those words. The two of them just continued gazing at each other, not saying a word.

'Gab, why are you doing this to me? How can you lie to me without batting an eyelid? I don't think I am beautiful. If I do then why Renz didn't fall for me before?'

As if Eros had read her mind, he spoke again, breaking the silence.

"Believe me or not, Selene, you are beautiful, inside out! I will never lie to you when it comes to this matter. I am not saying this to appease you. I am just saying the truth."
