Samantha often heard compliments from other men but she didn't know why Mr. M could easily make her blush with his simple word of compliment.

Was it because she could feel that Mr. M was the kind of guy who seldom gave compliments and praises to women?

Samantha was still in a trance when Mr. M held her hand, pulling her toward the soft couch.

"Here, take a break first and have some snacks," Mr. M said, putting the paper bag that contained snacks on the mini glass table.

Samantha just watched him silently while he was preparing the food. It was her favorite Blueberry cake! She was also surprised that he brought red wine.

Soon, the two of them began eating together. Samantha's assistant and bodyguard entered her office. However, upon seeing Mr. M and Samantha together while happily conversing, her assistant and bodyguard left quietly.

They didn't want to disturb them, giving them privacy inside her office. They thought Mr. M and Samantha were already in a relationship. They looked very sweet towards each other. At least, they could see that Mr. M was taking care of their boss.

Samantha had mentioned to her assistant and her bodyguard that Mr. M was the one who saved them that night. She also told them that they were constantly communicating to keep in touch after that incident.

Her assistant and bodyguard began teasing her, shipping her with Mr. M. But Samantha would always deny it although she was slowly falling for him.

She couldn't believe it. Some time ago she hated this man for his attitude but now everything has changed. She began opening up to him.

They both agreed to have a fresh start and forget the unpleasant encounter they had during their first meeting.

"Are your friends coming today?" Mr. M started a conversation with Samantha.

"Oh, do you mean my friends who are about to get married?"

"Yes," Mr. M answered nonchalantly.

"Oh, Renz and Selene will drop by this afternoon. Hmm, the boys are planning to do the bachelor party for Renz at the end of this month. I think I should also organize a party for Selene."

Mr. M just simply nodded at her.

"By the way, are you staying? I can introduce you to them."

Mr. M fell silent for a moment. He was analyzing the pros and cons of meeting Renz and Selene today. He was always calculative. He didn't want things to happen that were opposite to his calculations.

"Hmm, let's see. If my schedules permit me then I might stay until they come. Hmm, why don't you just tell me directly that you want me to stay? Why are you using your friends?" Mr. M commented, teasing Samantha.

Samantha narrowed her eyes at him when she heard those last remarks.

"Your wish!" Samantha said, rolling her eyes skyward.

Mr. M just chuckled at her reaction. Samantha stood up since she was annoyed by his overbearing self-confidence. He was also egoistic sometimes as if he was the center of the universe.

Seeing the annoyed expression of Samantha, Mr. M decided to pacify her by his own means. Before she could step forward, Mr. grabbed her elbow, pulling her towards him.

Samantha gasped in surprise when she was pulled back forcibly by Mr. M. She was off-balanced and ended up sitting on his lap.

"Hey, let go of me!"

Samantha hit Mr. M on his chest several times. She was annoyed by him. But Mr. M didn't budge. He continued holding her waist in place while flashing his cheeky smirk on his gorgeous face.

When Samantha continued struggling while hitting his chest, he caught her arms, pushing her back on the couch. He was now on top of her. Samantha was already trapped in his strong arms.

"Jack!!! Let me go. What are you doing?" Samantha complained anxiously. Their closeness was making her heart go crazy. It was beating rapidly inside her chest.

"I like you, Samantha," Mr. M mumbled while staring at her with his scorching eyes.

Samantha froze in her spot the moment she heard that. Those words came out of the blue. She was caught off guard by his sudden confession.

'Why is everything happening so fast between us?' Samantha asked herself while eyeing Mr. M with disbelief.

"You are kidding me, right? Stay away from me. This is harassment!" Samantha pushed him but Mr. M was strong. She refused to believe him because she thought Mr. M just broke up with his girlfriend.

'What does he think of me? A rebound?' Samantha's heart suddenly filled with rage at that thought.

Mr. M just let out another husky laugh. "This is not harassment, especially if you will like it and you will also enjoy what I am about to do with you."

Without waiting for Samantha's response, Mr. M attacked her lips with his, kissing her hard. Samantha was utterly astounded when she felt his lips devouring her as if he was a hungry wolf.

She didn't know what to do. This was also her first kiss and Mr. M was overwhelming her with his aggressiveness.

Samantha could hardly believe that this was happening. Mr. M was right. She was liking it. His kiss was drowning her. All she could do was close her eyes while going with the flow.

All her defenses were broken. She was now giving in to his temptation. Mr. M bit her lower lip, causing her to open her mouth for him. He grabbed that opportunity to plunge his very eager tongue inside her mouth.

'Damn! He is a great kisser!' Samantha thought to herself.

He was now exploring her mouth using his tongue. He could taste the sweet cakes and red wine in her mouth. Mr. M deepened the kiss, not minding the fact that Samantha was not good at kissing yet. He could feel it.

But soon Samantha was able to adjust following his lead. Her hands that were pressed on his chest a while ago, were now tugging his hair, pulling his head closer to her.

Mr. M smiled inwardly. Samantha was responding to him, matching the intensity of his kiss.

'I got you now, Samantha! You can't escape from my grasp.'
