Selene glanced at her bathroom worriedly. For some unknown reason, she felt like it was not a good idea for Renz and Gabriel to meet each other this morning.

She didn't expect that Renz would drop by as early as this. This only meant that Gabriel had to stay in her room hiding until Renz left. She also felt guilty for kissing another man.

'Gosh… I really gave my first kiss to another man, not my fiancee. I had weird thoughts in mind before because I was upset with Renz. Though he was already engaged to me, Renz kissed another woman in my previous life.'

"Okay dear, freshen up first. Your prince charming is waiting for you downstairs. I will tell him that you are coming," Grandma Elysa said, snapping Selene out of her deep thoughts.

Selene bobbed her head, "Okay, Grandma. I will follow you after."

When Grandma Elysa left her room, Selene immediately headed to her bathroom to freshen up as well as to talk to Eros.

The bathroom door was locked from the inside so Selene had to knock and ask Eros to open the door for her.

It did not take long when the door was opened and Eros's hot wet look came into her view.

Selene's jaw dropped, her eyes wide open in both shock and amusement. She was literally frozen in her spot, eyeing Eros's hot chiseled physique.

'W-What the hell am I seeing right now?!!'

Eros was not wearing a shirt on his upper part. His well-defined muscles were exposed to her. He was so damn hot with his perfectly sculpted six-pack abs. No! They were eight, not six!

There were some water droplets running down his broad sturdy chest. Selene's unblinking eyes were following the trail of the water droplets starting from his broad chest down his hard stomach.

She gulped hard, trying her best to avoid looking down further. She wanted to look away but she couldn't take her eyes off him. Her eyes were glued on him, admiring his masculine beauty and fine assets.

Eros looked so manly in contrast to his adorable cute appearance when he was in his child-like cupid form. She had the urge to touch those muscles. It looked firm and hard.

He smirked triumphantly after noticing the silly expression of Selene while ogling at his half-naked body. This was the result that he wanted. He intentionally did this to find out Selene's reaction.

"Oh, Selene. I hope you don't mind if I will use your bathroom to take a quick shower. Do you wanna join?" Eros asked her jokingly. There was a wide cheeky smirk on his handsome face.

Thanks to Eros's shameless remarks, Selene was able to recover from her deep stupor.

Selene squinted her eyes at Eros and responded, "In your dreams!"

Eros just let out a husky laugh. "Hmm, there's nothing wrong about dreaming. We can achieve our dreams through perseverance and hard work," Eros said meaningfully, winking at Selene.

Selene just rolled her eyes at him. She would never win against Eros's shamelessness.

"Please continue acting like that… I will really think that you are a true pervert!"

After saying that, Selene stepped inside, pushing Eros to the side. She wanted to wash her face, as well as her eyes.

She thought her eyes had been tainted again early this morning after seeing Eros's mouth-watering hot body. She had to admit that she was completely smitten by Eros's very tempting appearance.

Eros just stayed at her back, waiting for her to finish. When she was done washing her face. She brushed her teeth, trying her best to ignore Eros's presence.

She had to move quickly since Renz was already waiting for her downstairs. However, she became clumsy, feeling conscious around Eros.

She could feel that he was watching her every movement inside that bathroom.

"Hey, can you go out for a moment? And please put your shirt on!" Selene could no longer stand it.

She had to say it out loud since it seemed like Eros had no plan of leaving her alone inside.

'Is he dumb or just slow-minded? Can't he feel that it is so awkward to be observed by him while I am doing my personal things?'

"Move… Go out! I have to pee!" Selene glared at Eros when she saw him not moving in his spot.

But the moment he heard her last word, Eros finally gave in. He wanted to tease her more but it appeared that Selene would not allow him to do it further.

He just walked out of the bathroom when Selene had spoken another word.

"Gab, don't go out of my room. Just stay there and wait."

Eros frowned when he heard that. He knew that Renz was already there, waiting for Selene. He overheard the conversation between Selene and Grandma Elysa.

He slumped his body on her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. Eros knew that Selene was in a hurry because of Renz.

His mood suddenly became gloomy. The smile on his face already disappeared. He didn't know why but he decided to delay her intentionally as if he didn't want Selene to entertain Renz.

Eros took a deep sigh while shaking his head. He was supposed to help Selene in winning Renz's heart. But he was acting the exact opposite of his duty as her cupid.

'Have you lost your mind, Eros? Don't come in between them. You should be the bridge connecting their two hearts,' Eros reminded himself.

After a few minutes, Selene came out, looking fresh. She was all set to meet her fiancee. Before leaving her bedroom, she gave Eros some instructions.

"Gab, please don't leave my room for a while unless I tell you, okay? Just stay here. But don't worry, I will try my best to bring your breakfast here. Just make sure that Grandma Elysa and Renz will not see you."

"They have no idea that you stayed here the whole night!"

Eros heaved a frustrated sigh. 'Why do I feel like I am a kept-woman, like a mistress? Selene wants to hide me from them.'
