Micaela finally met Eros's other persona, Gabriel. She even mistook him as Selene's fiancee. She thought it would be hard for her to get closer to him since from the start Eros already acted aloof and indifferent towards her.

He ignored her presence as if she didn't exist. Micaela smiled at Eros the moment their eyes met but Eros just pretended he didn't see her.

Knowing the betrayal she did, Eros hated Micaela to the core. Though she looked kind and friendly especially when treating Selene, his impression of her was still the same… a b*tch friend who stole her best friend's fiancee.

Meanwhile, Selene didn't expect that Micaela would tell her that Eros and her suited each other well.

Selene subconsciously blushed at that thought but she immediately shook her head. She was not supposed to think about pairing herself with Eros aka Gabriel. She had her fiancee, Renz. And they were about to get married soon.

But deep down, Selene was considering the possibility that if there was no Renz then she might like Gabriel.

Aside from his good looks, Gabriel was a gentleman who was very caring and thoughtful. But his most dominant quality that stood out among the others was being narcissistic and shameless.

However, Selene had to admit that those qualities didn't make him less likable, instead, they made him so cute and funny sometimes. She was also used to hearing his cheesy lines which could make her laugh, smile, speechless, and feel embarrassed.

Every day with Eros was so fun that it could lessen Selene's stress and forget about her problem. She would always try to be cheerful in front of her grandmother. Grandma Elysa wanted to see Selene smiling more often.

"Hey, why are you smiling like a fool? Ahem, best, you look really in love with your fiancee. Your smile is very sweet and your eyes are gleaming with joy," Micaela said, teasing Selene.

Selene snapped out of her deep thoughts when she heard Micaelas's teasing. She corrected her wrong assumption.

"Best, you are mistaken. He is not my fiancee. He is just my friend, Gabriel."

Micaela's jaw dropped when she heard that. She really thought that Eros was her fiancee because of his actions. The way he looked at Selene was so gentle and sweet.

'Did I just misunderstand his action? Are they really friends? What if that guy… What's his name again, Oh Gabriel! What if Gabriel likes Selene more than just a friend?'

Her eyes widened in realization so she turned to Selene, giving her a questioning look.

"By the way, when did you meet him? How come I didn't know that you have another friend aside from me. It is also very surprising that you have a male friend. You never introduced some guy friends before," Micaela spoke spontaneously.

Selene scratched her face upon seeing the overdramatic reaction of her friend, Micaela.

'Is it really strange to have another friend aside from Micaela?' Selene pondered to herself.

'Well, maybe. Since I am always a loner, an introvert,' she added to her thoughts.

Selene shrugged her shoulders before telling Micaela when and where she met Eros. Of course, she didn't tell her what happened in her bathroom.

When Eros came back to join Selene and Micaela, the ladies were already done talking about him.

For the sake of formalities, Selene introduced Eros and Micaela to each other.

Eros tried to act civil in front of Micaela but still he couldn't hide his unfriendly behavior towards her. She also noticed it.

Feeling uncomfortable in Eros's presence. Micaela decided to leave. Besides, she had done what she needed to do today. She cleared some things with Selene, hoping that she would no longer suspect her in the future.

When Micaela left, Selene and Eros checked Grandma Elysa in her room. She just woke up. They brought her some fruits to eat.

"Gabriel, I heard you brought these fruits including fresh vegetables. Thank you. Why don't you stay here and join us for dinner tonight?'' Grandma Elysa invited Eros.

She was becoming more fond of him especially when she learned from Selene that Gabriel would become her private nurse next week.

"Sure, grandma. I will not refuse to have a delicious free meal tonight," Eros responded jokingly.

Grandma Elysa and Selene laughed because of that.

"It's not a free meal. You will be the one to cook!" Selene declared to Eros. She remembered what Eros had said to her. He could be her Chef who could cook her favorite food.

"It's my pleasure to serve two beautiful ladies," Eros said with his suave tone while winking at Grandma Elysa and Selene.

Selene could only shake her head while looking at Eros helplessly. Grandma Elysa was still smiling because of Eros's remarks.

Eros and Selene helped each other in the kitchen. While they were preparing for dinner, Eros had noticed that Selene started sneezing and coughing.

'Did she catch a cold?' Eros thought to himself while looking at Selene worriedly.

"Selene, are you alright? You can just rest there. I can handle this. I will just call you and your grandma once the dinner is ready."

Selene just smiled at him faintly before shaking her head. "I wanna help. Aunt Ling and others are on their day off today. They just went home this afternoon so I want to assist you," Selene insisted on staying.

"Alright." Eros just let her do what she wanted.

After an hour, Eros was done cooking the food. He already learned how to cook human food. He had stayed so long in the human world that he was already accustomed to their ways of living.

Eros could do a lot of things that a human can do since he learned so much from observing them. He just realized that it was very beneficial to him. Now, he could apply those skills he had gained to help and assist Selene.

For Eros, this was the most exciting and fun mission he had ever had for his entire existence as a cupid. He did things he had never done before.

Being with Selene in his human form without revealing his true identity as her cupid was the most satisfying thing he had ever experienced so far. He really felt like he was a real human being.

Eros, Selene, and Grandma Elysa started eating their dinner. Selene was very attentive to her grandmother. She didn't eat much but she had to admit that Eros's cooking was great.

After dinner, Selene made sure that Grandma Elysa would take her medicine on time. She guided her into her bed. Grandma Elysa was sleeping early.

Selene was accompanying her in her room every night just watching over her. Selene hadn't had enough sleep for the past few days because she always stayed up all night just to watch her grandmother's condition.

"Good night, grandma. Sleep well," Selene kissed Grandma Elysa on her forehead. She was already lying on the bed.

"Good night, my dearest princess," Grandma Elysa responded, caressing Selene's face.

Selene left her grandmother in her bedroom. She needed to go downstairs and helped Eros in washing the dishes and cleaning the dining area.

She already felt indebted to Eros for every assistance and help he was giving her for the past few days. He was even doing menial things like this without complaining to Selene.

The most surprising thing was Selene could see that Eros was enjoying what he was doing. Selene couldn't believe that she would become closer to a person who was once a stranger to her.

Who would have thought that the guy who accidentally barged in her bathroom and whom she thought was a pervert and a psycho would become someone whom she could rely on in difficult times?

Selene never regretted meeting Gabriel. He was a nice guy and a good friend.

'Hmm, the girl who will become his girlfriend or his wife is very lucky. Gabriel is a complete package. Just forget about his shamelessness,' Selene giggled at that thought.

By the time she arrived in the kitchen, Eros had finished cleaning up already. He didn't need Selene's help anymore. He already finished all the works in just a short period of time.

Selene couldn't figure out how he was able to do that. She just disappeared for a few minutes when she tucked her grandmother in bed. And when she came back, Eros had done all the work.

"Selene, I cleaned everything. Now I can go home. Go to bed now and rest. I will see you tomorrow," Eros said to her enthusiastically.

'Eh, tomorrow? Is he planning to visit again tomorrow?' Selene gazed at him with disbelief.

But Selene couldn't say no because she also felt comfortable with Eros around.

Selene just simply nodded her head in agreement.

Eros and Selene headed outside. She was sending him off. While they were walking, Selene suddenly felt dizzy. She was not feeling well since this afternoon. Eros quickly caught her in his arms.

"Hey, Selene, are you alright? Damn! You are burning hot! I think you have a fever!"
