The restaurant was just a walking distance from Samantha's shop. Selene asked Samantha to leave the restaurant first as per the instruction of Eros.

She just told Samantha that Eros aka Gabriel would have something to do and he would follow them after. Samantha didn't suspect anything.

Selene didn't want to scare Samanthaby telling her that someone might be following them. She just let Eros handle everything. Though she was still nervous for his safety. She just hoped that nothing bad would happen to him.

Meanwhile, Eros was now tailing the man behind. He just confirmed it. The man in a black leather jacket was following and monitoring Samantha.

Eros sped up to catch up with the guy. Upon reaching the guy, Eros grabbed his shoulder and pushed him on the wall near that sidewalk.

The guy was caught off guard by Eros's interference. He didn't anticipate this sudden attack from behind. Eros was holding his hand, twisting it at his back while pinning his upper body on the wall.

The man was facing the wall as Eros was pushing him at the back. The guy tried to retaliate by struggling in his grasp and turning around to face Eros.

The man was so strong that he was able to escape from Eros's grasp in just one swift move. Eros was not using his power nor his extraordinary strength. He was fighting the guy with the equal strength of an ordinary human, not as a heavenly being.

Now they were facing each other, both in their fighting stance They were ready to throw punches at each other at any time.

"Who are you? I know you have been following us since this morning." Eros started to interrogate the man.

His gaze was fixed on the man's jacket. He was thinking of a way to remove it to check whether the man had a dragon tattoo on his arm or none.

The man just stayed silent, never bothering to answer him. Eros couldn't tell what the man was thinking. He was wearing sunglasses so he couldn't see his face clearly.

It did not take long when the man charged in Eros's direction, throwing punches. He was aiming at his stomach and face. Eros stepped back, dodging his attacks.

Eros lured the man into the hidden alley where there were no passersby. The man continued attacking Eros. His speed increased. Eros knew that this man was a fighter. He started to receive several hits from the guy.

'Damn, he is strong. His kicks and punches are heavy.' Eros was in a defensive stance right now as he was still assessing his enemy.

From his movements alone, Eros could tell that this one was a professional.

'Was he the one who killed Samantha? I need to find out and see his tattoo.' Eros mumbled to himself.

Eros stopped stepping back and remained still in his spot. He was waiting for the man to throw another punch at him. And when the man did, Eros blocked it with his own hand, grabbing his fist.

Then he used his other hand to grab the sleeve of the man's jacket. Applying his strength, he pulled it forcibly, creating a ripping sound. He just tore off the sleeve of his jacket. But Eros didn't see a dragon tattoo.

The man raised his leg, kicking Eros at his abdomen but Eros immediately blocked it again using his knee. Eros twisted his arm, turning the man with force.

He heard the man wince in pain. He also tried to check his other arm. It gave him the same result. No dragon tattoo!

"Who are you? Why are you following us?" Eros repeated his question. Still no answer.

Eros was losing his patience. The man was not responding to him. He didn't know who this person was. He was not the man with a dragon tattoo but he was clearly following Samantha's movement.

'Is he connected to the culprit?' Eros marveled at that thought.

Eros was about to knock the man down when he heard a familiar voice calling him.

"Gabriel!!!"

It was Selene. Eros's eyes widened when he saw Selene standing a few meters away from them.

'Damn! What is she doing here? I told her to leave and accompany Samantha.'

Eros was distracted by Selene's arrival. The man grabbed that opportunity to pick the swiss knife inside his pocket and use it to attack Eros.

He plunged the swiss knife, hitting Eros's hand. Because of that, Eros loosened his grip against the man, thus releasing him.

'Argh! I was careless. He has a hidden weapon with him.'

"Gab!" Selene screamed in horror when she saw Eros's bleeding hand.

"SELENE, LEAVE!!! Run!" Eros yelled at her. He didn't want her there. Her presence would just distract him from fighting the man.

But Selene didn't want to leave especially now that she saw Eros got injured. Eros wanted to scold her big time. Instead of leaving, Selene even dashed in his direction.

'Argh! Selene, are you trying to kill me?!!'

When the man saw Selene running towards them, he decided to retreat and leave. He ran away, leaving Eros and Selene in that alley.

"Hey, are you alright?! Your hand is bleeding!" Selene grabbed his hand the moment she reached his spot.

"What the hell are you doing here?!! You should be with Samantha, in her shop! Not here! I told you to leave and run. Why didn't you listen to me? You are so reckless, Selene!!! Why did you run to me if you saw that the man was still here? You might get hurt, don't you know that?!" Eros burst out, ranting at her.

Selene almost gave him a heart attack. That man could attack Selene if he wanted to. Fortunately, he ran away and left.

Selene could only bite her lips. She could tell that Eros was very mad and upset with her. He even raised his voice at her while scolding her.

"Don't be mad. I just got worried about you so I went back to find you. Come, let's go to the hospital to treat your wound! You are still bleeding." Selene said to him worriedly.

She picked up her handkerchief and wrapped Eros's hand to stop his wound from bleeding. Eros could only sigh helplessly while watching Selene.
