"Eh, I mean I am Gabriel… you know…. My name is an angel's name. Gabriel is an archangel right?" Eros came up with a good statement to cover up his mistake.

"Aside from that, I also had an angelic face, don't you agree?" he added, smirking cheekily at her.

"Shameless!" Selene said while rolling her eyes skyward.

"Hey, I'm not shameless. I'm just stating a fact!" Eros defended himself.

Then he unbuckled his seatbelt, moving closer to Selene. That was also the time when she stopped the car because the traffic light was now giving them a red signal.

She turned to her side only to see Eros's gorgeous face which was only a few inches away from her. Selene's eyes grew wide because of their closeness. She even held her breath as she watched Eros in puzzlement.

'Eh, what is he doing?'

Eros was staring at her intently. Selene didn't know why but her heart suddenly became crazy inside her chest. It started racing rapidly because of Eros's intense gaze.

She gulped hard, not knowing what to say. She literally froze in her seat for a few seconds, just waiting for Eros's next movement.

His blue eyes met her brown eyes. He even cupped her face so that she would not turn her head away.

"Now, look at me and tell me that I was wrong while staring straight into my eyes… Do I have an angelic face or not? Am I handsome or not?" Eros asked Selene with his suave tone.

Selene: "..."

Selene couldn't utter a word as her mind went blank. Her senses were so focused on Eros... his beautiful blue eyes, gorgeous face, fragrant masculine scent, and his warm hands touching her face.

'Damn! Why do I feel like I am being seduced by this heavenly beauty in front of me? Oh please, Selene… wake up. Move and say something.'

The two of them were still staring at each other's eyes. Eros was waiting for Selene's response.

It did not take long when they heard a loud sound of horning cars behind them, thus interrupting the two. It was the wake-up call Selene was waiting for.

She immediately pushed Eros away from her personal space and moved her gaze back on the road. She started the car again and continued driving.

Eros frowned while pouting his lips. He felt disappointed because Selene didn't answer him.

'I wonder if there's something wrong with her eyes. Is it hard for her to say and admit that I am handsome? Or maybe she can't differentiate anymore because, in her eyes, Renz is the only handsome guy.'

Eros's face darkened at that thought. The smile on his face disappeared as he was now sulking in his seat. He became silent and didn't bother Selene who was now trying her best to concentrate on her driving.

After twenty minutes, they finally arrived at their destination. Selene parked at the front of the shop of Luna. Selene immediately messaged Samantha, informing her that they were already outside her shop.

Samantha personally welcomed them in the entrance door. As expected, Eros caught a lot of attention upon entering the building. The customers and the staff couldn't help but look at him, checking him out from top to bottom.

Eros was too handsome to ignore. They couldn't take their eyes off him including Samantha.

"Oh, is he the friend you were talking about yesterday, Selene?" Samantha asked Selene with her elated voice. Her eyes sparkling with joy as she observed Eros.

Selene smiled awkwardly before nodding her head. "Yes, Samantha, I hope you don't mind that I bring a male friend, not a female."

Samantha let out a soft giggle when she heard that. "At first I thought you would bring Micaela with you."

"But don't worry, I really don't mind. May I know the name of this handsome guy?" Samantha said, her eyes roaming around Eros's face.

Eros glanced at Selene meaningfully as if he was saying, 'See, even Samantha is calling me handsome. Why only you can't say that in front of me?'

Selene somehow understood Eros with the kind of stare he was giving her. She just shrugged her shoulders and decided to introduce Eros to Samantha.

"Sam, this is my friend, Gabriel… you can call him Gab or Riel for short. By the way, he has a younger sister who loves your design. That's the reason I brought him here."

Then Selene turned to Eros and said, "This is Samantha, the famous fashion designer and the owner of the clothing brand, Luna!"

Selene proudly introduced Samatha's background to Eros. She was expecting Eros to be shocked after knowing Samantha's amazing background.

But to her surprise, Eros just remained calm and neutral. There were no changes in his expression.

Eros just greeted Samantha casually as if he was just talking to an ordinary person like them.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Samantha."

Samantha smiled from ear to ear, a blush creeping over her cheeks as Eros shook her hand.

"It's also my pleasure to meet you, Mr. Gabriel," Samantha softly mumbled to him.

Selene just watched Samantha helplessly. She didn't expect that Samantha would fall easily under Eros's charm. She could tell right away that Samantha had a crush on Eros, also known as Gabriel.

'Ah, I wonder if I did the right thing of introducing them to each other. What if Samantha will fall for Gabriel? Does it mean I become the bridge for their love story?' Selene thought to herself, her imagination running wild on her mind.

Cough! Cough!

Eros cleared his throat since the two ladies seemed to be lost in their thoughts.

With that, Samantha invited the two of them to enter the building. She brought them to her office first. She also asked her staff to prepare snacks for her visitors.

Little did they know, there was also another person who was watching the three of them ever since Eros and Selene entered the building. He had been following Samantha for the past several days now.
