Micaela and Samantha were surprised to see each other in Anderson Family Mansion. This was indeed a small world.

After a few seconds of being in a trance, Micaela got her composure back. She hoped that Samantha hadn't told Selene yet about what she saw last night.

'I'm going to talk to her later,' Micaela made a mental note before walking over to join Selene and Samantha on the couch.

She wondered what their relationship was with each other. 'Are they relatives or just friends? Was she the reason why Selene attended the party last night?'

Samantha, on the other hand, felt a little bit awkward after seeing Micaela. She would still cringe at the memory of the scene she saw between Micaela and Mr. M.

Selene introduced the two ladies to each other. They exchanged awkward smiles and greetings.

Selene had no idea that the two women already encountered each other last night. No one talked about this because the way they met was quite embarrassing.

Samantha was also considering Micaela's feelings. If she's in her shoes she would feel embarrassed as well.

She didn't want to ruin Micaela's mood, that's why she decided to keep her mouth shut about last night's incident so that Micaela would feel comfortable in her presence.

The three of them talked about girls' stuff, school, and future plans. They got to know each other more after talking for several minutes.

Soon, Grandma Elysa called Selene and others, informing them that the lunch was now ready. Selene immediately went to the kitchen to help Aunt Ling and Grandma Elysa in serving the food at the dining table.

Samantha was about to follow and help them when Micaela asked her if they could talk for a moment.

Samantha had somehow guessed that Micaela wanted to talk to her about the incident last night at De La Sierra Hotel.

"Samantha, I know we had a very embarrassing encounter last night. First of all, I would like to apologize for how Mr. Jackson treated you. He is always like that, very rude to strangers including women."

Micaela knew that Jackson was not Mr. M's real name. He just used another identity to check in on that hotel. Mr. M's real identity was still a mystery in public.

Micaela had seen how Mr. M and Samantha argued last night. She hoped Samantha didn't hate her for that. Besides, Mr. M was the only one who spoke to her.

"Nah, it's alright. You don't have to apologize to me. It was he who had the attitude problem, not you. He should be the one apologizing to me." Samantha knitted her eyebrows into a frown after remembering Mr. M.

Micaela softly giggled when she heard that. She could see that Samantha was still annoyed with Mr. M.

"Alright, I will tell him to apologize to you next time."

Samantha just nodded her head, flashing a satisfied smile on her face.

"Hmm, Sam, one more thing… can I ask a favor from you?" Micaela thickened her face to request something from Samantha although this was just their second time seeing each other.

"Hmm, sure, what is it?" Samantha asked her inquisitively.

"Could you please not mention to Selene what you have seen last night? I think it's quite embarrassing. I don't want Selene to misunderstand me. She might think that I am an easy girl who will just make out with someone anywhere even in a public place." Micaela's cheeks were so red while saying that.

Samantha fell silent for a moment. She understood Micaela's feelings. But she felt like Micaela had another reason for hiding this from Selene.

However, since it was not her habit of spreading some rumors and gossip to others, Samantha just agreed to her request.

"Hmm, I know Selene will not judge you like that. But since you ask me this. Okay, I will not tell Selene about this. Besides, this is your private life. However, Micaela, don't do that again, okay? It's not good for your reputation as a woman if others will see you doing that in the open." Samantha sounded like an older sister lecturing her younger sister.

Micaela looked at her feeling guilty. "Yes, I learned my lesson. I won't do that again. I will never put myself again in that embarrassing situation. Thank you for your concern."

Samantha patted Micaela's shoulder and said, "Good! By the way, is he your boyfriend? I wonder how you can be patient with him even though he has some kind of attitude problem."

Micaela just smiled sheepishly at her and decided not to comment on that since she couldn't tell her that Mr. M was not her boyfriend.

Samantha would become more puzzled if she learned that she was sleeping with a guy who was not even her boyfriend. Her relationship with Mr. M was complicated.

They were more like partners but she couldn't consider it as friendship either. No feelings involved, only gains and benefits.

They just finished talking when Selene came back into the living room to call them. The food was already served. They gathered together in the dining area to eat lunch.

The three ladies including Grandma Elysa spent their time bonding together. She was so happy because Selene got more friends now. She already had Micaela and now Samantha was added to her friend list.

In Mr. M's Villa, he was sitting leisurely on a soft sofa while drinking his coffee. The person he was waiting for had finally called him. After a few rings, Mr. M answered his phone.

Mr. M: "Scorpion, what do you have for me?"

Scorpion: "Boss, I did as you ordered. I ran a background check on that woman. And here are my findings."

Mr. M allowed Scorpion to speak as he supplied him with pieces of information about Samantha.

Scorpion: "Her name is Samantha Del Luna, 24 years old. She is one of the leading fashion designers now in our country. She owned the clothing brand, Luna."

Mr. M: "Interesting. She has a great background. Continue…"

Scorpion: "I found out that she belonged to Renz Chou's circle of friends. She is one of his closest friends. It seems that Samantha is also close to Selene Anderson."

Mr. M arched his eyebrows in amusement after hearing that. He just remained silent, letting his right-hand man speak.

Scorpion: "I am monitoring her movement. Just today, I saw her visiting the Anderson Family Mansion. Lady Micaela also went there to see her friend. I presumed that the three women had already met by now, having girls' bonding."

Mr. M let out a husky laugh after hearing that.

Mr. M: "It seemed that Micaela was put in an awkward situation because of that woman. I wonder how Micaela will handle that woman so that she will not say anything to Selene."

"Is that all? Do you have something more to say?" Mr. M had spoken again, asking Scorpion.

Scorpion: "Yes, Boss. This is my update for now. I will keep following and monitoring her. Do you have any other order or task for me?"

Mr. M smiled inwardly. This was one of the reasons he hired Scorpion. He was very efficient when it came to his work and assignment.

Mr. M: "Hmm, none. Just continue to monitor her. Don't touch her yet. I'm gonna think first of what I should do with her."

Scorpion smirked after hearing his big boss. He knew Mr. M very well. He was like a cat who wanted to toy with a mouse first before finally killing it.

He wondered if that's what he meant by saying he would still think of what he would do to her. He wanted to play with Samantha first before eliminating her.

'What a pleasant surprise. Renz, Selene, and Samantha are connected to each other. It seems that Samantha Del Luna might become a threat to our plan.' Mr. M thought to himself, flashing his sinister smile.

Scorpion: "Okay, Boss. I will hang up now. I will just update you again next time. Just wait for my call."

Mr. M: "Okay, Scorpion. Wait for instructions. I will be the one to handle that woman personally."

Scorpion: "Got it, Boss!"

With that, the two of them bade goodbye to each other and ended the call. Mr. M found his prey this time.

"Samantha Del Luna… you are running out of luck woman. It seems that I have to take you out of the equation in order for our plan to be successful."

Mr. M was thinking that it was her own fault for getting involved with this.

Though she was a woman, Mr. M would not spare her. He was stone cold towards other women except for Micaela. She was always his only exemption.

"I will not let someone ruin or mess up our goal. I'm sorry to say Samantha Del Luna, but I have to get rid of you… soon."

After saying that, a cold glint flashed through Mr. M's eyes. His lips curled up into an evil smirk.
