When Selene hung up the phone, Micaela and Mr. M talked about her.

"Do you think she saw us together last night?" Mr. M asked Micaela, sitting down on the bed.

"No. I think she only saw me, not you," Micaela said with certainty in her voice.

"My concern is the girl who saw us at the fire exit," Micaela brought up Samantha.

Mr. M smirked upon hearing that. "Don't worry. I already asked someone to monitor and follow her. Soon, we will know whether she's a threat to our plan or not."

Micaela just nodded her head.

"What a great coincidence. I should have known that she would be here. It was a surprise that she attended a party. As far as I know, your best friend hated social gatherings." Mr. M blurted out suddenly.

"So I assumed she was with her fiancee last night," he added.

Micaela just remained silent, looking at her phone. She was wondering why Selene didn't approach her last night. If she was with her fiancee, Micaela was thinking that it was a good opportunity to introduce them to each other.

Micaela was still thinking when she felt a strong hand, pulling her towards the bed.

"Hey, what are you doing? Let me go!" Micaela complained when Mr. M forced her to sit on his lap.

Mr. M just chuckled because of Micaela's reaction.
