When Selene left to find Renz, Eros walked towards the dance floor, approaching Azrael. It took several seconds before Azrael noticed Eros's presence.

The moment their eyes met, Azrael heaved a sigh of relief. It looked like he came here to see Eros.

"Finally, I found you! I've been searching for you. Why are you good at concealing your spiritual energy?" Azrael nagged at Eros right away the moment he reached his spot.

Eros arched his eyebrow and said, "Well, I am really concealing my spiritual energy for that reason. I don't want you to follow me around and pester me. Hahaha."

Eros returned Azrael's ranting with a teasing. Azrael just narrowed his eyes at Eros.

"Anyway, come with me. Let's find a quiet place to talk. This place is so loud and noisy. I have something important to tell you," Azrael's expression had become serious when he said those words to Eros.

Eros had stopped teasing Azrael too as he could hear the urgency in his voice.

"Alright. Let's go outside. But be sure to make it quick. Selene might wonder if she can't see me here."

Soon the two heavenly beings teleported outside. They flew in the night sky and decided to land in one big floating cloud.

Eros lay down leisurely as if he was lying on the soft cushion of the bed. His eyes were focused on the stars above them.

"Are we here to talk or do star gazing?" Azrael snorted at him.

Eros just chuckled at his remarks. "We can do both. Now tell me. Why did you come searching for me?"

"There's an important update I got from the Netherworld."

Eros sat up immediately when he heard that. "Is it related to Selene?"

Azrael sighed deeply. "Okay, relax. I will tell you one by one so you must pay attention to what I am about to say."

Eros bobbed his head vigorously, eagerly waiting to hear him out.

"Zaki is on the move. Now, I know the reason why Zaki didn't find out what happened to Selene and the Book of Death. Something happened in the Netherworld during that time."

Azrael paused for a moment as he joined Eros. He sat down next to him before continuing.

"A soul escaped the Netherworld on that same day Selene had died. Zaki became occupied searching for that soul that's why he didn't notice that something weird happened to the book of death."

Eros glanced at Azrael with a confused look. "So does it mean Zaki still have no idea about our deal and the special incident that transpired in the human world wherein Selene died instead of the person written in the Book of Death?"

Azrael's face suddenly became problematic when he heard Eros's query.

"To tell you honestly Eros, I'm a little bit worried right now," Azrael said, feeling anxious and uneasy.

"About what?"

Even Eros couldn't help but feel nervous seeing Azrael acting like this. When it came to Zaki, Azrael would always cower in fear. He was really afraid of him.

"Zaki is really mad and in a bad mood because of the soul who escaped from the Netherworld. I heard that the soul possessed a person and had killed someone."

Eros was taken aback when he heard that. 'A soul escaped from the Netherworld. Went back to the human world and possessed a person. After that, someone was killed.'

"Does it mean, the soul became an evil spirit? He killed and harmed a living person!" Eros uttered after he recovered from the shock.

Azrael nodded his head. "But that was not our main concern here. Because of that incident, Zaki was now looking into the record of the Book of Death. I am worried that he might notice something strange and he will find out about Selene's case."

"Well, if that happens, get ready to receive your punishment from Zaki. Hahaha. Me? I have nothing to worry about because my Mother Angel will back me up," Eros said, boasting and at the same time, frightening Azrael.

"I think my scythe is dying to kill an immortal cupid right now. Should I try if it will work?" He threatened Eros while squinting his eyes at him.

He was already worried sick here but Eros was still making him anxious by mentioning Zaki's punishment.

Eros just burst out laughing. "What an irony? Killing an immortal? Relax, I am just kidding. Don't take it to the heart. So how is it? Did Zaki find something?"

Azrael massaged his temples. So many complications happened that day.

"Do you know what? Zaki indeed found something strange." Azrael told Eros, glancing at the night sky.

"Really? So what is it?" Eros asked him with intrigue.

"The name of the person who was killed by the escaped soul was not found in the Book of Death. It was not recorded on the page."

"Oh, so Selene and that person have the same situation. Their names are not written in the book of death. So what happened to the soul of the person? Is he or she in the land of the lost souls and can't enter the Netherworld?" Eros said, scratching his head.

"Now, to think about it, I wonder what Zaki will do to that human soul who is not written in the Book of Death? Will Zaki give it another chance to live just like what we did to Selene?"

Azrael shook his head. "There is another problem. The soul of the person who died because of that escaped soul had gone missing. Zaki couldn't find the soul in the land of the lost souls!"

"WHAT? How is that possible?" Eros asked him exasperatedly.

"I don't have any idea either. I just heard this news from another grim reaper that I met during my mission. He also told me that Zaki will summon us soon. He will divide the tasks: finding the missing human soul and the soul that turned into an evil spirit."

Eros just nodded his head. Then he hastily turned to Azrael as he realized something.

"So how is it related to Selene?"

"I never told you that this is related to Selene. I just want to share with you that something strange happened in the Netherworld and that I have an important mission to do now." Azrael said nonchalantly while shrugging his shoulders.

Eros: "..."

"SCRAM UGLY SKELETON GRIM REAPER! You just wasted my time!"

"Hey, I'm just kidding. I already told you. Zaki might discover what happened to Selene and about our deal if he will continue looking into the book of death."

Was this incident really unrelated to Selene or this had some connection with her?

While Eros and Azrael were having a conversation outside, Selene continued searching for Renz.

Eros mentioned that Renz could be outside the hall so she went out of the venue to check. Selene was already outside but she didn't see any sign of Renz.

She continued to walk ahead, hoping that she would find Renz. It did not take long when she finally caught a glimpse of Renz's familiar figure.

She was about to approach him and call him out when she noticed that he was not alone. Renz was talking to someone and that someone was a woman.
