After two songs, Selene and Renz took a rest and went back to their table. Renz's friends including the birthday celebrant were also there, enjoying their drinks.

They just sat down when the sweet music was replaced by lively disco music. The real party had just started. They even changed the lightings inside the hall as if they were inside a classy nightclub.

The majority of the guests went to the dance floor and were now dancing to the beat of the music. Selene's gaze swept around the hall, watching the people dancing on the dance floor with amusement and fascination in her brown eyes.

"Do you wanna dance again?" The venue was now engulfed with loud noisy lively music so Renz had to lean closer to her ear when speaking so that she could hear it clearly.

Selene waved her hand and shook her head. "No! No! I'm just amused watching them."

Renz chuckled before nodding his head. Soon, Arthur approached Renz, whispering something to him.

"Selene, are you okay if I will just leave you here for a while? Arthur and I will just have to talk about something." Renz informed Selene.

"Don't worry about Selene. We will take care of her. Let us have girl's bonding here," Meghan butted in even before Selene could respond to Renz.

"Hmm, I like that!" Samantha also agreed, feeling excited.

After talking to Selene, Samantha found out that she was not a snob just like what her other friends were thinking. She was fun to talk to and she was comfortable with her.

Selene also gave Renz a reassuring smile. "I'm fine. You go and talk with Arthur. Samantha and Meghan will accompany me here."

"Alright. I'll be right back soon," Renz softly said to her.

Meanwhile, Arthur and Meghan exchanged meaningful glances with one another. They already planned everything. They agreed on separating Renz and Selene for a while. Meghan would try making Selene drunk while Arthur would keep Renz occupied.

Aside from that, Meghan would try to make Selene jealous. She connived with Noel and Declan. She didn't inform Samantha about her plan because she knew she would not cooperate with them.

When Renz and Arthur left their table, Meghan suggested playing a game. Everyone agreed with her suggestion including Selene.

"Since this is the first time Selene had joined us, let's play 'Never Have I Ever" in order to know each other more!" Meghan said to the group.

"Wow, this is gonna be fun. Is it alright for you, Selene?" Noel consulted her.

Selene who was trying to build a good impression on them just nodded her head. She would go with the flow if this was the only way she would get closer to Renz's friends.

"Alright, let's do this!" Declan mumbled cheerfully.

"Samantha, please explain to Selene how we are going to play this game," Meghan said, letting Samantha discuss the ground rules of playing this kind of game.

"Each of us will take turns and say a statement Never Have I Ever… for example, I will say Never have I ever gone to the beach. Everyone who has gone to the beach will take the punishment of drinking!"

Selene understood the game after Samantha explained it to her.

"This is a Truth Challenge game so everyone should be honest. We also need to elaborate to the group if ever we had done the statement. This way we will get to know each other more." Meghan added to Samantha's explanation.

After a while, the four of them sat in a circle facing each other while raising their right hands. Whoever did the statement he or she needed to bring his or her hand down indicating that she or he would have to take the penalty.

Meghan asked the waiter to bring tequila drinks to their table. That would be their punishment drink. Samantha was the first one who threw the statement. Knowing her friends, she targeted them in this first round.

Samantha: "Never have I ever cheated on someone."

Selene and Samantha were the only ones whose hands were still up.

Noel, Declan, and Meghan glared at Samantha after hearing that statement. Samantha just burst out laughing.

"Okay guys, now tell us your cheating stories," Samantha said, teasing her friends.

Declan: "I did it with my first girlfriend during high school. I dated another girl from another school."

Noel: "I did it just recently. That's why my girlfriend and I broke up. She caught me kissing an actress."

Meghan: "I was attracted to my two handsome suitors so I dated them at the same time."

"Wow, so Renz and his circle of friends have a bad habit of cheating on their partners."

Selene: "..."

Selene glanced at her side only to see Eros standing next to her. He was back. It was Eros who made that side comment.

"Well, at least Samantha didn't do it," Eros added.

Selene didn't know whether to cry or laugh because of Eros's remarks. But she brought her attention back to Renz's friends as the game continued. They were done drinking one shot of tequila.

After Samantha, it was now Meghan's turn to throw a statement.

Meghan: "Never I have ever stayed up all night reviewing my subjects before the exam."

Only Selene put down her hand. They were not surprised at all. They heard from Renz that Selene was a very studious student.

"Hahaha, There's no question at all. This has just proven that the four of us are lazy when it comes to studying." Noel cracked some jokes.

"This only meant Selene had to take the punishment drinks!" Meghan said excitedly before giving her the tequila.

Selene stared at the glass for a moment. She gulped hard. This was the first time she would be tasting this drink. She had tried red wine and other wines in her previous life but not hard drinks like tequila.

"Are you really going to drink that? What will you do if you get drunk?" Eros asked Selene with a warning in his voice as if Eros was her another conscience.

Selene reflexively bobbed her head. She had no choice. This was part of the game and part of the rules. She had to do it.

Then she glanced at Eros, her eyes seemed to tell him "It's alright. If ever I get drunk, you will take care of me, right?"
