Selene was all dolled up in a white dress and high heels when she came out of her room. The whole makeover was handled by Eros.

Selene was already outside but Eros still remained inside her room. He stood there frozen in his spot while watching Selene's back.

He was mesmerized by his own creation. He knew that Selene was a beauty but after he was done doing her hair and makeup, Selene's beauty skyrocketed ten times. He almost forgot that the beautiful maiden in front of him a while ago was Selene.

'Dang! I think I overdid it. I have the urge to pull Selene back here and redo her hair and makeup. She would surely attract men with her beautiful and otherworldly appearance,' Eros began to have a second thought.

Meanwhile, Selene saw Renz and her grandmother talking downstairs. She paused for a moment, placing her hand on her chest. She was nervous and at the same time, very excited.

She didn't know if she would be able to impress Renz tonight and attract his full attention. She wanted to know how he would react upon seeing her.

She took her time first, watching Renz from the distance. As usual, Renz was very gorgeous in his white tuxedo with his clean-shaven look.

She was glad that he was also wearing white. They would look like a couple in love with their matching dress and tux. Well, the word 'couple in love' was just part of her wishful thinking.

Selene was still observing Renz, admiring his good looks when Renz gazed up. His hazel eyes met her brown eyes. They stared at each other for several seconds.

Selene saw the stunned expression on his handsome face the moment his eyes found her. Renz was put in the dazed for several seconds, just staring at Selene.

He only snapped out of his deep stupor when Grandma Elysa spoke up, calling Selene.

"Ohoh, my precious granddaughter! What a lovely maiden you've become now? Now I can see that my little princess is now a fine lady… so beautiful," Grandma Elysa couldn't stop herself from admiring her granddaughter's beauty.

She was so stunning in her white silk sleeveless above-the-knee dress. The white soft silk fabric was decorated with feathers and tiny sparkling diamonds. The cut and shape of the dress perfectly emphasized Selene's fine assets.

The length of her dress was not short and not too long, but enough to expose her flawless pair of long legs. The fitness and tightness of the dress on her body accentuated her spectacular curves and her two beautiful round mounds.

She looked like an angel who fell from heaven and she was now trapped on Earth. Renz almost didn't recognize her at first. She looked very different from the Selene he used to know. He had to admit that he was starstruck by her beauty.

After Renz recovered from the dazed, he finally moved from his spot going to the stairs. Selene was already descending and Renz approached her in the middle of the stairs.

He reached out and offered his right hand to Selene. She gladly accepted it with a gentle smile on her face.

Renz returned her smile, giving her a compliment. " Selene, you are so beautiful tonight."

The blood rushed on Selene's cheeks right away after hearing his words. This was the first time he praised and complimented her so she couldn't help but blush. She was flattered.

"Thank you."

Selene could only utter those two words. She was overwhelmed by Renz's reaction. Eros was right. Renz was treating her like a princess tonight. She was very satisfied, wanting to reward Eros for the job well done.

That's the time Selene had remembered Eros. She turned around, searching for him. But she didn't see him. She thought he was following her from behind.

'Eh, where is Eros? I thought he would accompany me to the party.' She marveled at that thought, still peering at her surroundings. She was hoping to find Eros but he didn't show up.

Little did she know, Eros was still rooted in his previous spot, still trying to recover his wits. He just lost it after witnessing Selene's breathtaking and mindblowing beauty.

"Selene, are you ready? Let's go?" Renz softly asked Selene.

Selene just nodded her head, staring upstairs for one last time. When she didn't find Eros, she turned to her grandma, hugging her as she and Renz said goodbye to her.

"Drive carefully, Renz. Take care of my granddaughter."

"Yes, grandma. I will."

"Grandma, sleep early. Don't wait for me, okay? And don't worry too much about me. I have a guardian angel!" Selene said to her grandmother, winking.

She was referring to Eros, not Renz. But Grandma Elysa thought she meant that Renz was her guardian angel.

Grandma Elysa just giggled because of that. She really loved to see her bubbly attitude.

"Alright. Just have fun, both of you."

Grandma Elysa sent them off first before she went back to the house. She was glad that Selene was starting to socialize and mingle with others.

Grandma Elysa could still remember Selene's childhood wherein she preferred to be alone in her room than to play with other children. It all started when her parents died.

She locked herself up inside her own world and created an invisible barrier in which only Grandma Elysa could enter.

She didn't want that to happen again once she would leave Selene's behind. So, she was counting on Renz and Micaela to help Selene cope up by the time she would no longer be by her side.

Grandma Elysa loved Selene so much that she would do anything for her.

"My precious Selene, once I'm gone I will also make sure that I will watch over you and be your guardian angel too," she said, watching Renz's car as they left the mansion.

Eros heard Grandma Elysa when he came out of Selene's room. He finally moved from his spot and now he was about to follow Selene and Renz to the party.
