Six days had passed and tonight would be the Birthday Celebration of Arthur. Renz and Selene agreed that he would pick her at Anderson Family Mansion at around 7:00 o'çlock in the evening.

For the past few days, Selene had been staying at their Family Mansion together with her grandma. She was no longer living in her dormitory. She made this decision so that she could take care of her grandma personally and monitor her health.

Since she already learned how to drive in her previous life, Selene processed her driver's license and bought a new car. She could travel back and forth every day from school going to their house and vice versa.

She also stopped visiting Renz in his company as she was focusing all her attention and time on her grandma. It was also a perfect strategy for Renz to miss her.

Eros's and Selene's "You-Will-Miss-Me-Strategy" was working just fine. Renz began to think about Selene, wondering why she had stopped visiting him for the past few days.

Because of that, he asked his assistant to check and visit Selene in her dormitory only to find out that Selene was already staying in their mansion.

Since then, Renz made progress in checking on her via phone calls and text messages in which was very seldom for him to do so in Selene's previous life.

Today, Selene was stuck in front of her wardrobe for an hour now. She still couldn't decide what dress she would wear tonight. There were only three hours left before Renz would fetch her.

She was very nervous and anxious. This was the first time she would attend a party wherein she had to mingle with the other socialites in the City of Sierra. She didn't want to embarrass herself in front of Renz and his friends.

Eros who just came back from his personal errand saw Selene in her panicking mode. Her face was already painted with anxiety. She felt like she wanted to back out and just stay at home with her grandma.

"Eh, excuse me, Selene? What are you doing? Why does your room look like it was visited by a typhoon?" Eros asked Selene, looking at different clothes scattered messily on the top of her bed.

Selene's eyes sparkled as if she had just seen her savior coming to her rescue.

"My angel, please help! I don't know what dress I should wear for this occasion. Can you choose it for me?" There was a hint of helplessness in her voice.

"I will also ask my grandma to help me with my hair and makeup once I am done choosing my dress for tonight."

Eros facepalmed while shaking his head helplessly. He just disappeared for an hour and now Selene was on the verge of crying just because she could not choose a dress for tonight's party.

'Does she really feel pressured about attending this party? She looks stressed and haggard. There were dark circles under her eyes, proof that she hadn't slept last night just thinking about this Birthday Party.

Eros walked over, stopping in front of Selene. His eyes scanned her from top to bottom. Selene just watched him in confusion.

"Eros, I said help me choose a dress. Your gaze should be inspecting the dresses on the bed and inside my wardrobe, not me," Selene complained at Eros.

She felt a little bit conscious seeing Eros's eyes wandering around her body as if she was a subject for a thorough inspection.

'Aah, this woman. She badly needs a makeover. This is the time she should impress Renz and make him drool over her beauty. Hmm. Time to work, Eros!' Little Eros smirked meaningfully, still looking at Selene.

After he was done calculating and estimating Selene's body size, Eros had already designed a dress that was suited for her in his mind.

"Ahem, I think it's time to become your 'Fairy Godmother' today and transform you into a White beautiful Swan!" Eros said, cracking some jokes to help Selene relax.

Selene's loud giggles echoed in her room. She burst out laughing because of Eros's last statement.

"Eros! Not White Beautiful Swan… It should be Cinderella. She is the one who has a fairy godmother!" Selene corrected Eros after she was done laughing out loud.

Eros smirked at her, lifting an eyebrow. "Who said I will turn you into Cinderella? That fairytale story doesn't suit you."

"Eh, why do you think so? Is it because I am not poor and I don't have step-sisters and a step-mother?"

Eros shook his head before saying, "Because I don't think Renz is a prince nor a prince charming."

Selene: "..."

She was rendered speechless. She didn't know if it was just her or she heard displeasure in Eros's voice upon mentioning Renz's name.

After a while, Selene shrugged her shoulders and didn't pay much attention to Eros's last words. Her main concern now was to choose an appropriate dress for her.

"By the way, my little angel, where have you been? I've been waiting for you, hoping you can help me with this. Can you now choose a dress for me?"

Instead of answering her, Eros raised his hand. Using his magic power, he moved all the clothes scattered on her bed back to her wardrobe. He snapped his fingers and the door of her closet suddenly closed.

Bam!

"Eh, why did you return them?"

"You don't need them. I will make the dress for you just like what the fairy godmother did for Cinderella."

Without waiting for Selene's reply, Eros snapped his fingers once again. Then something magical happened in that room.

A circle of lights as big as a basketball ball appeared in front of them. It did not take long when the lights dispersed, blinding Selene for a moment.

The moment she opened her eyes and her vision became clear once, Selene saw a white dress floating in front of her. It was pure white and made with silk, white feathers, and thousands of tiny sparkling diamonds.

"Oh my gosh! It's beautiful!" Selene uttered with amazement in her eyes.
