Micaela's answer surprised Eros and Selene. Because of that, Mr. M's identity became a mystery to Eros and Selene. But one thing was for sure. Micaela was definitely hiding something from Selene.

Selene felt saddened because she just confirmed it. Micaela was not telling her everything. She really thought that Micaela was treating her as her best friend but she couldn't even share with Selene her connection with Mr. M.

'If she doesn't have a boyfriend then what is her relationship with Mr. M? If he is not her boyfriend then how come she was acting intimately with him? What is that… just friends with benefits?'

These were the questions running in Selene's mind right now. Eros was also racking his brain so hard, thinking of the possible connection Micaela had with Mr. M. He became more suspicious of Micaela's motive for befriending Selene.

'Was it intentional? Is there a possibility that Micaela just approached Selene in the beginning because she wanted something from her? If she did, then what is her goal? What does she want from Selene?'

"Hmm, no boyfriend? I can't believe this, Micaela. You are so pretty. Lots of men will come, chasing after you! How come you don't have a boyfriend yet?"

'Yes, you are very pretty that even my fiancé falls for you,' Selene mumbled to herself.

Micaela just let out a soft giggle after hearing that. "Best, why are you suddenly asking me this? Are you planning to set me up with someone? Hmm, I told you before that I would focus on my studies first. Having a boyfriend is not my main priority right now. Besides, I have you, my best friend!"

Selene sighed helplessly. It looked like Micaela had no plan of telling her about Mr. M's existence.

"Hmm, one last question, best!"

"Okay, just tell me."

The two girls were now staring at each other's eyes.

"If not a boyfriend, then how about a special someone?" Selene asked her again.

Micaela just ended up laughing because of Selene's persistence. "Best, you are becoming nosy now. What happened to you last night?"

Selene pouted her lips while shaking her head. "Nothing. I'm just curious because you haven't mentioned any guy to me yet or even introduce someone you like."

"Because I have no one," Micaela insisted. "Unlike you, I am not committed. Oh since you brought this up. Now it's my turn to question you and complain."

"When will you introduce your fiancé to me? You talked a lot about him but I have never met him yet in person." Micaela asked her back while raising an eyebrow.

This time Selene was at a loss for words. She had no plan of letting Renz and Micaela meet each other through her. Not now, not yet. Renz was still not in love with her.

"Oh, he is a very busy man. Don't worry, I will introduce him to you if ever he gets a lot of free time," Selene said as an alibi.

Micaela just smiled at her faintly before nodding her head.

"Yeah, I know that. I noticed that you are the one who is always visiting him in his office. You should scold him for letting a woman do that! The man should be the one visiting the woman. Tell him to visit you at the campus."

Selene just bobbed her head, smiling sheepishly at her. She didn't demand anything from Renz before. She was too shy to ask him to visit her in the school. Besides, she knew that Renz was busy managing the company, and her family's company.

When Selene's parents died, her grandmother decided to merge their company with Renz's company. They had no choice but to do that for the sake of the company and their employees.

"Focus on making Renz fall for you, not on doing a detective thing. If you want then just hire someone to follow and monitor Micaela's movement!"

Selene's eyes lit up when she heard that. She immediately pulled Eros into a hug, squeezing him hard. "Ouch. Selene! Be gentle!"
