After visiting the Angel's Agape Realm, Eros returned to the human world. Though he didn't get the answer he was looking for from the Mother Angel, he felt relieved that Sienna would back them up against Zaki.

Zaki was the most strict and scariest leader of the grim reapers. But don't get it wrong. He looked scary not because of his appearance but because of his attitude and behavior.

In the grim reaper's realm, Zaki was the rule. Failure to follow the rule was equivalent to endless suffering from torture, severe punishment, and even death.

Death did not literally mean the grim reaper would die just like humans. The death to them meant they would be banished from the grim reaper's realm and they would lose their immortality.

The Angel's Agape Realm of cupids had the same punishment but the grim reapers were more strict when it came to implementing their rules.

Compared to the cupids, grim reapers needed to be more disciplined when it came to their task and assignments because they were afraid to receive Zaki's wrath.

That was the reason why Azrael panicked when Selene died. She was not the soul he was supposed to collect and guide to the Netherworld that day.

Eros was lost in his train of thoughts that he failed to realize that he was back at Selene's home. It was already nighttime when he arrived. Selene, Micaela, and Grandma Elysa were already inside their respective rooms.

Eros teleported to Selene's room to check on her. She was already lying on the bed but still wide awake.

"Why are you still awake?" Eros asked Selene, flying towards her bed.

Eros settled down on the edge of her bed, facing Selene. Selene's lips curled up into a gentle smile upon seeing Eros. She sat up and leaned her back on the headboard.

"I'm waiting for you to come back. You suddenly disappeared again without informing me," Selene said, pouting her lips and crossing her arms over her chest.

"I don't want to disturb you. Besides, I know you were busy bonding with your grandma. Are you happy?"

Selene bobbed her head vigorously while hugging her pillow. "Yeah, I'm so happy. It's good to be back. The feeling is surreal, seeing my grandmother again, talking and laughing with her."

"I'm so glad that I followed your advice. I didn't regret coming back. Every moment with her is very precious to me." There was a glow of happiness in her brown eyes. Selene felt grateful.

Eros could only smile after seeing her blissful expression.

"By the way, where did you go?" Selene's curious voice was heard. Her eyes were fixed on Eros's face, waiting for his reply.

"I visited the angel's realm. I will not be back for several months so I said goodbye to our mother angel properly."

"Is she your mother? Does an angel have a mother too, like us humans? Can I meet her?" Selene asked Eros innocently, feeling elated. She looked at him with amusement.

Eros shook his head. "Not a mother that you think. We call her mother angel because she's the head or leader of the cupids. We didn't come out of her womb."

"I'll tell you another secret…" Eros moved closer to Selene and whispered something. "She looks very young as if she is just our sister. She's very beautiful too. You will be starstruck once you see her."

Eros smirked playfully after saying that. Selene, on the other hand, gasped in surprise, covering her mouth.

"Really? Can I meet her? Does she visit Earth as well?" She became more curious about the mother angel.

Eros paused for a moment, rubbing his small chin while thinking. "I don't know if you will have a chance to meet her. She seldom visits the human world but she can monitor what is happening here on Earth through a large magic crystal ball."

Selene heaved a frustrated sigh. She wanted to meet the mother angel to thank her personally since Eros mentioned to her before that she was the one who sent Eros to help her.

"Oh, speaking of monitoring, there's something I wanna tell and ask you. It's about your B-friend, Micaela," Eros brought it up as soon as he remembered the spying he did on Micaela this morning.

"Really? What is it that you found out?" Selene was intrigued. She wondered what kind of information Eros had gathered today about Micaela.

"Do you know a guy called Mr. M? He seems very close to Micaela and has a close relationship with her."

Selene's eyebrows knitted into a frown. In her previous life, Micaela didn't mention Mr. M to her or even introduce them to each other.

Selene scratched her head, trying to scan her memory about Mr. M. After a few moments, Selene finally remembered something.

"I didn't meet him before but I recalled that I accidentally saw Mr. M on Micaela's phone. He was calling her frequently during our last year in College. Oh, it's this year! What did you learn about Mr. M? Do you think he is also related to the kidnapping incident?"

Eros shook his head. He was not sure about Mr. M's identity or motive to harm Selene or Renz.

"Hmm, nothing I am sure about yet. But I overheard her conversation with Mr. M this morning."

"What did you hear? Tell me…" Selene asked Eros expectantly.

Eros arched his eyebrow, hesitating whether to tell Selene or not.

"Please… I'm curious! Share it with me, my cute little angel," Selene begged, staring at him with puppy-dog eyes.

"Are you sure you wanna know?" Eros asked to confirm.

Selene bobbed her head frantically while rubbing her hands in front of him, pleading. With that Eros decided to tell Selene what he heard but he summarized only the important points that he remembered.

Selene straightened her back and paid attention to Eros. She was now silent, all ears on Eros.

"Mr. M said he called Micaela because he missed her! It seemed that Micaela was not happy to receive his call. She was slightly rude when answering him. Then the man started teasing her."

"What did he say?"

"He said Micaela was fierce and harsh whenever she would talk back at him but when they were in bed, all she could do was moan and surrender to him. He also mentioned having a great night with her." Eros continued talking, trying to finish relaying everything to Selene.

"He missed eating her sweet pie. She's delicious. He wondered when he could eat her again. Micaela threatened him that she would hang up the phone but Mr. M also warned her that she would be punished and he would not give her a rest once they were in bed again."

"To summarize, Mr. M just called her because he missed her sweet pie. He missed eating her pie and Micaela is also enjoying it whenever he does!"

Selene: "..."

Selene's eyes widened and her jaw dropped after Eros finished relaying the message to her.
