Selene was sitting on her bed while watching Eros walking back and forth across her room. Her eyes were just following his movements, waiting for him to speak up.

He looked like a sixty-year-old man in his eight-year-old body as he rubbed his chin while racking his brain so hard. He was in deep thought while wearing a very serious expression.

'What a cute cupid I have here? Even with a serious expression like that, he is still charming,' Selene smiled inwardly at that thought.

Eros finally stopped in front of her and talked. "You know what Selene, it seems that you spoiled your fiancee too much to the extent that you are clinging to him every day!"

"Some guys will not like a woman like that. Learn to give him space or else, he will feel suffocated or pressured every time you are around. As of now, I can tell that he sees you as a sister, not as a woman," Eros said to her his honest opinion.

Selene was aware of that. Renz had told her his true feelings towards her before she died.

Eros took a deep breath while shaking his head. From Selene's expression, he knew that this information was not new to her.

Eros visited Renz at his company today. He spied on him and overheard his conversation with his assistant and one of his friends. The three men were talking about Selene.

When Eros saw Renz in his company, the Star Corp, he could understand why Selene fell for him. He looked like a very fine man. He was gorgeous in his three-piece corporate black suit.

He had deep beautiful hazel eyes and charming lips that could melt any woman's heart once he smiled at her. He was neat and clean with his clean-shaven look. Her fiancee was indeed a charming guy.

But Renz's attractive look was not the important thing he discovered during his spying. He recalled in his mind the conversation between Renz and his assistant.

Renz was sitting on his executive chair while working on his laptop when his assistant entered his office, bringing some documents for him to sign.

"Sir, should I reserve a table again in a restaurant tonight? Will you and Lady Selene have a dinner date again? I think she might be on her way now to see you." his assistant asked Renz.

Before Renz could respond, another figure spoke up from behind. A guy wearing a white suit entered his office. He was Renz's friend, Arthur.

"Your fiancee is really a persistent woman, coming here every day to visit you. Hahaha. Is she afraid that you will be stolen by other girls? Is she keeping her eyes on you? How can you stand that Renz?" Arthur asked Renz with a mocking smile on his face.

Eros had the urge to punch someone after hearing that remarks. He clenched his fists while glaring at the newcomer, Arthur.

Renz stopped working on his laptop and gazed at the two men.

"Watch your words, Arthur. Did you just come here to tell me that?" Renz slightly scolded his friend but he didn't defend Selene's action.

"Why? I am just stating a fact here. I noticed that every day your fiancee is coming here after her class. Does your company become her hang-out place now, my dear friend?"

Arthur couldn't hide his displeasure towards Selene. He was always biased on her. He thought Selene was just a little girl who didn't deserve his friend.

Renz's assistant just remained silent. He didn't dare to speak ill about Selene because she's Renz's fiancee and she's very kind towards him.

Renz, on the other hand, gave Arthur a warning look, signaling him to stop talking. They were not alone in that room.

Arthur finally changed the topic when he saw Renz's grim expression. "Man, don't take it to the heart. I'm just kidding. By the way, are you not coming with me tonight? The group will gather tonight and hang out. Wanna join us?"

Renz contemplated for a moment before answering him. "I'll pass tonight. Selene might come again today. Maybe I'll join you on the weekend."

Arthur let out a dry laugh. He already expected this. He walked over and patted Renz's shoulder.

"I pity you, my dear friend. Your little fiancee is sticking to you like bubble gum. Because of her, you can't even enjoy your moments with your friends. Do you even love her? Or you are just doing this because you feel responsible for her?"

Renz pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes at Arthur. He didn't say a word.

Meanwhile, Eros was trying to control himself from ripping Arthur's mouth. He didn't know why but he was very pissed after hearing his words ridiculing Selene.

Before he could do something he was not supposed to do, Eros left them and went back to Selene's dormitory.

"Eros, is there something wrong? Why do I feel like you are in a bad mood today?" Selene asked Eros upon noticing his dark expression.

Eros couldn't help it. He just remembered the scene that transpired in Renz's office. He hated the fact that someone was badmouthing Selene and Renz didn't even try to defend her against his friend.

Eros walked closer to Selene and grabbed her shoulders as he started talking to her.

"Selene, listen to me. To make Renz fall for you, you should let him miss you! How would he miss you if you were spending most of your time with him… visiting him every day?!"

Selene just watched Eros in amusement. 'Why does he sound so mad? Can't he just give me advice in a very calm manner?'

Eros continued, "Don't see him every day. Starting today, don't come into his company. If he misses you, he will think about you. Then he will think about his feelings for you."

"Though our main goal is to win his heart, you should be patient. If you think that you will explode if you will not profess your love as soon as possible then listen to me carefully, this is about timing."

"Don't always give… learn to take as well Selene. Don't rely on him for your happiness. Don't make him the center of your universe. Love yourself first."

Selene was speechless. She just nodded her head absentmindedly. She wondered how an angel who looked like a child was full of wisdom about this. Well, he was called a cupid for nothing.
