'She thinks of me as... a pervert, a thief, and a psycho?'

Eros didn't know whether to laugh or cry. In his million years being a cupid and helping humans to find their love, this was the first time someone called him that.

The most depressing part was that she even said it although she saw his gorgeous look he was very proud of. Unknowingly, Selene just hurt his ego.

'Ah! This is so embarrassing! This was the first time a human saw my true appearance but in the end, she mistook me as a pervert, thief, and psycho?! Where is justice?' Eros lamented to himself.

'They said the first impression last? Does it mean, her first impression of my true form will always be those? No way! I can't let that happen! I care about my reputation! I will not let one incident ruin it in the eyes of this girl.'

Eros just sighed deeply. Selene was still hugging him tightly. He almost couldn't breathe because of the tightness of her grip.

'Is this girl trying to suffocate me?' Eros complained inwardly. Then he noticed that his small face was pressed to something very soft.

Eros's eyes widened as he realized that his small face was leaning in between Selene's beautiful round mounds that he just saw a while ago. The blood rushed to his face instantly.

'Oh God, please help me erase these negative thoughts in my mind right now. Temptation is really proven to be deadly and dangerous!'

Eros tried his best to escape from Selene's tight grasp. "Selene… let me go now! I can't breathe!" He said as an excuse.

Selene immediately released him the moment she heard that. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just so happy to see you here. Did the pervert leave my room already? Did you see him?"

'Here we go again. She calls me a pervert once again. Argh!'

"Yes. He already left," Eros flatly answered her before turning around. He looked away from Selene because she was not wearing any clothes. Her flawless body was wrapped only by a towel.

She heaved a sigh of relief. She was glad that the strange man just left her room without harming her.

"Go back now and continue taking your bath. You don't have to worry. You are safe here. No one will harm you," Eros reassured her.

"Eh, how did you know that I am not done yet?" Selene asked him curiously.

Eros was taken aback for a moment, thinking about what to reply. Selene must not know that the strange man a while ago was him.

Fortunately, he noticed that Selene's body was still covered by soap. "Cough! Cough!" He cleared his throat first before answering her. "You still have bubbles and soap on your skin. Go and finish your bath now. I will guard you here, outside."

When she heard that, Selene didn't suspect that Eros and the silver-gray-haired man were just one person.

"Alright, thanks a lot, my angel! You're the best!" Selene said cheerfully before coming back into the bathroom.

Eros could finally relax when Selene disappeared from his sight. "Argh, that girl… is she not embarrassed at all facing me with only a towel on her body? Did she forget that I am a man?"

Eros shook his head helplessly as he watched the closed door of Selene's bathroom.

Little did he know, Selene was not embarrassed at all since in her eyes he was just a kid, not a grown man so she didn't really care.

Eros waited for Selene to finish bathing. When she was done and had finally changed into her clothes, Selene and Eros faced each other in her bed.

"So, I'm finally back. Alive and kicking." Selene said, asking for Eros's confirmation.

"Yes, you are back." He simply stated to her.

"Eh, but how come I am here in my dormitory? I already graduated five years ago." There was confusion in her eyes as she asked him this question.

"Hmm, because you were sent back to the time five years ago."

"Eh??? But why? Can't I go back from the time before I die? I mean a month or a week before I die. Why bring me back 5 years ago?" Selene asked him inquisitively.

Eros shrugged his shoulders and said, "It's not us to decide. Azrael mentioned that you couldn't return from the recent time. It should be in the past. That's all I know. I think this time is 5 years ago."

"So, that means I went back to the past… 5 years ago from the present time. So I am still in the last year of my college year."

Eros nodded his head as a response.

"Yes, so typically you are a 24-year old human soul in a 19-year old human body," Eros said, informing her.

Selene fell silent after hearing that. If she's back in this time then Renz and Micaela have not met each other yet. Or in other words, they were not yet in love with each other.

"That makes sense!" Selene suddenly blurted out that caught Eros's attention.

"What makes sense?" He asked her in confusion.

"Micaela and Renz are not yet lovers. They haven't met each other yet. So it will help us implement our plan to make Renz fall for me instead of Micaela."

"Hmm, you are right. Maybe that's one of the reasons you were reborn 5 years ago from the present time," Eros said, bobbing his head.

"So I can change my fate starting today? The things that will happen five years from now, I can still change it? I can avoid it from happening again?"

She could still remember some of her memories before she died. Was this truly her second chance to have her happy ending?

Eros didn't answer her right away. He looked like he was contemplating something. Then after a few seconds, he just nodded at her and said a simple "Yes" as a response.

But he spoke again to remind her, "Selene, not all the things that happened in your future before will be avoided. There are some things you can never change even if you try to."

Eros was thinking about the fateful day. That day when the incident happened where Selene was not supposed to die, it would happen again.

This time Eros and Azrael didn't know whose name would appear in the book of death. But one thing was certain, someone would die on that fateful day. It's inevitable.

Eros was not allowed to tell this to Selene. It was included in the deal Azrael and Eros made to fix the problem that went wrong that day.
