Eros's face brightened up like a ray of glowing sunshine the moment he heard that. He succeeded in convincing Selene to go back and take this second chance to live her life.

With this, Azrael's concern was also fixed and he had nothing to worry about anymore. Once Selene came back to life, the Book of Death would be rewritten. This time they didn't know who would die on that fateful day.

But Azrael, the Angel of Death also known as the Grim Reaper would make sure that when that day comes he would get and guide the soul written in the book of death going to the Netherworld. This time the person who was fated to die would die.

He wouldn't let interference like this happen again. His task went wrong and became problematic when someone died who was not supposed to die. Selene's interference almost gave him big trouble in the Netherworld.

Fortunately, the angel of love offered a proposition to solve this problem right away. He was there listening to Selene and Eros and watching them the whole time.

He just didn't show himself to Selene because Eros and Azrael agreed that Eros would be the one to handle everything and talk to the troublesome girl.

'Sigh, I had the urge to hook her neck using my scythe after hearing her refusal a while ago. Grrrrr… Good thing Eros was able to convince her,' Azrael mumbled to himself as he silently watched the interaction between Eros and Selene while keeping himself hidden.

After a while, Eros moved in front of Selene, showing her a golden scroll where their contract was written. Eros had already prepared the contract beforehand. What he needed to do now was read the content of the contract to Selene and made her sign it to seal the deal between them.

Even the golden scroll looked magical that Selene couldn't help but be fascinated by it.

"So amazing. It's beautiful. I still feel like I am just dreaming right now. I am with a cute and adorable angel holding a magical golden scroll. Can I pinch you again to know whether I am dreaming or not?" Selene asked Eros, flashing her charming smile and puppy-eyes look.

'Dang. I am not a child so I'm not cute. I'm handsome,' Eros groaned inwardly while looking at Selene helplessly.

"No More pinching!" Eros said firmly, pouting his soft lips. "Selene, behave. I'm your Cupid. And I am not here to let you abuse my cheeks. I am here to help you. Now I will read the content of our contract before signing it."

After saying that, Eros presented and read the contract to her. Selene was all eyes and ears on Eros.

~ { CUPID and HUMAN CONTRACT } ~

[ Eros, one of the cupids, will become the partner of the human contractee, Selene. The two of them will work together to do a mission: Capturing and Winning the Heart of Selene's Fiancee, Renz. ]

[ This contract will last for three months. The Cupid Contractor and Human Contractee will work together in doing this mission. ]

[ Human Contractee is not allowed to disclose this contract with anyone, especially the existence of the cupid, or else, the contract will be void. The Cupid Contractor will stop helping the human contractee. ]

[ Upon successfully completing the mission wherein the target person will fall in love with the Human Contractee, the Cupid will be free of his obligation. This means the contract will be done as the cupid has already served his purpose. ]

[ The Cupid can do anything necessary to help the human contractee as long as it will not harm the human contractee and the target person. The Cupid and Human Contractee will stay and stick together during the entire duration of the mission. ]

{ *Important Note*: After the Human-Cupid collaboration is done, the Human Contractee will forget everything about the Cupid. All the memories she has about the cupid will be erased from her mind. }

"Now, all you have to do is sign this contract. After that, I will bring you back to the human world," Eros said, handing her a quill pen made of a white feather that looked like Eros' wings.

Selene accepted the quill pen. Eros also gave her the ink which appeared to be red blood. It's a small amount of Selene's blood taken by Eros from her body.

"By the way, this ink is your own blood. I extracted it from your lifeless body," Eros grinned at Selene.

Selene: "..."

'It seems that he already prepared everything as if he already knew that I would agree with his suggestion,' Selene thought to herself before dipping the quill pen on a crystal containing her blood.

She signed her name on the right bottom corner of the scroll since Eros's name was located in the left bottom corner. After signing her name, the scroll sparkled. It was surrounded by blue and yellow lights indicating that the contract has been sealed.

Selene was in awe, her eyes glowing in amazement. It looked magical as the scroll suddenly moved as it came into life, transforming into a white dove. It did not take long when it flew away and vanished from their sights.

"The contract will now be sent to the Mother Angel of Love for safe-keeping," Eros explained to her. Both of them were staring in the direction where the white dove flew and disappeared from their sights.

Then Eros faced her again, offering her his small hand. Selene paused for a moment just staring at his hand. After a few seconds, she realized that Eros was offering her a handshake. She gladly accepted his hand and smiled tenderly at him.

"From now on, we will be partners. Don't worry, Selene. I will do everything I can to help you and get your love." Eros softly said to her with a hint of promise and assurance.

"Thank you, my dear cupid. I will count on you… my cute little partner."

Eros: "..."

'Grrrrr, that 'cute' word again? I am HANDSOME, not Cute!!'
