Global Lord: Building A Magical God Realm From Scratch Chapter 3

Lindsay took a deep breath.
The Golden Lord's Heart. He had been thinking about it for sixteen years and was finally here.
Now that he actually had the Golden Lord's Heart in his own hands, it felt unreal.
Looking at the exquisite necklace in his hand, it seemed to fit him very well.
The necklace was shaped into a crystal heart with special patterns on it, like some kind of magic rune.
It didn't look like a woman's necklace. It was more masculine.
The Golden Lord's Heart looked very ordinary indeed!
Just as Lindsay was staring at it, a piece of information entered his mind.
[Mysterious Necklace
Type: World Wonder Item
Grade: Unknown
Attributes: Unknown
Description: Unknown]
"World Wonder Item! Isn't this something you can only get in the Endless Demon Territory? Why would it appear here?"
Lindsay was a little puzzled but was still overjoyed.
A World Wonder Item. This was very difficult to obtain. Even in the Endless Demon Territory, farming for such an item was still a one-in-a-million.
He had once learned this knowledge through his studies.
A World Wonder Item was a treasure that was nurtured by gathering the power of the world. It had all sorts of mystical functions.
Some might have effects on a single object or building within a territory, allowing it to quickly level it up or allow it to obtain some different abilities.
Some of them could directly affect the territory, helping the territory to obtain incredible changes.
No matter what, it would be like a level-up for any type of Lord's territory.
'I wasn't bound to any weird system, but I managed to obtain such an object. Isn't this a sign that I actually have the Golden Lord's Heart?
'I thought that God had decided to pull my leg during the awakening ceremony. I didn't expect that there would be another silver lining.
'I remember now. I remember that when I was going through the awakening ceremony, the golden light wasn't being emitted from my Lord's Heart, but from something else on my body. Also, why does this necklace seem so familiar?'
Suddenly, Lindsay's eyes lit up.
"That's right! Isn't this the necklace that I got from those bigshots when I was one of the top 10 students? At that time, things had been looking better in my life.

"I didn't expect it to be a World Wonder Item. I was still wearing it when I was in trouble. So it was this thing that brought me here! No wonder!"
After everything was clear, Lindsay was relieved.
It seemed that it wasn't that he didn't have a Golden Lord's Heart, but that the Golden Lord's Heart had always been by his side.
However, it was only revealed during his awakening ceremony.
If that was the case, what should he do with it now?
It's not like it came with an instruction manual. He didn't know what attributes, qualities, or functions it had.
How was he supposed to figure things out?
...
Just as Lindsay was thinking about how to figure out more about his Golden Lord's Heart...
There were many people present at Queen's High School's meeting room.
They were all of extraordinary bearings and possessed an air of nobility.
"Principal Belhunt, the Alexander Group wants that Alice girl from your school. As long as you just pass my regards to her, I'll immediately donate 100 million to Queen's High School. What do you think?"
"Haha, the Alexander Group wants to obtain a genius with only 100 million? Aren't you being a cheapskate!"
"Principal Belhunt, as long as you are willing to relay our message, the AIX Group is willing to donate 300 million and sponsor three buildings of purple-level quality to you."
"Principal Belhunt, we are willing..."
Hearing the various benefits of these consortia, Belhunt was not the least bit interested.
As for whether the student agreed to join any of the groups, it was not a matter of his own concern.
All of it depended on whether the student was willing. When that female student gained a Purple Lord's Heart, he knew that many large groups would definitely come over to rope her in at the first opportunity.
Therefore, he was also prepared. He didn't want to sacrifice the student's future just to obtain some sort of short-term reward. In fact, he did not like such things happening within school grounds.
If it wasn't for the pressure from the parents over the past few hours, he wouldn't have agreed to let the groups come over to recruit.

Of course, it seemed at first glance that there were more benefits than disadvantages. However, it wasn't good for the future development of the new Lord.
However, many parents did not care about the future of the students as long as there was money to be earned.
It was human nature that parents wanted what was best for themselves.
However, they thought that he was hindering them from earning these benefits, so he could only agree to these large groups coming over to pull people over.
However, he was actually still pondering what had happened earlier that day when someone had awakened with a golden light only for it to become white in the end.
This was the first time he had encountered such a situation after so many years of teaching.
"I don't want to be involved in this matter. You can talk directly to her and let her make a decision for herself!"
Belhunt did not want to say anything more and was about to pick up his magic staff and leave.
However, he was stopped by a man wearing high-level mage robes.
This made Belhunt frown as he said unhappily, "What's wrong, Mr. Ed? Is the Alexander Group prone to getting their way through force?"
With that, his magic staff lit up.
Both of them were high-level mages. As the school's principal, Belhunt was not afraid of him.
He was much more knowledgeable in magic than the other party.
"Hahaha, you misunderstand, Principal Belhunt. Everyone knows that you are the strongest principal amongst the three major high schools. I'm afraid that there are not many people in this city who can defeat you. I just want you to help call that female student over here. We'll communicate with her personally, with no ill-intentions toward you."
The man bowed very politely. As if he knew how abrupt his previous actions were, he quickly gave way to Belhunt.
However, Belhunt knew that he was just pretending to be nice. He knew these capitalists the best.
Because of that, Belhunt snorted coldly and said, "I won't dishonor my promise. Just you wait."
After saying that, the light emitting from the red crystal on his magic staff faded away.
Just as he was ready to walk out of the conference room, a slender figure suddenly walked in.
A beautiful face appeared in everyone's eyes. The girl looked very calm.
"You don't have to ask me anything because I'm not interested in joining any one of your groups. You're all unworthy!"
After the girl finished speaking, she strode away from everyone's line of sight, leaving the group of higher-ups in a mess.
However, Belhunt seemed to have thought of something, and then said in a very jovial manner, "Oh right, I just remembered that this student isn't really enticed by the idea of joining a major group because…"
As he got to his point, the principal's expression slowly became serious.
Enunciating each word, he told them, "Her surname is Elizabeth!"
After saying that, he walked out.
Everyone in the room was filled with shock.
...
After trying countless times to 'communicate' with the mysterious necklace and failing, he finally stopped trying.
It was better to progress things. He couldn't be in a hurry. He would probably get the answer very soon.
Following which, he opened the Lord panel and thought about giving something a try.

Meek
After failing as an apprentice cooper and a town guard, Eli finds his place at the Rockbridge archives. Sure, he's the oldest 'junior scribe,' but he likes the job. And he's good at it, too. Then he completes an apparently-insignificant project, and the brutal reaction shocks him--with consequences that eventually shake the world. Eli gains powers. Rare and inhuman abilities. He progresses slowly, steadily, and not without setbacks. He changes, too. Is he a hero, a villain, a human, a monster? Depends who you ask. Meek is an epic fantasy with elements of progression. The basic magic is simple: five Paths, each with a different powerset. However, complexity arises from combinations, and the protagonist wields a magic all his own. Meek is set in the Valley, the only (as far as anyone knows) human empire that survived a Final Battle against a terrible foe. The Valley is warded against infiltration, but the enemy learned how to warp human souls, to foment discord within. However, another soul is also ... changed. Perhaps even 'warped.' And that soul is starting on a long (long, long) path that might, one day, prove that the Final Battle wasn't so final after all.

Bloody Hell
Alan Maxwell has one exceptional talent. He can read peoples body language and micro expressions so well that, in many cases it's not hard for him to fake being psychic. When a foreign agency decides that said talent would make him an exceptional spy, events quickly begin to spiral out of control. With enemies on all sides, and friends that will as soon kill each other as his enemies, Alan will have to put his skills to the test in the ultimate game of cat and mouse. ===I came up with this story in response to a question. I once asked someone why there weren't really any Yandere harems. I realize that the answer to that is 'everyone dies' but thats boring so... here we are. A story I came up with explicitly as an excuse to create a harem entirely out of obsessive psychopathic axe murderers. Or in other words - "What happens to Bond girls when they disappear?"As a warning, there are sex scenes. Its tagged. I'll leave an authors note at the top of any chapter that has them if you'd prefer to skip it.

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment.
