Global Lord: Building A Magical God Realm From Scratch Chapter 2

This world had supreme experts, countless skilled mages of extraordinary talents were born every day.
Many myths and legends really existed.
Countless universes, countless planes, and countless worlds would collide in the Endless Demon Territory.
Thus, there were countless resources and unknown treasures.
...
Although this girl had awakened a superior-grade Lord's Heart, causing quite a stir.
However, she was quickly suppressed by one of the school teachers. After the awakening ceremony, they could chat as much as they wanted.
It wasn't the right moment now.
After that, they continued with the awakening ceremony.
Very quickly, the students completed their awakening one by one. After that girl, there were no more Lord's Hearts of such quality appearing.
It seemed that there were very few of such quality after all.
Finally, the teacher called out Lindsay's name.
Walking onto the high platform, he saw a magic crystal ball placed on top of a stone platform.
The crystal ball was surrounded by a magical, glowing halo.
The teacher in charge of helping the students awaken their Lord's Hearts looked up calmly and said, "Lindsay, Grade 12, Class 7."
"Here, teacher!" Lindsay replied.
The teacher nodded, raised the magic staff in his hand, and began to chant.
It was then that a stream of light emitted from the magic staff, connected to the magic crystal ball on the stone platform.
A strong light burst out from the crystal ball, suddenly enveloping Lindsay.
Lindsay felt that his body and mind seemed to have been sublimated. In an instant, it was as if he had undergone purification.
If he could examine his body at that moment, he felt like he would understand himself better.
He did not expect to receive such benefits after awakening his Lord's Heart.
After that, an incomparably dazzling light shone out.
Everyone's eyes widened.
"This is...the Golden Lord's Heart. Oh my god! It can't be true!"
"It seems to be true. How is this possible? Since our school was established, there has never been a Golden Lord's Heart!"
Other than the students, there were many other people on the field.

Including the other student's parents and those who were watching the show.
After all, this was something that only happened once a year.
When they saw that Lindsay's light was actually golden, everyone was shocked.
This included the principal and the school leader.
"Hurry up and get me information on this student. It should only take you one minute at most."
"Yes, Principal!"
After saying this, one of the teachers went to go and inquire about Lindsay's information.
"No, wait a minute!" The principal immediately called out to the teacher.
The teacher felt a little strange. He did not know what the principal wanted.
However, he soon understood why.
The students and parents at the field were also dumbfounded.
They saw that the initially dazzling golden light coming from Lindsay on the high platform had actually started to change.
Slowly, it turned from golden to purple, then from purple to blue, and then to green.
Finally, it slowly turned white.
After that, the light from Lindsay's body dissipated.
Just like that, the awakening ceremony ended.
"This... is a White Lord's Heart!?"
The teacher in charge of the awakening announced the results in disbelief. This turn of events really caught people off guard.
"Sigh! Another white. I thought I was witnessing a miracle!"
Disappointed voices came from the field, but there was not much ridicule.
Because most of the students awakened White Lord's Hearts, they did not have the right to laugh at others.
However, what everyone did not notice was that the golden light Lindsay had emitted was not caused by the awakening ceremony.
Instead, it was emitted straight from his body. It could be said that the awakening ceremony had triggered a switch in his body, which was why the light was emitted.
Even the person involved, Lindsay, did not know about this.
At this moment, Lindsay looked at the Lord's Heart that had appeared in front of him. His mind was completely in a daze.
He had just been about to awaken a golden-quality Lord's Heart. How did it turn white?

Heavens, why did you need to disappoint me in such a way!
Was this really the time to jest?!
Looking at Lindsay's expression, the teacher in charge of awakening sighed and said, "Don't linger on your sadness. Even a White Lord's Heart has the ability to become someone in life. This world is filled with opportunities."
Lindsay nodded slightly and put away the Lord's Heart.
When he walked off the stage, the principal also stood up and comforted him. However, Lindsay only nodded his head and did not hear what he said.
...
When he walked into the house, Lindsay seemed to have lost all his strength and just threw himself on the sofa.
His eyes were filled with bitterness.
"I've been in this world for 16 years, but I haven't heard anything about anyone being able to summon a Golden Lord's Heart. It seems that the plots in those novels are ultimately fictional. There's no such thing as a destined protagonist. In the end, there are still the most ordinary people in this world!
"I'm just one of the many ordinary people."
Lindsay wanted to fall asleep so badly that he could wallow more in his sorrows later.
However, the moment he closed his eyes, an image of his previous life suddenly flashed through his mind.
Growing up in an orphanage, he worked and studied hard in order to get the donations of those bigwigs, always trying his best to please them.
In the end, he won a scholarship and went to the country's best university.
He was always at the top of the university and even became the Best Graduate of the Year, receiving countless scholarships.
However, when it came to the workplace, he was treated unfairly.
However, he had indeed relied on his own ability to become a senior in the company. In the end, an accident occurred and he had transmigrated to this world.
Suddenly, Lindsay opened his eyes.
"In my previous life, I was able to fight my way out of such a miserable situation. This world is still filled with endless possibilities. Why can't I do the same as well?
"I can't continue to be passive. I haven't advanced yet so how can I retreat? I definitely can't do such a thing. As long as I have faith, I can fight for everything. It'll just be a bit more difficult but I guess that's my odds.
"Power and endless life. I want to obtain it all. Heavens and the Endless Demon Territory, wait for me to conquer you all."
After he said that, excitement and confidence appeared on Lindsay's face.
His previous disappointment was all gone.
Following this, the Lord's Heart inside of him shook as three options suddenly appeared in his vision.
[Lord / Territory / Descend]
When he saw this, Lindsay opened the territory panel without hesitation.
[Territory: Unnamed
Lord: Lindsay
Level: 1
Buildings: Simple Wooden House (Level 1), Wooden Fence (Level 1)
Residents: 0
Territory Specialty: Legendary Soldier
Description: Every time a soldier is summoned, their abilities will be increased by 10%.]
'Only having a 10% increase is pretty weak. It might not be that bad at first glance but it won't be enough when I'm in the Endless Demon Territory.'
As he thought that, Linshall opened the Lord's interface once more.
[Lindsay Hall
Territory: Unnamed
Race: Human
Level: 1
Vitality: 1
Spirit: 2
Bloodline: Low-level
Item: Mysterious Necklace
Description: A normal person with a standard value of 1.]
Lindsay was not too surprised by this description.
As for why his spirit was so high, it was probably because he was a transmigrator.
However, what was this Mysterious Necklace that he apparently held?
Normally, after awakening one's Lord's Heart, there would not be any other random 'gifts'. The only items they would obtain were ones that would obtain later in life.
Wait, could it be…?
Suddenly thinking of a possibility, Lindsay's face was full of excitement.
It was the Golden Lord's Heart!

His peculiar race, charismatic personality, and talent for turning negative situations sideways might just be the tools he needs to achieve his goals, or they may lead to his ruin. Adventurer Book II - Dawn of an Empire Short story prequel- The Lurking Lair: An Adventuer Series Short Story Summary for the LitRPG savvy reader: Looking for a LitRPG that is more tabletop traditional role playing game and less MMORPG? This is probably your cup of tea. Long term progression with a heavy slice of life element. Strong mix and inclusion of ancient Greek life, values, and myths. Hence, the world can be a bit more harsh and brutish than modern sensibilities. The system is tangible and knowable beyond the MC's insights. The MC is more of an everyman than someone specifically chosen for the experience. Author's Note: This is my debut novel. Up until this point, the only thing I have written of comparable length has been non-fiction and related to history. I am immensely grateful to all the folks who have given me feedback and helped me improve my writing.

Triquetra: A Multi-Class Isekai or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Accept the End of the Multiverse
Triquetra: An Multi-Class Isekei Adventure I know, I know, you have heard it all before. Yes I was hit by a truck. Yes I ended up in a Fantastical World suspiciously similar to one of my favorite RPG’s. Yes I had access to cheats no one else possessed. Yes it was a world of classes and levels and magic powers. Finally, yes I was an overweight middle-aged loser failing to live up to my potential. Given my eclectic reading habits I should have been better prepared. Unfortunately I was not. Sure I could multi-class with reduced penalties, but my starting class was Scholar! No combat abilities and very limited spellcasting. My HUD interface costs mana to use, and my universal translation seemed to be outsourced to Giggle Translate. I’m supposed to be an OP MC! Not a slice-o- life struggling to survive in the wilderness. Not to mention the Arch-Magus who summoned me, mistimed everything, I arrived 300 years too late, after the fall of the Empire I was supposed to save. The surviving remnants have devolved into Murder Hobos. What’s worse is that the Great Devourer, Ancient Calamity, and Spawn from the Void Beyond Time, Space, and Sanity is now aware of a new world to plunder, a world called Dirt! (Told you this translator sucks) Warning Extra Crunchy Authorial Vebosity! Lots of infodump in the early chapters, but I learn my lesson and it does get better, eventually. I do not own the Cover image, found it on a free image site.

Dark Matter
In the year 2023, scientists investigating the nature of dark matter caused a blackout throughout the entire world of Coranth. With this blackout came the appearance of supernatural and near-magical elemental abilities able to be wielded by all. By harnessing the dark matter in the environment, even ordinary humans now accessed powers that would have been deemed fantasy. These abilities include Wind, Fire, Lightning, Water, and Terra, being the five natural elements of which dark matter is absorbed by the planet itself. Additionally, the two moons orbiting Coranth offer the "Superior" elements of Dark and Light. The year is now 2041, and Dark Matter will follow the story of an adolescent boy named Raiden Sullivan in a dystopian future, 16 years old, eldest of 2, and son to Marcus Sullivan. Raiden is an intelligent young man belonging to a poor family with an absentee mother. He partakes in daily chores to cover living expenses after school and his home life is surrounded by his caring father and younger sister. In truth, this is my take on urban fantasy with slight LitRPG that keeps the "magic" elements somewhat scientific for a more realistic story. In using the dark matter surrounding our universe, humans can now harness elemental abilities as well as absorb dark matter from the beasts/monsters to further strengthen their abilities. For the most part, that'll be the main premise of the power system. Full transparency, this will be the first story I write and also the first story I publish, so please be patient with me. For some context, I'm an avid reader and after 4 or so years of only consuming, I feel that it might be time to try my hand at writing instead. Please feel free to add your opinions and criticism, it would be much appreciated. With that said, I hope you enjoy Dark Matter!
