Reborn As A Giant Scorpion: Evolution By Consumption Chapter 39

This giant octopus did not want to fight with Alex.
It issued a low warning.
'This guy's IQ is not low,' Alex thought.
However, Alex did not want to let go of this nutritious prey. Although this giant octopus was like a god of death to the humans on the cruise ship, it was not a threat to Alex.
Alex slowly crawled towards the giant octopus.
The giant octopus roared again and threw the human on its tentacles to Alex. Alex knew that it did not want to provoke him and was ready to share the prey with him.
He only took a glance and continued to move towards the octopus. Compared to the octopus in front of him, he had lost his interest in humans temporarily.
The giant octopus was also angered. It roared, and eight huge tentacles attacked Alex at the same time.
Its tentacles were like whips, whistling with the sound of the wind. There was also white sticky liquid on them, which spread in the cabin of the cruise ship, leaving traces of corrosion.
Alex's speed was so fast that the tentacles could not keep up with his pace. He looked at the sticky liquid on the surface of the tentacles and was slightly surprised. He did not expect the sticky liquid to be so corrosive.
The metal walls of the cabin were corroded to black, crackling and emitting white smoke.
Alex used his scorpion foot to grab one of the tentacles. It was not an attack. Instead, he tightly attached to the tentacle and crawled towards the head of the giant octopus.
The other seven tentacles of the giant octopus suddenly swept over and attacked Alex again.
Alex activated the electric shield, and 360 volts of electricity flowed on the surface. When the seven tentacles of the giant octopus touched the current, they were slightly numbed by the electric shock and shrank back like lightning.

At this time, Alex ran to the octopus's head and stabbed his tail into its head.
The giant octopus screamed and shook its head violently. The muscle tissue on its head squirmed and threw him off its head.
After shaking him off, the giant octopus let out a strange roar. It no longer had the heart to fight against Alex. It waved its eight-strong tentacles like eight strong legs as it frantically fled out of the cabin.
Alex was shocked. "This guy is an aquatic animal. He can run so fast on land. My poison can poison an elephant to death in a few seconds. This guy can escape even after being stabbed by me. His resistance to poison is extremely high."
Alex was curious as he chased after the giant octopus monster.
...
Mose, Allen and another mercenary came to the deck of the cruise ship like stray dogs.
"Kelly, quickly bring the boat over." Mose stood on the cruise ship and shouted at Kelly below.
A middle-aged man with a cigarette in his mouth lazily walked out of the cabin. He looked up at Mose and said, "Mr. Mose, what happened? I think I heard gunshots. Your progress doesn't seem to be going well."
Mose waved his hand and said, "Stop talking. Quickly bring the boat over. We'll leave immediately."
Kelly nodded. "Okay, you're the employer. We'll listen to you."
Mose was furious when he saw Kelly's casual look.
Damn it. The man-eating monster behind was about to attack.
At that moment, there was a soft sound from the cruise ship, and the entire cruise ship shook.
Mose and Allen looked at each other and saw deep fear on each other's faces.
One of the mercenaries said in horror, "Damn it, that monster is coming."

Mose kicked the mercenary to the ground and said sternly, "Get out of here, don't be in the way. You're f*cking useless."
They originally wanted to follow the rope of the cruise ship, but when they thought of the giant octopus launching an attack while they were hanging in the air, they did not have the strength to use it.
Now that they were standing on the deck, they could still pick up their submachine guns to fight against the monster. If they were stuck on the rope, their fate would be certain.
Therefore, they gave up the idea of escaping. Mose turned around and aimed his guns in the direction of the monster, ready to repel the beast. They needed to buy some time to run.
A few minutes later, two giant tentacles appeared in the sight of Mose and Allen.
"Fire," Mose shouted, "Kill this disgusting animal."
The two submachine guns fired at the two giant tentacles, and in an instant, they shot many bullets into the two giant tentacles.
Suddenly, a third and fourth tentacle reached out from the cabin. These two tentacles grabbed down fiercely, and Mose and Allen's heads exploded.
One of the mercenaries was so scared that he could not hold his bladder.
He thought that he would follow in the footsteps of Mose and Allen in the next moment, but the giant tentacles ignored him and went straight to the bow of the ship. Then, a three-meter-tall creature appeared in Simon's sight.
It was the first time he saw this man-eating sea monster.
"So this is a huge mutated octopus," the mercenary thought in fear.
Suddenly, the sea monster let out a strange roar. Its voice was full of pain.
"Could it be that this sea monster is also injured?" The mercenary thought curiously.
Everybody on the cruise ship had been devoured by it. Who else could be its opponent?
However, in the next moment, he understood. A two-meter-long giant scorpion followed behind this giant sea monster. The mercenary could see that the scorpion's two large pincers tightly clamped onto one of the octopus's tentacles.
Although this giant scorpion was more than two meters long, it was insignificant compared to the giant sea monster.
However, the octopus was afraid of the giant scorpion. It did not dare to turn back and resist. Instead, it used some unknown method to make the tentacle that was caught by the giant scorpion detach from its body.
After the giant octopus threw away its tentacle, it jumped down.
Below the cruise ship, Kelly had just started the small boat when he saw a huge object falling from the sky. Before he could recover from his shock, the small boat was smashed into pieces.
Then, the octopus and the small boat sank into the sea.
"It's not that easy to escape." Alex jumped suddenly and drew a beautiful arc in the air. Then, he sank into the sea and chased after the colossal octopus.
The mercenary was the only witness to this battle. He looked at the place where the octopus and the scorpion left in shock. He could not calm down for a long time.
"This is too crazy. I didn't expect that the big guy that swallowed all the passengers on the cruise ship would also run away. That big scorpion is a terrifying creature," the mercenary said with lingering fear.
"I hope they die together!"
