Reborn As A Giant Scorpion: Evolution By Consumption Chapter 23

Following Titan's gaze, when Connors and the others saw Alex, they felt their throats dry up and were stunned.
What Cotton said was indeed true. A scorpion more than two meters long existed in this world.
It ultimately turned their worldview around.
They had hunted in the Amazon rainforest for more than twenty years and had seen many strong creatures. There were six-meter long lizards, thirteen-meter long pythons, and two-headed caiman crocodiles.
However, this was the first time they had seen such a giant scorpion.
After being shocked, Titan immediately revealed a strong sense of greed. Such a giant scorpion could make him a fortune.
If he caught this scorpion, he would never have to come to this damned place in the future.
Those wealthy South Americans liked such an rare creature very much. Moreover, such a giant scorpion was probably the only scorpion in the world.
Its value was immeasurable.
Looking at the greedy eyes of Titan, Cotton knew that he had the same thoughts as he had before.
But this scorpion was not ordinary. It was a terrifying bloodthirsty giant scorpion.
Whether it was the scorpion's feet or the high tail stinger, they were not something they could beat.
At that time, Cotton looked back and saw Sam's head explode like a watermelon. Blood splattered out. He would never forget this scene.
Ordinary guns were useless against it. Probably the shotgun can kill it?
Looking at the shotgun in Vesta's hand, Cotton breathed in relief.
At this time, Alex was still four to five meters away from them. He made the first move.
The stinger swung in the air, and the sharp stinger directly stabbed at Vesta. This smooth action was fast, ruthless, and accurate.
"F * ck!" Vesta cursed when he saw the giant scorpion stinger coming straight at him.
However, just as he was about to raise the shotgun in his hand, Alex's stinger pierced through his head. With a considerable force, he spun abruptly, and blood splattered all over the sky, splattering all over the bodies of the people.

They smelled the thick smell of blood and looked in the direction of Vesta and were suddenly shocked.
He was still standing in the same place, but his neck was dripping with blood, revealing the cold bone stubble. No one knew where his head had gone, and then he fell to the ground in front of everyone's eyes.
"F*ck!"
"Damn it!"
"Shoot quickly. This scorpion is too powerful."
Titan quickly raised the submachine gun in his hand and aimed it at Alex.
"Da Da Da Da!"
Dense gunshots rang out, and the golden bullets formed an encirclement. However, Alex was not afraid at all. In the rain of bullets, he raised his pincers and directly killed two men.
Alex snapped their necks. They fell to the ground weakly with their eyes wide open.
Everyone was terrified.
Fear, panic, horror, regret, sadness.
In a short period, all kinds of complicated emotions rose in their hearts. At this moment, money and benefits were all BULLISH * T!.
Alex had gone through four evolutions, so he was not afraid of these ordinary bullets at all.
Even if there was a Barrett rifle, the king of guns that could penetrate tanks, Alex was confident that he could contend against it.
Not to mention these toy guns in front of him.
The submachine guns, AK rifles, and the shotgun that people called the king of combat were useless.
In the face of fear, Boogie roared and pulled the trigger crazily, but it could not stop Alex's footsteps at all. Alex crawled towards him step by step
.
"Damn it!"
Boogie took out the grenade at his waist. "Come on, you monster."
He wanted to blow up this hateful scorpion.
But in the next second, he had just pulled the trigger of the grenade when he felt a sharp pain in his palm. It turned out that Alex's tail had swept over and accurately cut through his forearm.

The grenade was also shot out and exploded in the distance.
Boogie's entire body was in massive pain. He could only watch as the scorpion tail swept over. With a clear sound, Alex broke his spine, and he slowly fell to the ground. He died a miserable death.
There were seven leopard poachers, and there were only four people left in the blink of an eye.
Titan, Cotton, and the remaining two people were all in despair.
This scorpion was simply invincible. It was a super tank in the Amazon rainforest.
Not only was its defense strong, but its scorpion legs were also robust. Where did this thing come from? Why had they never seen it in the past twenty years?
But the situation did not allow them to consider. Titan's face was gloomy, and the other two men were also in despair.
Cotton looked at the giant golden scorpion, and his heart collapsed.
He knelt on the ground in fear and wailed loudly. He knocked his head with a "Bang Bang," and his face was full of despair.
Of course, Alex would not forgive him easily. Since he had provoked him, he had to be aware that he was going to die.
The Scorpion tail that came like a hurricane directly hit Cotton's neck. His entire head distorted, and it was evident that Alex had broken his spine.
Titan was already dumbfounded. His team was all experienced people who had been through hundreds of battles. They had once killed the mercenaries who had clashed with each other, but they did not have the strength to resist when facing Alex.
Terror, panic, fear, fear, regret, all those feelings were coming up.
Tiran escaped!
In just a short span of ten seconds, six out of seven people had turned into corpses. Alex let Titan go on purpose.
He knew that there were many poachers in the Amazon rainforest. If Alex wanted to find their location faster, he would need a good guide. Titan was a good choice.
"Bang Bang Bang!"
Although Titan was massive, in terms of escaping skills, he was not inferior at all.
He ran a few thousand meters in one breath. He leaned against an ancient tree and panted heavily. He was scared.
Now that he thought about how terrifying that giant scorpion was, he could not help but be afraid.
Especially its pincers. They were like sharp cutting machines that could easily cut open a person's neck. It was too terrifying.
If it were possible, he would prefer not to have been to the Amazon rainforest.
He knew that this scorpion would not let him go. It might be chasing him crazily from a thousand meters away. When he thought of that scene, Titan could not help but tremble.
It was a devil.
An ordinary scorpion's feet were full of protein. Tiran liked eating scorpions a lot. They were very crispy and tasted very good.
However, the feet of this scorpion were as if they were made of steel. They could not even be pierced through by bullets.
Titan could imagine the scene where the scorpion's feet could easily tear his neck. He had to find a safe place now.
He couldn't stop. He had to continue moving forward.
"Scorpion mercenary group. Yes, they have rocket launchers. They can kill this scorpion."
Titan thought of something and ran in the direction of the Scorpion mercenary group.
But what he did not know was that when he was resting just now, Alex was in the bushes less than ten meters away from him, staring at him coldly.
"Scorpion mercenary group, how interesting." Alex thought to himself.
I am a scorpion; you are a scorpion hunter mercenary. Let's see who will die!

Bon Week-end
He runs the underground. She’s made it her playground. Their time together--the stuff of pulp fiction. When a corrupt corporate conspiracy threatens to tear them apart, they blast back with their offbeat brand of crime and chaos. This story is just one from the pulps. Film critic Roger Ebert once described them as ‘cheap, disposable entertainment that you could take to work with you, and roll up and stick in your back pocket.’ So do just that--and read it on the weekend. Bon Week-end is a novel written in the tradition of Jean-Patrick Manchette’s neo-polar, existing now as what shall be known as the neo-serial. This is Nippoten’s second serial following the superhero epic Entirely Presenting You. This novel will have a rather unique release schedule compared to others. To stay up to date, check out the main site and more specifically the chapters page.

Magical elements and the like will not be a factor in most of the story until the very end. tl;dr: This is not fantasy, magic doesn't play a role in the story. --- Updates: Will try to post a chapter once every 2 days PS. Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. Book 1 is complete. Book 2 is complete and coming out M-W-F.
